We tried a couple of different medications until we found what worked for me. Now I meet with him every 2 to 3 months to make sure everything is going well. The man is doing his job. No, he does not provide 45 minute therapy sessions, but he does have several psychologists on staff if that is what you need. That is not his job though. The complaints on here are really ridiculous. Yes, you have to pay your copayment. Shocking! Yes, you have to call if you were going to cancel an appointment! Shocking! If you are going to a psychiatrist for anger issues, picking a fight with the office staff is probably not the best idea. That was the funniest and sounds more like a sitcom episode plot than a real experience. He has an awesome car and takes very interesting international trips if you take the time to talk to him. The only thing I do not understand is how he gets away with still only doing telephone appointments in the year 2023. He has a beautiful office in Winchester. I wish he would use it. Otherwise, I would've given five stars.

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. Involved over-the-phone intake, then an in-person interview to provide context & hIstory. The tests themselves were a 3-4 hour affair, involving all manner of things, designed to test recall, association, sequencing, and various other cognitive capabilities. After the test, I returned for a followup to review the initiaL results & discuss any next steps. Throughout this, the staff were excellent & helpful, and Dr. Centi was warm, understanding, and answered all of my questions. The results of the testing were helpful, and give me an updated understanding of myself. Highly recommended if you are in need of cognitive testing, and I'm considering following up with behavioral therapy.
