Abby is a licensed cosmetologist, NOT a licensed barber, yet continues to perform services she's not properly qualified for and still charges top-tier, premium prices with no credentials to justify it. You're paying luxury prices for work that doesn't match the standards. Her behavior is beyond unprofessional it's offensive and disrespectful. Using racial slurs casually and showing zero accountability says everything about her character. The way employees are treated is just as bad. There have been serious issues involving threats and withholding pay, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, there are ongoing concerns about whether the people working there are even properly licensed. The environment is chaotic, unprofessional, and full of blurred boundaries. The hiring process feels careless, and the people brought into that space have made it uncomfortable and, at times, unsafe. I personally had an experience that made me question everything about that place. She also runs a foundation called "Sharp Start," where she mainly brings in ethnic minority participants and uses them for promotion on her page while building her own image. At the same time, employees are expected to work without pay, while she takes the credit and financial benefit. It comes across as less about genuine support and more like a way to boost her brand and generate income. There's a reason people don't last there either they're let go for no real reason or they leave because the environment is toxic. Black men and women, and those of Hispanic heritage please be aware and move accordingly. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects you. This is not that place. The New Staff is lovely and inviting. Bulls and Bears parlor is Luxury Experience from qualified Barbers that are attenuative and professional. I look at it like a rewarding Spa like experience where I can get stylish cut in an atmosphere inspires wealth! Bulls and Bears its not just about the hair cut its about treating yourself to to high quality experience. The staff Caters to you, beverages a la Carte! I can get a razor shave and socialize about Investing or even network. Most importantly you walk out feeling Refreshed and Relaxed. The Wolfenstein I believe gives you the best bag for your buck! I would recommend booking online on their website. If you have been in the past, or never been at all. I would defiantly recommend Checking them out! They have updated their products and services. They have more Economic options for Cuts now, but honestly I feel like the prices are fair and you truly get what you pay for! My experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing and upsetting. During my visit, I encountered behavior that felt very discriminatory and unwelcoming. As a customer, no one should ever feel judged, mistreated, or disrespected because of who they are. What made the situation even worse was the lack of accountability from the owner. Instead of addressing the issue or correcting the behavior, it seemed like this type of treatment was being tolerated inside the establishment. Businesses should create a welcoming environment for everyone, and unfortunately that was not the case here. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Visiting from Sweden, he was nervous that he wouldn't find a good barber like at home. We were recommended Bulls and Barber which was very nearby our hotel. We made an appointment and from arrival to the parlor, we were impressed. First of all the place was very clean! The style of the salon was impressive and decorative. My colleague's barber was great with a great attitude! Great technique with cutting. We had the pleasure to meet the owner who was very engaging. Although Abby has always been my preferred barber I've had good experiences in almost every other barbers chair. The barbers are experts, providing precise, tailored haircuts, and the staff are professional, welcoming, and always provide a personal experience. After walking into Bulls & Bears and explaining how my hair was falling out from chemo in the middle of my trip, Anthony quickly offered to shave it for free. Chase is a master artist. Great barber. He knows old school shaving techniques that give such a nice shave. My haircut was easy and smooth and looks great without me having to explain in detail what I needed. I found this place through Yelp because I was in town for a conference. I'm so glad I did.
