Today Friday May 30, 2025, I made a quick stop to this facility to get some copies of past info, and I had the pleasure of chatting with Lina. She was extremely helpful with my many requests. She also provided me with not only copies, but a disc. I have the upmost respect for ALL the front office staff. You're always greeted with a friendly smile. I've been coming to this facility for close to a decade, and I always feel like a family member, I love it. I noticed that Some of the staff have moved on, but with each new staff member, I'm still treated with respect and kindness. Many of us are afraid and nervous for our results, but the technicians and doctors are so supportive. I had been here before (something unrelated) So I was aware of how small the waiting area is (more patients than seats mostly) and how the front desk staff is. I am sure they have a lot going on charts, files, faxes etc but never once have I been able to speak with ANYONE when I call and leave a voicemail. The front desk isn't informative enough when you're signing in. Kinda just awkwardly waiting then they tell you to sit. The staff for the mammogram is awesome (a young lady with an accent). She was very kind. Very informative and asked for my consent. I also had to get an ultrasound and that went well too.. then was progressed to needing a biopsy. When coming in for the biopsy, ofc they talk about the procedures and after care ; they are they also are thorough and mention how they will literally leave a micro mass-marker / clip incase future tests have to be done. I would have preferred a FEMALE radiologist for comfort. Men don't know how terrible that mammogram machine is with all the pounds per pressure when it sandwiches my body part. Also , I don't feel like the action was truly behind him saying "this shouldn't hurt too much " .. kinda had the I can't relate feel to the bedside manner. Egregious incompetence. I was told I had one 7 cm fibroid and a cyst on my right ovary. When my new doctor reviewed and repeated the imaging, it turned out I actually have two fibroids--one 8 cm and one 5 cm--and no cyst ever was present. They literally mistook a fibroid for a cyst. Not to mention that they did the scan incorrectly the first time and I had to come back twice just get what was originally ordered. What's especially concerning is that this office claimed the "cyst" disappeared on a follow-up scan, when in reality it appears the second fibroid was simply missed the first time and missed even worse the second time. Missing an additional large fibroid feels like a serious oversight. Based on my experience, I would not consider this facility reliable for accurate diagnostic imaging. I'd strongly recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere. In summary, are you kidding me? you fn incompetent a-holes? You could delay someone enough that it affects their outcome fatally read more

I received an update from Burbank Breast Care Center stating that a supervisor/manager would reach out to me. Unfortunately, that was about 22 days ago and have yet to hear from anyone. They refuse to give me access to my medical records from my appointment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Based on California and federal law, I have the right to my medical records, and a healthcare provider cannot withhold them. I am filing complaints with both the federal government's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and the state Medical Board of California. read more

I do not recommend this place. Showed up a second time because they rescheduled my first appointment and didn't validate my parking even tho it was their choice to have me come back. Knowing women hate having these in the first place. I show up again for a second appointment, only to have a them tell me now they need previous records! They knew it was my first time with them so why the chaos at the time of appointment! During my wait for the exam they are more concerned with previous mammograms than to have you get care the day/time of your appointment. Terrible management! The worst care I've ever received. It's impossible to speak with someone in the actual Burbank office to get records before surgery. The person in the call center in medical records could not confirm the actual address for my doctor, even tho I gave it to her Multiple times. Nit being able to speak to someone in the office where I had a mammo & ultrasound before surgery was beyond frustrating. Radnet Breastlink is an inefficient, cumbersome company. I appreciate the effort and the scramble to get me seen before I left the country for months. Given that this is not the first time administrative errors were made, I'm reluctant to keep BBCC as my first stop for mammograms and ultrasounds. But I do need to acknowledge that they came through in the end.** Wow, twice now these people have wasted large swaths of my time, screwed up my appointments and authorizations, been unresponsive to phone calls or messages, and botched scheduling and referrals. The doctors and techs seem skilled and compassionate, but the absolutely terrible incompetent customer service, communication and front desk staff make this place unreliable at best. Just done with my yearly mammogram at this facility and I'd just want to gave a compliment to this front desk staff name AMANDA. She's so very nice and sweet. She greeted you with a smile and get an interaction right away with the patients. Highly recommend this place to All the patients that need their yearly mammogram. Great place and great service. I also want to gave a compliment to the technician that did my mammogram her name is NIKKI. Very nice and very friendly staff. She explain clearly to me how the process was and make me comfortable and at ease while doing my mammogram. All in all this Burbank Breast Care Center was the Best place. My mammo and ultrasound were done professionally at this location and I found out a biopsy was needed. They couldn't fit me in within a reasonable amount of time so I booked somewhere else for the biopsy. Burbank office never answers their phones, so I couldn't reach someone to cancel my scheduled appt. Then the new doctor wanted to see my medical records and I have tried twice to call Burbank for this because they were not able to be viewed on the online portal. I have waited over an hour both times and no one ever answers the phone. No one called me back when I left a voicemail. This place is impossible to deal with. They need to revamp their front office and answering system if they want to keep patients coming back. read more

