Nice place to grab a bite to eat at an affordable price. Located right on the main tourist strip, there's plenty of seating available. There is no ac but it's shaded in the open building. The fish tacos come with a lot of fixings like cream, pico, and cabbage, but it could use some salt or seasoning. Food came out super fast. There is a small restroom located in the back. Located on a street in downtown Ensenada, this sit down restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seating available, has a bar/pub type feel yet ok for kids and families to sit down and eat. We had the tortilla chips with salsa, and 4 fish tacos which we shared as a party of 3; reasonable price ($2.60 US dollars per taco). As for flavor, it did have a slight fishy flavor (half star off) which tells me that it might not be as fresh, but it was still good and did not make me sick. The serving was definitely smaller than that of a fish taco in California, but it was very filling. For me, the chips were just ok. I do like that along with the salsa, they gave us a crema sauce in a squeeze bottle, red hot sauce, and green hot sauce. As far as if this is my ultimate favorite fish taco place, I would say it is not because Taco Nazo in Bellflower, CA, is still the number one best fish taco for me. However, most fish tacos derive from Ensenada which it is good to pay homage to the original, so if you want a safe solution for a fish taco, then choose Bullos Place and enjoy! read more

Every time we come to Ensenada we make sure to hit up this place! The food is good, fresh! We love the shrimp tacos the most! It gets busy, so the service could be better; they try their best though! Sometimes orders get mixed up so make sure to pay attention to what you ordered and what you get! The inside isn't that big but they do also have outside seating! Tacos were so delicious! Must try the fish or shrimp. The stuffed chiles were soooooo good! You just HAVE to try it, it's so different.. the mango margarita was much needed, tasted like real mango but it could've been a tad bit stronger. Service was awesome! Fast, attentive. Really good taco spot in Ensenada. Stopped here during our visit while on a cruise. Not a far walk from the cruise ship terminal. There is limited seating, but we were able to share a table outside. I ordered a chicken taco and an asada taco. Both were really good. My mom ordered a couple of shrimp tacos. She loved them. The salsas they provided were way too spicy for us. But the pico was pretty good. The service was okay. It did take an awhile to get our food and check. The price was good too. Pretty cheap for several tacos. read more

At the Ensenada cruise port there will be busses lined up to transport cruise guests into town. Remember to bring cash. You can take the bus or choose to walk just a short distance along the walkway leading into town. From the bus drop off it'll be on the south side of the main shopping street. Wonderful service and one of the best fish tacos! Tables inside or out on the sidewalk patio with umbrellas. During our Carnival Cruise in Ensenada, we wanted to try out one of the taco spots in town. This place was super packed, so we knew we went to the right spot. Our server greeted us immediately, with a big smile on his face which made us feel very welcomed. We decided to order 3 tacos a piece (Asada, fish, and shrimp) with a side of canned sodas and the meal was actually pretty cheap in comparison to most places we've visited. All of the tacos were filled to the rim with delectably fresh meats and veggies. There were a ton of taped dollar bills with names scribbled on them (I'm guessing a restaurant tradition), so we decided to mark our names on the wall as well. Took a topless bus tour in Ensenada and was recommended by our guide to try this place out. Upon entering, we were greeted and quickly seated at a table. We started with a mango margarita while we looked over the menu. The margarita was ok, they use fresh mangoes but it was a bit sweet and too thick for my liking. I know fish tacos were "historically invented" and originated in Ensenada but I don't eat fish so I opted for a veggie taco and my sister had their fish tacos. Lol She raved about how fresh the fish was and how perfectly it was prepared, unlike some other places we've been to back home. I wouldn't have expected anything less since Ensenada is THEE place to get the best fish tacos! My veggie taco was just as tasty! It was basically sautéed bell peppers on a corn tortilla but paired with their housemade salsas, it was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more! Service was excellent, it wasn't busy at the time and our food came out quick. There is a FREE restroom located in the back of the restaurant for customers, so be sure to use it if necessary, before exploring Ensenada! lol read more

Ate here during a cruise stop. A little past the normal hustle and bustle, but truly a great little spot. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos are the star here. Super good, super friendly service and reasonable prices. Would skip the margaritas, generally - not as good as you'd expect, but you're here for the fish tacos...stick to the beer. Saw them using packaged ice so should be safe for Americans ... none of us got ill and we all had a drink blended with ice. Accepts Zelle payment, no credit cards directly. Went here with my friends during our last cruise stop because we were recommended it by a friend who works on the ship. Atmosphere seemed nice and not many people. We asked a guest walking out if it was good and they replied with enthusiasm, "YES DO IT!" So we thought we had to order. Once seated we ordered and got two combos which included 3 tacos each and a drink with each order. Our server told us the margarita that came with my friend and I's order was too small to share so we got another marg as well. Both came out and were massive, however they were not good. Tequila was poured on top of the drinks not at all mixed in, even in the blended marg. Too strong. Tacos were very disappointing as well. Too much batter, undercooked, and barely any flavorful fish. Service was disappointing as well. Our server began as nice, then when we sent back food because it was the wrong order, she came back with an attitude and threw our food down. At the end, the price was way above what it should have been for this low quality experience. $47 for 6 tacos and two drinks which should've been about $20. I do not recommend. read more

Had a friend that worked on the cruise ship recommend this place. We wanted to try good fish tacos so we went here. Nice atmosphere, stood there for a moment without being acknowledged despite it being pretty much empty. Finally got seated, prices and deal seemed good. Girlfriend and I split a 3 taco one beer combo and our two friends split a 3 taco and margarita combo. We also got two waters and an extra margarita. We asked the server for the toppings of the taco on the side since a couple of us didn't like either cabbage or tomato. Well when the food came to the table the topping weren't on the side. We politely told the server in Spanish, she swiped away the food and remade it hastily with plenty of attitude making sure we heard her throw around our food and tray she was preparing. The fish we got which was not so gently placed on our table was undercooked, and really didn't have a lot of fish in it, just batter. It was really disappointing. On top of that the marg from the combo was just pure tequila, not good at all. The second marg was really the only good thing about the whole picture. And to top it all off, 6 tacos, a beer, and two margs which should've been roughly $35-maybe just maybe $40 was FOURTY SEVEN DOLLARS. For mid tacos, poor service, and not much else. Don't recommend, but give it a chance, I hope you'll have a better experience since people seem to have had so but at least for us, this place is to be avoided. read more

The prices was great as well. We ordered 5 fish tacos, 1 Coke can, 1 mango margarita, chips and guacamole all for $22. The mango margarita was so good as well, it was probably a bit too strong for me since I'm not really a drinker. I ordered the margarita because I wanted to taste what a local drink would taste. I love this place! I've never had a dish from here that wasn't hot, fresh, and tasty! Bullos is located near many other restaurants and shops so you can always drop by after getting your shopping fix. Their prices are very affordable and they will provide your total in American Dollars if needed. What I love most about Bullos is the fact that they use purified water and ice. I have ran into the issue of drinking unfiltered ice in Mexico two times and it will completely ruin your stomach for at least a week. American citizens are not accustomed to the water in Mexico however, this restaurant will not cause you any issues. They have bathrooms available for patrons and a sink to wash your hands.
