As someone who deeply misses the taste of my Puerto Rican roots, this place brought me right back to the island--where food is more than a meal, it's a celebration of culture and love. I had the Tripleta sandwich and wow--every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly grilled and seasoned just like the ones from the food trucks back home. My wife had the arroz con longaniza y chuleta can-can, and she couldn't stop raving about it--crispy, juicy, and full of that authentic boricua sazón. I ordered a falafel wrap, and it was fantastic, crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. My wife had the fried cauliflower wrap, and even though she normally doesn't like Mediterranean food, she was blown away by how delicious it was, especially with the tahini sauce. We also got sides of garlic sauce and tahini, plus a tub of hummus to take home. The hummus was smooth, rich, and some of the best I've had. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes, which felt quick, though the owner kept apologizing as if it were taking too long clearly she cares about the customer experience. They also offer a call-ahead number, which is great if you're short on time. The menu has all the classics you'd expect at a Mediterranean spot, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. There are chairs and a picnic table right near the trailer that overlooks Cole's River. Bring cash although she takes electronic payments. We'll definitely be back and really hope this place sticks around for a long time. A true local treasure!
