Needed repair of some superficial bumper and door damage on my SUV. Tech came out the next day. He quoted a fair price and started work immediately. Other than needing an electrical outlet, the operation was self-contained. Spent about 2 hours. Repair looked fine but had a small concern about blending into existing paint. We let it dry for a few days to see if it got better. It did not and they came back. I thought maybe he would just polish to blend old and new areas. When I came out later, I found he had reshot the whole bumper. No more blending problem. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of paint matching. Very good. I dropped a star due to the fact it took two visits but kudos for response time and followthrough to achieve a quality result. read more

They tried very hard but Black is a very hard color to paint. I really believe they try to do a good job, but the bottom line is they fell very short. My headlights were damaged by the cleaners that they were using and also the paint on the fenders had to be color sanded They had a third-party come out to repair my headlights, and he left runs in the clear coat All I can say is if you're good with just OK then this will probably be a good fit for you Ralph left, saying this is the best they can do Well, they still have my $500 and I'm going to have to have my bumper painted by professionals I should've known better that there would be no way for them to control the dust Oh well, live and learn. read more

Sorry Bumper Buddies ... upon closer inspection of the painting done, I noticed tiny dirt and lint particles trapped under the paint on the horizontal sufaces. Tech Dave came back to buff out these defects, but many still remain. I recognize now that because the painting is done outdoors and not in a spray booth/clean room, you will inevitably get contamination. So the results will be about 90% of factory paint perfection, but with annoying trapped dust particles under close inspection, through no fault of the tech. If that does not bother you, you are good to go. Otherwise, just temper your expectations! read more

The technician did a great job fixing the paint on my car. Unfortunately there is a still a huge hole in my headlight. I'm not a mechanic otherwise I'd just be fixing it myself so when I was told "Repair and paint is about 375. Satisfaction Guaranteed! And we come to you." I figured that meant the headlight as well. I didn't really need a professional touch up, I needed to be able to drive without causing further damage to my headlight. I explained the misunderstanding and tried to make everything right with the owner but he refused to refund me more than $75. Just remember satisfaction guaranteed folks. I had a couple of license plate drill holes on the front bumper of my BMW 4 series that I've been wanting to get rid of when I contacted John via their free online estimate. He got me set up with Mike, who showed up at my work place, worked his magic and made my bumper look brand new! The entire process took about 90 minutes. The best part was that they got the job done while charging me almost $200 less than what my local body shop had quoted me($500 vs $325). Mike was also nice enough to take care of a minor paint defect on my Tesla on a separate occasion free of charge when he found out no paint or major work was needed! Talk about going above and beyond. Only thing to note is that make sure you have ample time in your schedule before making an appointment since they sometimes miss their appointment window due to them being so busy(not surprised given how well they get the job done). I made an appointment between 3-4pm but Mike didn't get to the location until 4:30pm. Bumper Buddies took care of the quote and scheduling (they let me know right away that my tech would be Mike) by text and the whole process took less than an hour. They were also flexible with scheduling.
