I'm new to the area, and let's be honest--you don't just pull up to any random laundromat. So I did what most people do and checked Yelp to see what everyone was saying. The great reviews led me to The Laundry Place in Compton. I parked in the back lot. It's small, but I had no problem finding a space. Before unloading all my laundry, I went inside to check the place out. They have some construction going on, but it doesn't interfere with getting your laundry done. The facility was surprisingly clean and well maintained, and all of the machines looked like they were in excellent condition. I was especially impressed with the huge 80-pound commercial washer--it was only $9.75, which I thought was a great price. One thing I really appreciated was that I didn't have to deal with people hanging around outside. There wasn't central A/C, but they had a large industrial portable unit that kept the place comfortable enough that I barely noticed. There were plenty of chairs and tables, although I wish there were a few more folding tables. I made it work and folded my clothes on one of the available tables. The woman working there was friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. While I was folding, a gentleman came in, introduced himself as Eric, the owner, and asked how my experience had been. I told him it was actually the Yelp reviews that brought me in! I also really liked their card system. First-time customers receive a credit toward their wash, and you earn an extra $3 for every $25 you load onto your card. That's definitely a nice bonus. Best of all, my clothes came out super clean--no mystery stains! The dryers handled large loads really well. My only suggestion would be for the dryers to run a little longer than five minutes per cycle, but adding more time is easy. Just tap your card, and each additional 25¢ gives you four more minutes. Hopefully, I won't be without my washer and dryer for too long, but I would absolutely recommend The Laundry Place to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained laundromat with friendly service. I'll definitely be back to wash my oversized comforters. Thanks, The Laundry Place, for exceeding my expectations!

There is a dedicated attendant team cleaning, checking on patrons and at the service desk. All staff I interacted with on drop off were friendly, patient and helpful. The clothes are clean, soft, nicely-scented and are well-folded. The context: I am so grateful for the service provided by this team. I have never used fluff and fold services, and I struggle with social anxiety. So trying a new service at a new venue was already nerve wracking for me. On top of that, I have lost my aunt to cancer and granny to stroke within the last six months. This weekend we had to care for my uncle in the Bay Area who had a cerebral hemorrhage and they gave him 4 weeks left to live. Needless to say, I was in dire need of help and Laundry Guys came through. The female attendant at 10pm on 6/23/2026 was so kind and warm. She patiently explained all my options, the process and costs. I felt confident leaving this task in her hands. And the price was very fair for the volume! When I got home and unpacked the clean clothes, I felt a weight lift off. The clothes were given a second life, and softer and well-scented more than I could have imagined! As a dog owner, I chalked it up to having a busy pet life. But apparently, I should leave it to the experts! The clothes were folded as I would have, so I was able to quickly slip my clothes into the drawers. I appreciate the pre-hung clothes as well. This service quality is deserving of the price. I will gladly use their services again. I will make sure to update this review as I have more experience with this vendor.

I've been coming to this laundromat for a while, and the difference under the new management is impressive. The place is always clean, there is plenty of parking, and all of the washers and dryers are working properly. There were some dryer issues in the past, but those problems have been fixed and everything runs great now. The machines are well maintained, the atmosphere is pleasant, and doing laundry here is quick and convenient. It's nice to see management investing in improvements and taking care of the customers. Convenient with the free dry but my problem here is the stench in some of the washing machines they smell like distilled beach water and it lingers to your clothes,once you dry the smell is off another thing is the dryers a lot more have stopped functioning or you are only able to use a light no heat cycle which is inconvenient as well.Other than that if you go for what you need to you should be all gravy. read more

This is by far the best laundry mat in this area. Very specious. Super clean. Plenty of parking spots. Unlike most laundries their machineries are all operative. I've been to others in the area where half of their machines were out of order. But this one has not disappoint yet. I've been willing to drive 4 extra miles to go to this place instead of the other 2 libraries closer to me. Highly recommend. read more

Bullis Laundry in Compton is a laundromat that is clean, kept up with and has staff walking around all the time. I have been there 7 times now and Its been clean, machines have been working and this is a big laundromat so even when its busy, there is plenty available. There is security there 24/7 and last time had them wash and fold for me it i was very happy. Highly recommend Bullis Laundry. read more

By far the cleanest and best laundromat in the Compton area . Owner Sharon is super friendly and attentive, and on deck to ensure the machines are running and the place is clean. The washing machine soap and softener dispensers are spotless. Laundromat has washing machines varying from 20 to 80lbs. Sharon also offers wash dry and fold. Highly recommended! read more

Now having to do double will cost 22 dollars just to wash out the soap!!! You are better off going to the laundry mat down the street from here on 92nd and central ave!!!! There should be no excuse for how dirty this coin laundry is the one down the street is very clean! Either hire people that will do their job right or close for good!!!!

The smallest washer (20 lb) is $5, which is honestly wild, I've never paid more than $3 for a machine that size anywhere else. While drying is free, it takes a very long time. The dryers don't seem to get very hot, and it feels like the heat and time decrease the more you dry, which forces you to separate loads just to get everything fully dry. Overall, the space itself is nice and comfortable, but the high washer prices and inefficient drying make it hard to justify coming back regularly.
