    Karaoke @ Buoy 12 on Friday @ 9pm w/ Mark...
    David R.

Hey, yo. I like this place. Not fancy shmancy at all, but just off Lake St Clair and these are my people. I primarily go for karaoke and the sound is good and you can usually get quite a few songs in where as some other places you might have to hang out all night just to get a couple in. They have a couple pool tables so you got that going for you. Doesn't seem to be a real active kitchen but there is one so you can get something if you want a bite. Like I said, for me it's the karaoke and the local crowd. You got it right, it's called Buoy12 because it's near 12 mile and Jefferson right near the water. Come out and have a drink and sing a song or two (karaoke Wed and Friday if I remember, but call to make sure). Come park yourself at the Buoy and hang with the locals!

I recommend the Flame Broiled and with it you get baked beans and potato salad.

The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.

I was really excited to try this place for the customizable burgers but was quickly disappointed…read more There was a beyond burger on the menu but they said they didn't have anymore. Also, we ordered a full order of onion rings but only got a "half order" because "this was the last of them." He did only charge us for a half order thankfully. It was around 4pm so we were confused as to why so much of their food had run out. The service was really friendly but the let down of the food was really really dissatisfying. The Mac and cheese was a really good portion and the food we got was good. There were a ton of games alongside the windowsill in case you want to play. It was such a nice touch. There was a pirate vibe which fit the name really well. They do flights and had a great variety of mixed drinks. For a night out, this place would be good! There's no automatic doors however there are no steps required to enter this place. There's two handicap spaces.
