2 stars because the bartender was very nice but while passing through I stopped in as most places in Monroe are closed by 5pm on a Sunday. The item I originally ordered was out so I ordered the recommended dish ... I took it to go, got back to my hotel and found a pretty much inedible meal. I can't believe they have the guts to call this a "salad" - I know it's a small town and I know I'm not a local - but I'm still in shock. Super happy I was able to DoorDash something else. read more

Food is great I like the pepperoni eater's thin crust pizza. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

After cycling down the trail not too far from this gem of a restaurant I was hungry! So I found the only place in town that was open after 4pm on a Sunday. This place was so cute and the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. I had the chicken wings ( they are to DIE FOR!) if you think you want 5 wings, make sure you order 10..... you can thank me later. Then the salad and homemade blue cheese dressing was just perfect then on to my meal and it was a meal! I ordered the fried fish sandwich. It was super simple.... great toasted bun, bear battered fish and tartar. The service was fast and precise. It was a win! read more

I've had Bullet's pizza many a time and this was the second time I've dined in and tried something other than pizza. The interior is clean and rustic, they had decorations up for the holiday too. We sat in a booth and our server was very attentive and polite. We had their classic thin crust pizza and I ordered coconut shrimp. With our order, we got access to the salad bar. It is full of pickled vegetables and regrettably, iceberg lettuce. Special shout out to the coleslaw though! The pizza crust is great and the mozzarella has a hefty stretch and taste. The shrimp breading had a nice amount of coconut but the proportion of breading to shrimp was a bit off. Thought the pizza could of had a bit more flavor and a crispier crust for my liking Delivery was quick and courteous.

My favorite thing here is the green bean fries but unfortunately haven't had much luck with anything else. Got the bullet's burger tonight for the Green County Cheeseburger contest and it was just meh. Not the worst but not great either. The meat was kind of chewy and not very flavorful. The crunchy wontons and coleslaw were pretty good but the sauce was a little too sweet. I've also had the poor man's cod here before and wasn't a fan. The service was friendly but I was really surprised at how slow it was considering we were literally the only people in the restaurant. The beer choices are almost all domestic and there's nothing really spectacular. If you feel the need to stop here, get the green bean fries. read more

We have been here a few times. The salad bar is smaller but everything in it is a making of a good salad bar. The fish dinner excellent. Waitress never came back except to bring bill. Could of used water refill. read more

We have been here a couple of times now and the food is dependable. I would say the French Dip is my favorite of what I have tried, but the sauce last time was a pinch heavy handed on the salt. The salad bar is good but they could up it and get rid of the shredded lettuce and get better lettuce (I think people would be happy to see that change). Bullets is pretty darn good with most of what they do. The bullets special pizza is one of my favorites. It's the only pizza where I really like the sausage. I love the French Dip also. The only thing that I would change about Bullets is the restaurant layout. It drives me crazy going up to the salad bar area. When I order an entree, I usually ask for soup to avoid the salad bar area. read more

The food is always sub-par here and the sad thing is it is considered one of the better restaurants in Monroe. The salad bar and pizza is always delicious but that is about it. I had there special the other day lasagna rolls which is lasagna sheets with ricotta cheese rolled up with a spaghetti sauce on top. Everything was just blah...not bad just no flavor the way I look at things is food should be served the way it should be ate I shouldn't have to dump salt and pepper on it to make it feel like I am eating something. Bullets has been around forever. Their pizza is good, their chicken alfredo pizza is great. Their salad bar is awesome and I love their spaghetti and meatballs. Their fried green beans come with a wonderful dipping sauce. If you order cheese bread with dipping sauce, you will be pleased. Order a brandy old fashion sweet if you don't want a beer. The pizza is mediocre at best. They mess up the order 8 out of 10 times. The female bartender like to wear low cut tops. Very inappropriate, it isn't Hooters. The owner needs to get more involved with his business and not be afraid to set some rules. The staff could be a bit friendlier, especially when calling and their attitude in answering the phone. read more
