Holy smokes this was so good. Chocolate donut sandwich, jelly, old fashioned glazed, vanilla sprinkles, jelly/ cream, cinnamon raisin bun. Made a detour here on our way to Battleship Cove. There were many more options I hope to try again soon. For anyone else who likes to try to local donut shops where they're at, this is a must try/ worth a drive. Wow. Leddy's Bakery...you are AMAZING. I cannot express this enough. My husband and I have had our eye on this place for a while but we have always fallen back to our go-to places. I wish we didn't wait this long...this bakery is perfection. On a Saturday morning, it was busy but the line moved quickly. We were prepared to taste a couple of donuts...but I was not prepared for them to be as amazing as they were. I expected subpar donuts. Absolutely not. These donuts are top-notch and rank near all of my favorite donut stops. And it's not just the donuts. Everything we got (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, Bismarck, cream pie, etc.) was exceptional. We got 2 boxes of items, all for $7. We literally had to ask if there was a mistake. They assured us it was correct and that all items were freshly baked in right that morning. Oh, yes they were. People love this place. You can tell there are plenty of regulars. Well, add us to that list because we will be back A LOT. These kinds of bakeries are always the best. I recently tried to place an order for pick up the next day. First the person that answered the phone hesitated then said yes I could place an order. Asked if I wanted a cake or pastry...told her at least both. Asked about the cake. Told her what I wanted.... I felt like I was having to pull the information out of her. Then I told her I wanted a dozen of donuts...she then told me I could only get a half dozen of one flavor cause "they are just too busy". Needless to say, I told her to forget my order. At this point I had little confidence the cake would have been done correctly. Maybe my spending at least $100 on a cake, donuts, pastry and other menu items isn't enough at Leddy's anymore. After getting lunch nearby we wanted a sweet treat. I read about their amazing donuts and wanted to have one of these real cream/raspberry jam field treats. I need to say it was one of the best donuts I've ever had in my life. The long she was perfect for having a blend of all flavors and every bite. It was definitely the best. Malasadas were available on Sunday morning, still warm and perfectly crisp. Service was super helpful and didn't make you feel rushed to choose, which is helpful when there is such a large amount of choosing to do! All of the donuts were very fresh, and super soft. The fresh cream donuts are not to be missed! Be warned they do sell out quickly on weekends. As a side note, I did get my wedding cake from here a few years ago and it was amazing. Busy little bakery. We stopped in for a treat and coffee recently. The right side of the establishment is the bakery. All kinds of treats, donuts, Portuguese bread, and lots of people seemed to be getting chicken pie (we'll have to grab one on another visit). The line was about 8-10 people long but moved quickly. We each ordered something ( I got a macaroon and my partner got an apple square, both very good) and brought them over to the left side of the store (which seems to be a different store inside the same store?) and ordered coffees to sit and have at the tables there. It seems they serve a full breakfast there and the ones we saw come out looked delicious! Overall we had a good experience here and we will stop another time to try more things there. read more

This is one of the best, best bakeries in Fall River and brings such fond memories of my Nana's house when I was growing up. Be sure to bring cash and ready to wait in a {semi} fast moving line. They are so affordable and offer an amazing selection. In the non-summer months they boast real cream pastries which are amazingly decadent. They have delicious donuts, and all sorts of pastries. Came here for a few pastries when my 2 friends and I were in Fall River a few months ago. We all opted to get a couple different varieties of their pastel de natas, and my friends got a couple of different things as well. They offered savory items, like sandwiches and traditional Portuguese dishes, but since we were getting lunch nearby anyway, we just stuck with the sweet items instead. The pastel de natas we got were pretty good. I like the ones with coconut on them, especially. Everything was so reasonably priced, though they are cash only, so bear that in mind if you happen to come by here. I ordered a cake for my sons first birthday. I told them it was golf themed and this is what they thought was acceptable. Once I got home I had to remove all of the frosting and redecorate the cake to be somewhat presentable. This place has gone down hill in a big way. Price of pies has gone up but the quality is WAY DOWN!!! Got a chocolate and banana cream pie for Christmas and the cream was all that was there. No filling. Not to mention the crust was soggy and soaked up the cardboard taste due to the used of cardboard over cake tins. Will never get pies there again. What a disappointment. Last weekend, I ordered a large bday cake, 2 dozen donuts, and 3 dozen mini pastries for a party. I sent someone to pick the order up. He gave his name, and they handed him the order. They forgot to give him the 3 dozen pastries. He was not aware of what he was picking up, so he assumed they gave him everything. When he got to the house and i saw they were missing , I called them. It was almost closing time. I told them what happened and let them know I'd now have to send someone in a UBER from portsmouth, RI to Fall River. MA to get them since my ride was already gone. Instead of apologizing or taking accountability , they immediately blamed the person who picked the order up by saying he was kind of confused about what he was getting. What? The order was under his name. All he should've done was give them his name, and they handed him the WHOLE order. That's THEIR JOB, not his. I was frantic since the party was about to start, so i had to pay $26 for an Uber to pick up $18 worth of pastries. They offered no compensation for their mistake. No apology, nothing. I would've even thought they'd throw in a few extra items or SOMETHING to make up for the $26 I had to spend for their mistake. And while I'm at it, I might as well mention the cake was sadly decorated! For a bakery, they need to have better decorators! I wish I had taken a picture of it to post! read more

I'm not quite an early breakfast sweets person but the pastries at this place looked so appetizing I couldn't resist! When I walked in, I was like a deer in the headlights, literally confused probably from the lack of sleep from an overnight, but also the way the cafe was divided. They had two sections of the cafe that were separated in their own little shops, one side was the dine in, coffee spot while the other side was like a bakery. As I walked in the staff immediately greeted me and asked me if I needed assistance and eagerly helped me with what I needed. I asked for suggestions and they provided. They suggested this long donut with cream and jelly filling, honestly was questioning it since I'm not quite a jelly filled donut type of person. This donut however was not what I expected, in a good way of course. It doesn't leave you with the heavy regrets of eating a donut like when you devour a Boston cream donut and feel sick after stuffing your face, i guess you can compare it to a cream puff, light and fluffy. I managed to eat the whole donut to myself when normally I'd share half. Definitely would recommend their pastries! read more
