My family and I needed some overnight care for my 86-year-old grandmother. As a family we were…read moretrying to deal with it alone but it became very overwhelming for everyone. We called and spoke with the staff at Halo. They were very comforting to answer any of our questions. We spoke with the owner Adam about our insurance benefits. He was helpful andvery knowledgeable about long-term care insurance. We were very surprised about how quickly they were able to start the service. I called on a Friday at 4 PM The initial assessment was set at 6:30p. And by 7 PM they had a wonderful caregiver there to cover the overnight. She helped us organize and get my grandmother comfortable into bed. I realized that as a family we were way over our head and trying to provide care ourselves. Because our caregiver made everything that we were struggling with look very easy. Overall this is a wonderful business. And the caregivers are so very caring. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would not recommend this company for hospice services at all. I used them for 30 days and was…read moreextremely dissatisfied. I had to practically beg for incontinent supplies for my Mother every time she needed them. I asked for barrier cream and never did receive any. My Mother was placed in a assisted living facility at 3:00 pm and nobody from Season's even arrived until almost 9:00 pm. My Mother was supposed to be on oxygen and I did not know how to work the machine so she had none until the hospice nurse arrived. The hospital bed they got her was a joke, every time you raised the head up it was crooked. The mattress was very uncomfortable for her. Five days after she entered the assisted living facility she was having pain and I asked the med tech if she had been given any medication for pain. She said she didn't have any medication for her. My Mother is on blood thinners and sure enough she had not been given any for FIVE DAYS. This was a combination of the hospice nurse and the facility nurse not noticing. When I called the Season's nurse who told me "She would always have my back", I told her it surely didn't feel like it! When I changed hospice services she said she was sorry that they didn't meet my expectations - I hardly think they would meet anyone's expectations.

She's a shady and seedy person that only cares about money. She hires incompetent people who just want a roof over their head and food but doesn't want to care for your love one. My father developed pneumonia in one her homes that she would not provide heat in. And was served top ramen and 7-11 pizza and did not get 24 hour care. We have text messages from the caregiver telling us she will not call 911 after us asking her to do so since we live in California. My father died of pneumonia after 45 days in her care. I highly recommend for peace of mind about your loved one, as I was with my mom, INSTALL A VIDEO CAMERA! You'd be surprised the difference a camera makes! The food is less than mediocre and I was constantly bringing my mom food. Management is lacking in skills on how to handle a senior living facility. I was constantly bringing issues within the facility to managements attention, who I felt did not care.
