Fast forward a few days later and I arrive for my appointment and was greeted by reception and Amanda was fabulous and made my first appointment easy. The MAs were great too. Then, I met the NP and it all went downhill from there. The NP has terrible bedside manner. I was met with a judging demeanor and was pushed to get on birth control and not even warned with any of the side effects and she didn't really care that I wasn't interested in it. Later she called me to give me my results and her tone was almost sarcastic , it really upset me. I think NP Brianna can use some lessons on how to treat patients with respect.

"Chemo will mop up the rest." So we went to Dr. Annekathryn Goodman at Mass. General. She took the rest of the ovarian cancer out. She is a meticulous surgeon and wonderful doctor. Think about it, I could have gone to Dr. Goodman and have done with it with one, that's ONE, abdominal surgery and chemo.

Not only is she professional and dedicated but I have been made to feel as though I am in excellent hands not matter what the situation has been from annual exams to in-house surgeries to delivering my first child. I cannot go on enough about the entire team at New England OBGyn and Dr. Monsein herself. Even though Dr. Monsein did not end up even delivering my child which initially made me nervous as I was so comfortable with her the two doctors from the practice who were on duty were outrageously phenomenal! Do I have to wait a while for my appointments, yes both in and out of the exam room. Does it bother me, no as there have been times when they have spent longer then originally anticipated with me at some appointments. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

I typically go to the Newton Corner lab (open until 4:15) but unfortunately, I went there and the lab lady took off early. The nice ladies at the front desk suggested I go to the 850 boylston office and I'm glad I did! When I arrived the waiting room was packed and they were so efficient getting thru everyone quickly. I didn't have to wait long at all!! Love the extended hours! Located on the first floor with limited parking! Best bet is to use the valet.

After doing a bit of research, I concluded going to Dr. Reilly would resemble the quality and care I received in Florida. I was completely wrong. He didn't listen to a word I was telling him. Instead, he dismissed my previous diagnosis and my surgery four years ago, calling my cramps stress related and it was a mere coincidence the successful laparoscopic surgery made me feel better. Luckily for me, in between his insults (hinting that I was a hypochondria), he called me a "pretty girl" or a "little girl." I've never met a doctor who made me feel so insignificant by dismissing my pain and discomfort. It was obvious to me he didn't view my history and current problems with any importance.

The OB office has scheduled me numerous appointments, given me a printout of the appointment, then I show up for the appointment and somehow I have the wrong day and time yet I have the printout saying I'm at my correct appointment. When I set up a babysitter and drive my very pregnant self over here, that's pretty frustrating to be told to come back tomorrow.. And it doesn't help the receptionist has a complete blank face when she says it. No apology or anything. The doctors are always behind which I get but they literally spend three seconds in the room so how do they run behind?!

Everyone from the security gaurd, to the receptionist, the counselor, and medical professionals performing the procedure and ultrasound made me feel extremely comfortable and calm throughout the process (which I will admit I was nervous about). If you are deciding whether or not to go to this clinic, I cannot recommend this facility enough and these individuals enough. I am grateful I chose here for this procedure.

So that's frustrating, but understandable, as I don't know of a doctor's office that actually sees their patients at their scheduled appointment time. Regardless, I'm a fan of my gyno. Her office is in the doctor's building at St. Elizabeth's, which is really at 11 Nevins St. So I'm spreading the word about my gyno. But she's worth it. Hey, I don't put my feet up in the stirrups for just anyone, now!

In addition, it has been so crowded in the waiting room that people sat on the floor!
