BHC is a very well run, responsive, personable, respectful, and conscientious business. They come when they say they will, do only what's needed, and provide fair value for their services. The workers are straight forward in their explanations, taking photo evidence of the roofing conditions to share with the home owner. They discuss what needs to be done right away and explain the options available, which is good to have if working with a budget. They follow up with reminders if the roof is coming due for maintainence which is a nice service. Outta sight, outta mind is human nature, so i appreciate the reminders for recoats, etc. The roof is not something to leave to chance, especially with the crazy weather experienced lately ( strong winds, hail, torrential rainfall, etc). I recently had a clogged downspout (from some tree debris) that was pooling water on the roof and BHC was out within a few days of my call. No job is too small when it comes to their customers. Unlike other better known (and highly marketed) companies that insisted that the strip was not repairable and would need to be replaced with a custom-made new piece to be installed on a separate appointment date, Bill was able to restore the piece to its original shape and secure it in place--all in less than an hour. In his work, Bill is honest, professional and incredibly reasonable. He literally saved me at least $400 for the bare minimum replacement cost proposed by other companies and just about double that if I had agreed to the "better" option of replacing additional stretches of flashing.