The staff of knowledgeable, professional and i might add , beautiful and caring women throughout...from check in to waiting for the exam...the exam itself...they ALL were amazing! The one star is specially meant for the mammogram technician named JILL. I've been coming here for routine mammogram for many years and never experienced this kind of pain! I consider myself having moderate to high pain tolerance and she clearly didn't care when I told her go easy on machine when it started to hurt as she kept pushing down when she could have done it manually when the machine was already pressing down on my small breast. No empathy whatsoever!!! Afterwards, I was told I needed to get ultrasound because of the lump they found and the ultrasound technician, Stephanie, was the exact opposite of the woman that did my mammogram. She was very nice and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I give her 5 STARS! Front desk staff always wonderful 5 STARS! Parking is a rip off but no choice since no street parking available and always full. Overall, I'd still come here since it's the closest one in my area. read more

Came here today for a check up mammogram and while I wasn't happy to drive all the way to burbank from Westwood (per availability), I was pleasantly impressed with the lovely staff!! Just totally lovely! A woman named Greenberg helped me, she was lovely. All the staff were professional and sweet and lovely. I came in for a Bone Density exam on December 11, 2024. I was told it could take up to 10 days for the results to be sent to my surgeon. I am not sure what their normal turn-around time is to send results, but that seemed a bit ridiculous to me. Well, it is now 16 days later and both my doctors office and I have called to have the results "expedited." The woman I spoke to was kind enough, but I don't have a clue why it takes this facility SO LONG to send scans to a requesting physician's office. It is absolutely absurd. They have now held up a procedure of mine just waiting for information to be shared. I would NEVER recommend this place in a million years for someone needing information in a reasonable time frame. read more

Don't come in early! I made my appt for 9:45 and was in the office by 9:15. I completed all my paperwork and sat and waited and waited. At 10:00 I asked the receptionist why everyone who came in after me had been called. She went to check and came back and told me that my appt was for 10:10. I showed her my confirmation saying that my appt was for 9:45. She said, oh, they tell you earlier so that you have time to do your paperwork. This is the second time this has happened to me where I waited and waited while everyone went in ahead of me. Don't send me a confirmation for 9:45 and then tell me it's actually 10:10 when I get here just to get me in early. Parking is $2 every 15 mins and you don't validate! read more

One of the worst medical care facilities I have been to. And this is based solely on the interaction with the staff. The staff was terribly unprofessional. I arrived on time for my 7:50 appointment. There were several ladies behind the desk, complaining about a coworker sick call and talking badly about said coworker all while ignoring the 8 or so people in the waiting room. I wasn't even acknowledged and checked in for my appointment until 8:15. If the first appointment(s) of the day are this behind, I feel bad for anyone else going there today. Once I was summoned for my procedure, the technician asked if I was wearing any garments with metal, I needed to remove them. She promptly left the room for me to undress, not even offering me a gown! So there I was in a cold room waiting for the technician to return in my underwear and a t-shirt. Talk about uncomfortable. When she came back she said "oh, I don't have any full gowns in here but here is half gown" (basically a shirt). Hope I never have to return to this facility. read more

Get ready to be told to arrive to your appointment 20 minutes plus before hand and then you will be ignored and given attitude by the front desk until at least 40 minutes after your original scheduled appointment. By the time you are ready to lose it and leave they will finally call you back along with 12 other people and make you wait again in the back. After this incredibly rude and uncalled for experience, you will be told that they do not validate parking and you'll end up paying $16 for a crappy lot....right behind the place where I'm sure they make money also. read more

