I've read people's complaints about this car wash but maybe they haven't taken the time to check out the competition. Yes, entering and exiting the wash can be tricky and if I owned this wash I would probably look at replacing that system with something that is less prone to problems. But with that exception this car wash is as good or better than any. I love the free use of the clothes to dry your car, I have always had to leave a bunch of rags in my car to dry with at other washes. What a hassle that was! They are exceptionally proud of their wash, if the monthly membership fees are any indication, but it beats the old hose and sponge method. read more

So I live really close to this car wash. I visit probably once a month since it opened. I have never had an issue till today. I returned there after an hour when I realized that the back of my car didn't get cleaned. I have never returned to ANY car wash to complain about Anything in the 30+years driving. But it was really dirty on the back window and back hatch and you can see where the brushes stopped on the sides of the car. Expecting them to run thru again I was told that the other parts of the car got clean so he can't allow me to run thru and for me to use the blue cloths on the side of the building. I explained that I had been there before with the same car and didn't have this issue So if you want 3 sides of your car cleaned this is definitely the place for you. I won't be returning read more

I have been a customer and supporter of Bumpers Car wash since they opened. However, when I got home today and looked at my car after a wash, it was still very dirty (particularity then hood) -- see photo. I was going to try to contact them directly before posting this review, but they do not offer an email address anywhere I could find online. Maybe something is wrong with their equipment? New truck damaged. Manager came out and claimed it was already there, my husband blew up photos on the phone and said so me where this is manager disappeared for a 1/2 hour never came back out!!! You can see where one of their brushes scrubbed down the side!! Awful service!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE A NEWER CAR! Actually any car! The manager/owner is corrupt and a jerk! New cars computer requires that you press the "brake" to go from neutral to drive before the transmission engages. The sign as you go in says "don't touch the brakes." Additionally, newer cars automatically put the parking break on when shifted to neutral. So at the end of the carwash tunnel it takes an extra second or two to put it in gear. Now the problem is they do not have a "sensor" like all other car washes to stop the line if a car takes an extra second or two or if a car stalls at the end of the line. EVERYONE behind them will keep going and push "every car" into the one in front, the driver is helpless, until some carwash squid happens to notices (if they do) and hit the emergency stop button. This is because you drive on to a "conveyor belt" and not a "tire roller" like most car washes. (You can use your break in that type of carwash and stop if the guy in front of you stalls or takes an extra second to pull off the line.) The manager was a jerk when a guy that was pushed into another guy said to call the police and that it was between the two driver insurance even though the carwash was at fault pushing his car into each other without stopping and they were helpless. He admitted that it happened before (probably many many times) and just blames everyone else. All they have to do is put in a damn $50. Sensor to his line. The guy that got his grill pushed in said, "Wow, the guy did not even offer to give me my money back for the carwash that pushed him into another car." I just started to go to this carwash and over heard the mistreatment of the customers and manager/owner lie that it was a helpless guys fault! Big red flag to me and I feel lucky it did not happen to me. I will never go there again! STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY GET THIS CARWASH FIXED and also a new manager! read more

Love this car wash and we are excited they are finally open. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the closed on Sunday thing. So odd, most people prefer the weekends to clean their car. Makes it a bit difficult for us as we work all week long and can only go Saturday's. read more

Why close Sunday's? Also need something for the undercarriage. I went through a couple times to get mud off the bottom and finally had to go to another car wash to clean all of it. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was in the car wash this evening and the vehicle in front of me had some sort of mechanic that does not allow the vehicle to go from neutral to drive without pressing the brake, the vehicle in front of me had stopped to do so and the track continued to push my vehicle forward. Due to having no sensor at the end of the track my vehicle was shoved into the other driver and I pushed him out of the car wash. I now have a newly aquired crack in my grill and had to pull the grill back out from inside my car. The other vehicle had no damages due to his tow hitch being the thing that my car had contacted, and I spoke with the other driver who had no idea that my car had hit his!! We then both went to the owner of the carwash and demanded that I be compensated for the damages done to my vehicle, because the carwash is ill equipped and continues moving vehicles when a vehicle stops at the end of the track, and the owner then blamed the other driver and told us that we need to call the police, have insurance involved, and that they will not handle the situation accordingly. The other gentleman then began trying to explain why the carwash was defective and the owner began yelling at the other driver (who is an older retired fellow) and told us to call the police and said good luck and walked away. Myself and the older gentleman will be cancelling our services due to this unprofessional behavior and conduct of the owner, as well as a defective car wash. I will follow up with this and tell everyone I know that uses this carwash to not come here unless they want to chance their vehicle being damaged, yelled at by the owner, and told to call the police. My nice car now has damages that I have to pay for myself. If there is a corporate number, I will be filing a complaint with them as well. read more

We are so excited to have this great car wash in Erie. We have been through three times and were extremely impressed with the wash. After going through the car wash we used the free vacuums, mat cleaners and towels to dry everything. Very impressed and excited to have in town! read more

This place does not take Apple Pay. I had to use a physical card and hand it to someone, which is extremely unpleasant, feels outdated, and is also not a safe thing to do. You need to add a contactless reader to your machines. It's 2020, there is no excuse read more

NEVER USE THIS PLACE Been a member of this car wash since they opened. Three cars at almost $100/mo. The wheel scrubber and polisher scratched our rims. Mentioned to management several months ago and they removed that feature from our service. All was good and we continued to use their service. This week the scrubber activated again (assuming a mistake by an employee). Asked to speak to a manager to get them to remove it again. The manager/owner (I think his name is Grant) walked up and immediately got defensive. Said it was "impossible" for that feature to damage the rims. He then accused me of lying saying that he had seen me drive into his car wash multiple times and hitting curbs. WRONG!! This feature scratched our rims. No damage going into the wash - damage when we came out. I took pictures to validate. Did not ask for a discount or other recourse. Only that that feature be removed. Shocked a small business owner would treat a long term, good customer this way. Obviously making so much money that customer service isn't necessary anymore. So long Bumber's Car Wash. read more

We have used other car washes throughout the years and this one is the best of the best. Have never seen another that provides a machine to clean your mats as well as shammy cloths to wipe your car! I know it is inconvenient for some to not be open on Sundays but appreciate their values! read more

I purchased the highest priced wash at the Bumpers on highway 7 on Erie. It did not seem that all parts of the car were being cleaned. Just before the exit, long pieces of cloth (or something) went over the hood, the windshield and across the top of the car. The windshield that had been clean was dirty with muddy water. I sprayed the windshield with my wipers and went home where I discovered that the front, back, wheels and lower panels on the sides were all dirty. I went back and the manager seemed shocked but could see the problem. He ran it through again. The wash stopped in the middle then restarted. The same dirty water was once again spread on the car. I pulled out and parked. I called him over and showed hime the dirt. His reply was that the brushes couldn't get at those parts. I asked for my money back but he refused. This is by far the worst automated car wash I have ever been through with a manager who doesn't care. read more
