When JoAnn closed (RIP), I figured I'd just buy crafting supplies online but it's been surprisingly difficult to find materials and even harder to buy them sight unseen. Craft Raccoon is like JoAnn's but better priced and you can actually feel good about shopping there because everything you buy is reused and saved from landing in a landfill. Plus, the owner of the store is so kind and helpful. I've learned a lot just through shopping there. But if you want to learn more, they also have really fun classes - like how to sew a fish bag or a class on spinning (i.e., turning wool into thread). Go check it out! You'll be glad you did!

They have a beautiful display of quilts and other crafty and household items in their two buildings. The store is located in the heart of Ohio's Amish country with lovely views of hills and farms.
