    Metro Bus Stops

This station is a good connection point for Burbank and surrounding businesses. There are busses that head in to Burbank and Glendale and greater San Fernando Valley. You can get to Warner Brothers Studios and Universal Studios from here too. There are restrooms, ticketing kiosks, and even reserved bicycle storage. I think they should add bike and scooter rental drop off locations here so you can scoot into town easier. It's is fairly lit at night but as always I feel they could add brighter lighting for safety. Parking is kind of odd. There are a couple dozen spaces in a great location near the platforms but the main larger lot is on the other side of the overpass and about a half block walk. So allow time to walk over.

Alongside the 5 Fwy off Front St, just before Magnolia Blvd if heading northbound toward the shops, centers, and services of Downtown Burbank resides a truly easy Metrolink Station. I've only used this station for connecting services via the local LA Metro, however, it's never busy and has easy access for tickets, parking, and connecting to a lot of destinations not just in Los Angles but in a lot of SoCAL aka Southern California including Ventura County and the Antelope Valley. There are restrooms here as well as secure bike racks for the go greener-friendly types... Various shuttle services including that of Bob Hope/The Burbank airport. Did I mention the parking is free and overnight is allowed...Talk about a DTBK win!

Decided to give Metrolink a try to head to work in downtown LA. I used to take the Metro Red Line but since that train line is basically a homeless encampment and drug infested, I am driving farther to Burbank and taking this route. Metrolink trains don't attract as many derelicts since it's above ground, there's someone checking tickets so no free loading. Well, it wasn't bad. And I think time wise, although I drive farther, the parking to platform walk is much shorter and the number of stops is shorter so it takes the same amount of time. My only complaint is that there should be more security. It's desolate early in the morning and many folks like me head into the office early. This is what it looks like for the first train of the day. There were a few other people there so that helped. But there should be police presence at least until the sun comes up.

Very clean, plenty of parking, vending machines for the tickets and vending machines for food/drinks - what else do you need? I believe the train for Downtown LA leaves every 30 minutes - the round trip tickets are $7.50 - very convenient if you think how tricky the parking situation is in downtown The only "complaint" I have is that there was literally nobody to ask information to - I was taking the train for the first time and I could not find someone in charge, thanks god there were other people waiting for the train so I ask them!

Never thought of taking metrolink till I received FREE metrolink tickets from them. This could be a nice adventure! This station is not super busy. Easy to find a parking spot (free). There is a bike shop to store your bikes. Clean restroom. 4 tickets machines. I checked the time schedule first before I came and it was right on time! The train is super clean, with cold A/C, very comfortable ride! There are 2/5 levels. Lots of seating area. On the upper level, there are a few seats with table. Perfect for doing some work while on the train. Some of the seats are next to charging outlet which will be convenient for charging the electronics. Metrolink is more expansive compared to Metro. They charge $2 per every stop. However, it is faster and more comfortable. Will definitely try again when I am traveling to OC.

The Metrolink station; trains & busses, is fine. However, there are Downtown Burbank employees, called Ambassadors, whose job is to conduct homeless outreach as well as keep the grounds safe. There are 4 major areas of concern; social distancing & wearing a mask on the train platforms, do not allow smoking or feeding the pigeons. The smoking (tobacco & marijuana) is a chronic issue never addressed. (Humorous since both can be smelled as well as seen). No one is ever counciled for smoking, drinking alcohol, or urinating near passenger benches ... ever; only I have been spoken to & rudely I might add. The ambassadors constantly follow me around when there are other bus and train patrons. If I see the prohibited activity, why don't they? To date, 7 men have entered the women's restroom. Three of those men have been ambassadors. I have been harassed and followed into the bathroom and have been accused of lying or told it's not their problem to call the police; are you SECURity or not? Most of the time, with the exception of one fine fellow, the ambassadors can be found sitting down looking at their cell phones. There used to be Allied security guards who ran a tight ship. I say bring them back.

