The atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, and just seemed like a fun place to enjoy a great meal and drinks. The menu was incredible!!!!!! There were so many dishes we wanted to try that it was hard to decide! We had the opportunity to chat with the chef/owner, who was incredibly friendly and gave us some recommendations. We ended up ordering the Korean Stir Fry and the Mexican Tuna Roll Sushi, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The Korean Stir Fry was an easy 10/10, and the Mexican Tuna Roll Sushi was one of the best and most unique dishes I've had in a long time. LOVEDD! Our service was attentive, fast, and genuinely friendly. The bartenders and staff were all welcoming and made the experience even better. It's CLEAR they take pride in both their food and hospitality. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, excellent service, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Red Fox Tavern. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

The edamame was amazing; the best I ever had. The sentiment echoed by all at our table. We had an assortment of entrees including burgers, pizza, pasta and salad. Two of us had different versions of the Mac and cheese. The worst we have ever had. There was only a few flecks of cheese. Very dry. I asked for extra cheese sauce and they gave me a small amount that was very thin. The Philly Mac had very dry beef with no discernable flavor. Higher priced for poor food.

Only to find out they didn't do BBQ until 4pm so I will definitely will have to go back. That being said, I did get some amazing food! I started off with the BEST Duck Wontons I've ever had: Cream Cheese, Duck Bacon, Corn, Chives and topped with Smoked Sriracha Aioli! Next was a featured item, not on the regular menu. These WINGS. WOW! Five FULL wings, drum and flat! Habanero Wings! Finally, ended with their partnership burger with House of Gloor @house_of_gloor "The Gloornado" Double Beef Smash Patty, House of Gloor's Chupacabra sauce, smoked corn, avocado, Mexican BBQ sauce, green onion, lime cream, on a telera roll with your choice of side (these fries were phenomenal) Beers: They have a very unique tap list too! When we got there, it was semi busy but not crazy. Wait staff were great at stopping and checking, being attentive. Food came and it was all pretty good. I love wraps, and I love burgers so I got the burger wrap. The combination was good... but not the best. My wife loved her burger so I'll keep the 2 loves separate going forward. As we started finishing up, the place got really really busy as it was bingo night! It was very telling on who were the regular bingo goers as there were 3-4 tables of 6 people who had all their own, personal dobbers. That's great to have that consistency in business... however... The 3 stars was considered because as those 3 significant tables settled in, they demanded and received the full attention of the only 2 servers available, leaving about 5-6 other tables of non-regulars, non-bingo players who just happened to be in the area and decide to swing in for some dinner; much like us. The service for us and the other tables drastically changed and we waited an extra 30 mins as we kept trying to provide payment to our server who kept walking by, trying to attend to the needs of the "regulars". It was a great small townie bar and I miss living in a small town because of that. However, when we're road tripping and stop at places like this, it's important to remember even though you have your regulars... it's the out of town era like us that spread the word of small businesses like this and proved the addition outside flow. We will be back though!

It was clear from the staff prepping, this place is hopping for dinner. It was still quiet when we walked in. Apparently back road day drinking is less of a thing in this area? We started with a cold beer to wash the trail dust from our parched throats. Good selection of local crafts and the staples, ice cold, in frosty glasses. They have a popcorn machine in the corner! This is a real plus for us. We feel it's important to replace the salt you lose on the trail (yep, it's a BMW but we had the windows open!). We both went with burgers for dinner. They have a nice selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and even some entrees on the menu. Our burgers were creative and done perfectly. We bid the friendly bartended adios and hit the trail. We'll be back to the Boonies when our travels bring us back to these parts!

The restaurant itself has a nice style, but it has more of an open concept vibe. It can get loud indoors, especially if there's a sporting event on. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a Taphouse, after all, but it's something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter restaurant. The staff has always been very nice. We've never had any issues with the service. We were starving, so we ordered quite a bit of food. We started with the crispy fried pickles. These are pretty dang great, and my wife described them as the "best fried pickles" she's ever had. I thought they were good too, but maybe not the best. You get a decent amount, a little expensive at $12. We decided to splurge on a second appetizer and ordered the jumbo bacon cheddar chive tots. These are absolutely amazing. "Heavenly" is probably the best way to describe them. I feel like I could eat 30 of these in one sitting because they're that good. They have to be some of the best jumbo tots I've ever had at a restaurant, and the house aioli makes them even better. They're $13, and while they're still a little expensive, you do get a good portion. They're good enough that I'd call them an absolute must order. My wife got the Spicy Honey Salmon Bowl and really liked it. Since it's salmon, it's obviously going to be a little more expensive, but I was impressed with the portion size. She even had leftovers to take home, and she said they reheated really well. I've been searching for the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in the area, so I decided to order theirs. It's also available in a "Minnesota Nice" spice level, but I ordered the regular spice version. Overall, it was pretty good, but it's not the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich I've had. That said, it's probably one of the better ones in the area and MUCH MUCH better than Barley & Vine's version. I do wish it had been a little hotter because it really isn't that spicy. There's a little heat, but not much. As for the flavor of the sauce, I thought it was good, but I've definitely had better and I've certainly had worse. Overall, it's a solid sandwich, and I'd order it again. I got it with their fries and have no complaints there either. We sat outside since the weather was nice and really enjoyed the patio. The bugs were a little annoying, but there's only so much the restaurant can do about that. The service wasn't slow, but it also wasn't particularly fast. Our waitress was kind. Altogether, we ended up spending over $80 after tax and tip. It felt a little pricey, but we did order two appetizers, and my wife had salmon. There are definitely more affordable options on the menu, and considering what most restaurants are charging these days, I can't complain too much. One thing I can and will complain about, and it's partially why I deducted a star, is the 3% credit card fee. They're passing part of their overhead operating/processing costs on to the customer, on top of the higher menu prices we've all seen over the past few years. That's disappointing to see. All that said, I recommend this restaurant, and we'll definitely be back. The credit card processing fee is incredibly annoying, and while the Nashville hot chicken sandwich wasn't amazing, it was still good. The jumbo bacon cheddar chive tots are an absolute must order, and the staff has always been friendly.
