The bar was full. We managed t o find a seat at the bar ordered some beer and Pizza. It was good. The bar staff were very busy and the people very friendly. I talked to several people who had cabins nearby, coming here most weekends. It's like a 'virtual' community of people from around the Minneapolis St. Paul's area. 2.5hrs drive away, like me, they roll up on a Friday night and spend there weekend here. He was delightful and made good bloody Marys and chasers for us and even tried to get Nascar on the tv for me but it actually wasn't on yet in the day but he was willing to try. Bar is very clean. They even have a quarter machine (like all bars in WI) which I absolutely love and you can even win a bottle of Moon shine if you are really lucky. The back patio looks very nice also. The bar area that we walked through seemed like a great place to gather and enjoy a cold beverage. My wife ordered the grilled shrimp and she said it was some of the best she has had in a long time. I ordered the t-bone steak and it was cooked the way I ordered it and came with a lot of Montreal steak season on it but it did taste just fine. Our server kept the kids drinks full as well as our beers full. Before we left we got to meet the owners and both of them where very nice and shared some information about their great smoked meats they're so proud of. We will be back to try this out as we don' t live too far away.
