Following some shenanigans with a different shuttle service, I reached out to Xpress Shuttles and spoke with Jackson, about my need for a next day shuttle for 5 people and ALOT of luggage. While Jackson did not have availability for the next day, he found a different company to handle our shuttle needs. I was contacted an hour later by the driver to confirm our reservation, and provided a contact number for any customer service needs. The driver arrived 10 minutes early the next day (with free bottled water) and delivered us to LAX promptly. Would highly recommend this company to others and will use in the future. read more

Upon recommendation from a cruise enthusiast community, we booked Xpress Shuttles for a cruise out of San Pedro, picking us up at Orange County International airport. The reservation process was easy and Leah was helpful and very responsive. I booked Xpress for a one way from LAX to Upland just a few days beforehand. I explained to them that we would have LOTS of luggage and a service dog, they reassured me a mini-van should be sufficient. I got an email confirmation a few minutes after and also the day before my travel. A few hours before my flight, I received another confirming text from my driver, Drake. I also rec'd an email with my receipt the day of travel after our drop off. As someone who plans everything, these confirmations were VERY reassuring. Our flight was a bit delayed but as soon as we got our luggage (all 7 checked pieces -yikes! We were gone for a LONG TIME) I text Drake and made our way outside. Drake showed up and after some luggage tetris, we made it all in the van and we were on our way. Drake was a GREAT driver!!! Extremely friendly, talkative and a safe driver. We TRULY appreciated that he had the AC on and it was a comfortable temperature. So many drivers do not have it on or cold enough, this was a big plus for us! We all talked the entire way home and shared some stories. Would we book again? YES, although we do not use shuttles very often. End-to-end reliable service. I'm a first-time customer. Drop off and pick up, - all on time. It was also worry-free because of timely communications. Booking started with Leah, she was competent and welcoming. Got both women drivers, they were both pleasant, helpful, and safe drivers too. For the short distance I booked, I thought this was a pricey bit compared to Uber or Lyft. But I liked that my ride to and from the airport is something I didn't have to worry about, it's waiting for me ...I didn't have to wait for them. Do not use this company! I had a reservation for a pick up at an airport. Paid $145. The driver never showed up so I called their emergency line. I told them I would like to receive a refund and I already called an Uber. Got an Uber XL for $67 which was a lot cheaper than what I paid with Xpress shuttles. Not a testament to the drivers, but to the person who answers the phones and communicates on behalf of the company - Leah. I called to get a quote to the airport. I know Xpress Shuttles had increased their rates when LAX started having uber drop offs outside the airport. When Leah answered the phone, she asked me to wait and I could hear a car door ding. Ok, some people are still working from home, but the car? Moving forward - I asked what the rate is to LAX. She informed me that there had been an increase. I asked if this was an additional increase? Leah told me that it was recent, but I know the last increase was Jan 2020, so it didn't seem too recent, making me think there was another change. When I asked how much the rate was, she again didn't answer and seemed to be discouraging me more. She said that I would need to wait for a rate because her computer froze and she had to reboot. Seemed that there was a stalling for time because she wasn't actually near the computer. After she "booted the computer," she told me that the rate was $110. And, because I was asking about a holiday, she said it would be $130. I understand the surcharge for a holiday, but was a little sticker shocked at the $110 since the last time I traveled it was $65. When I mentioned this she said that she had worked there for years and the rate has never been $65. I felt this was getting really petty and was defeating the purpose. She then said, "I have all of your information right here and I can look it up." By this point I was shocked at the audacity of her assuming I was lying. She finally stated, "the last time you drove with us was December 2019 and your rate was $65." After confirming that in fact I was correct, she proceeded to chastise me, yelling at me, and after not being able to say anything I simply hung up. No one needs that kind of abuse. She actually called me back! She told me that my hanging up on her was rude, which was ironic since the entire process of the phone call began with her being rude. I explained that she was yelling at me and that I was calling to give the company business, not to be mistreated. She began yelling at me again, so I told her that I was hanging up that time. She called me back again! My shocked husband who could hear yelling at me in another room took the phone call this time. She hung up on him. This happened about two months ago. Sorry for the delay, people get busy. Unfortunately, poor customer service leads to a loss of business. read more

I would give a zero rating if I could. I was booking my third trip with them when I called and spoke to Leah asking questions and she was rude and seemed bothered with my questions. I was asking for clarification and she kept saying "I told you this", "Didn't you hear my message". I thought I was going to receive good customer service, but I did not. First I'll say that I had a good experience with this company when I used them back in March. My driver, Anthony, was great. However, I had a horrible experience with a different driver, Sean Kostabi, this past Saturday. In my reservation notes, I specified that I would really appreciate if the driver wore a mask, as I have been very cautious throughout the pandemic and am visiting high-risk relatives. I was also under the impression that the company was still requiring masks, based on messaging on the website, in the confirmation email, and even right here on this Yelp page. However, when Sean met me at the airport, he was not wearing a mask, and initially refused to wear one when I asked. He actually said to me "The pandemic has been over" (which any intelligent person would know to not be true), and acted as if I were from another planet when I asked him to please wear one, as I have been very cautious to not catch COVID and have a high-risk family. He finally put on a flimsy cloth mask that he had in his bag, which was of course falling halfway off his face by the end of the trip, and did agree to keep the windows open, which I appreciated, however his frightening and dangerous attitude from the get-go had already ruined my trip. It's not my problem if your drivers want to pretend COVID doesn't exist and get infected themselves over and over, but I don't think it's too much to ask to have them agree to wear a mask for a paying customer while in close quarters inside a car, and to treat them with respect. The experience was upsetting, extremely awkward and disturbing. Will not use again. read more