The Burbank Metrolink Station is nice and clean. I started with that because there are some transit hubs that are not clean, and if you are travelling and need to use the restroom, you might want to forget about it! But I can only speak for my own experience and I've never questioned whether I should use the facilities. Another plus for this station is that they have vending machines! Travelling and need a snack? Most hours of the day that is no problemo, however they do lock it up after a certain time and unlock it in the morning. I had some Doritos once and they were fresh. There are benches located every few feet and you can rest your tootsies while you wait for your train or bus. I've seen people dead asleep on these benches in the early morning hours but they are harmless. I've never felt unsafe. I'm usually here to hop on the local bus to get to work, but I have gone to Disneyland by train and bus with this station as my starting point. The train ride was fun for me because it was a new experience but there are a lot of serious commuters. I recommend knowing exactly where you are going and what you are doing because these people don't mess around. Overall there are lots of ways to get around from this station: MTA busses, trains, Local Blue Bus, and megabus! If this station if part of your commute then your worries are few.

This is the third time I've decided to not use the Burbank Bus in the past 3yrs. Below is a…read moredetailed list of what's been done to me in the past year: Driver L: I asked for the ramp & I was refused. Instead, she forced me to stretch my legs and strain myself to get on the bus. Then she said see I knew you could do it. I have severe mobility issues, a history of falling, and an access disable bus card. It doesn't matter to them. On several occasions this driver has watched me get up, once I do, the driver hits the brakes and I get slammed into the pole/handhold. Finally, 99% of the time this driver pulls up too far from the curb, loading & unloading. All drivers cater to the people taking the train in to Burbank then bussing it to their job. The drivers wait for said working class until 5 minutes passed takeoff time. But they won't wait for me. On several occasions they have left me even though I wave my hand for them to wait. Additionally, all but 1 driver pretend not to see me then at the last minute pull over, same for dropping me off, going past my stop. All of them ask me where I'm going but no one else. They also don't wait for me to sit down. And when I board the working class or non-disabled sit in the priority handicap seats; not offering me a seat & the driver says nothing either. Also, I've been asked to get off the back which is street level not curb level so their working class can load in the front. There are 2 passengers that continually harass me once I load by rubbing & touching themselves. Driver L told me last week that their passengers can do whatever they want to me as long as they say nothing; but one passenger did called me a terrorist. Driver J: has yelled at me, passed me by, stop 2 feet from the curb loading & unloading but not to anyone else. He refuses to let me sit after I tap my card. Driver C & L stop the bus at my stop then as soon as I stand, grab my bags, & start to walk up the aisle they put the bus in motion almost causing me to fall. I have called & called the switchboard but nothing happens but fallout. Why am I treated this way? I don't work, I'm retired I am homeless I am a senior All of the above is discrimation [reported] as they choose who they're nice, too!!

The layout is beautiful though not as wide in platform size as the South AV or many other Metrolink Stations in Southern California. Plenty of terminals close by if you need to purchase a boarding ticket, you can also purchase online on your phone or through their app or send a digital ticket to your phone. Note: I agree if not a local or frequent train rider you can get turned around as this station is off the beaten path and more North of the local airport. The South location is direct across from the Bob Hope Burbank Airport whereas this spot is a few blocks past it... So it would be a walk, but a short rideshare ride down. I'd imagine a local shuttle or bus might link near this station, but if you have luggage (plural) you might consider an Uber or Lyft.

There is a Throne bathroom that was recently installed so you can use the restroom. There is also a large parking lot so you can pay for cheap parking and then ride the metro to your desired destination. Presumably hearing the complaints of the public asking for a safer transit experience so that more people in our city are likely to make use of public transport, Metro has decided to add in a frankly absurd number of "metro security" whose job it is to harass the general public. I was sitting on a bench downstairs in the station (having already tapped in and paid!) waiting for my friends to arrive so we could ride together. My friends were delayed due to traffic and I was approached by one of these "security" (and I do mean to use the term loosely) who told me that I was being kicked out of the station as I had been sitting there for 15 minutes without getting onto a train. I explained that I was waiting for my friends and that they would be arriving in the next 15 minutes but were delayed and this "security" employee outright told me he did not care and that I was kicked out. When I obviously came back 10 minutes later with said friends, I pointed him directly out to my friends and all of a sudden this "security" ducked his head and tried to hide. Seeing as how this is how they treat me, I can only imagine how awful they must be to others they view as beneath them. Truly an insane experience that I have never ever had before for all my years of riding.