When you come into the reception area of BBCC, there's a banner with the word HEROES in large letters, saluting and appreciating the work force there. And I, for one, couldn't agree more. I'm a 60-something that went in for an annual mammogram on 5/6/25. By 5/8/25, BBCC notified me, both by phone and email, that I now needed a diagnostic mammogram. I thought that was pretty darn fast. In fact, it took longer to get the referral for the diagnostic mammogram than the appointment BBCC booked for me for it. After the diagnostic mammogram a week later, I met with the radiologist doctor, who then informed me a stereotactic biopsy was recommended. This morning, I just had that stereotactic biopsy. It was completely professional, with joking and great banter amongst us; making it a little more comfortable. My boob hurts, but that was expected. I anxiously await the results. I just wanna say that EVERY SINGLE PERSON that works there treated me with dignity and respect, and sincerely cared for my well-being. They are absolute HEROES, just like the banner says! Now, let's just hope those calcifications are not cancer! read more

I came in on October 14th, 2024 for a breast biopsy. Parking is super expensive, so be prepared for a $20+ ticket-- I'd bring my debit/credit card if I were you. I just recently turned 29, so I was really nervous and was definitely the youngest person in the waiting room, which was VERY crowded. I barely had to wait though-- within five minutes, I was escorted to the back to change. Since I am so young, have medical/surgical trauma (I am prone to anesthesia awareness) and the matter of breast cancer was already nerve-racking enough, I asked if I could bring my fiancé with me, who's been by my side for every appointment and procedure as my advocate. Unfortunately, he was not allowed to go into the biopsy room with me and hold my hand through it because of women *possibly* changing in a completely secluded area separate from the biopsy room (I was the only one in the changing area, for the record.) I wasn't so happy about that-- my fiancé was FURIOUS. Maybe bring a blindfold so you can lead your moral support in. I was under the impression that I would change into a gown and get my biopsy done in the same room as all of my past appointments elsewhere have done, but the office is more like a rotary sushi bar for breast care (sorry-- only way I know how to describe it!) so you don't have to worry about getting lost or not knowing where to go. You're escorted to a changing area in the middle with lockers, and my amazing ultrasound tech (who honestly became my breastie bestie during this visit ) waited outside for me to change. Then she escorted me to the room where I'd have my breast biopsy done. She took the time before the surgeon came in to perform an ultrasound of all of my tumors (I have three) and point out where they were to me, since I didn't know where the other two were. We joked and laughed to keep spirits up in the room, all things considered. I was thrown off when a male surgeon walked in (I think his name is Dr. Timothy Carmody.) Due to having been sexually assaulted/raped multiple times in the past by men, I always ask for a female doctor. I was VERY uncomfortable and nervous at first, but Dr. Carmody was actually very kind, gentle, and knowledgeable, giving me answers to every question I had and keeping me distracted with jokes and asking about my interests. Overall, both my ultrasound tech and surgeon had the BEST bedside manner, and I would absolutely request both of them in the future. They put Steri-Strips on my breast biopsy wound once they were done, and while I'm allergic to most adhesive and always end up with dermatitis (I did this time too) I found that the Steri-Strips REALLY helped reduce the scarring I had-- it's currently a little more than two months post-biopsy and there's no major scarred tissue/bump. It's a darker pink color but so small that it's not noticeable. I'm sure in the next year with more healing and fading, the scar will be even more unnoticeable. They'll say to keep the Steri-Strips on until they fall off-- it might take weeks, it might take a month or more. But just do it. You'll thank yourself later when your scar ends up completely flat and incredibly tiny. The results were sent to my now-former OBGYN within 24 hours of me getting the biopsy done (it took 11 days for her to actually relay them to me over a 36-second voicemail and over two weeks to post them in my Providence chart, but that's another review.) Overall, I'd highly recommend the Burbank Breast Care Center. The staff is absolutely incredible, so caring, and on top of their game. I only took off a star for the parking situation and the fact that I couldn't have my fiancé in the private biopsy room with me. read more

They canceled my appt I made over 3 months prior with no explanation - via text message. They couldn't even call me on the phone and follow up or explain. Then I called the office to find out what was going on only to be put on hold and no one answered for over an hour. As much as we pay for insurance and co-pays for appts you would think one could receive at least a proper phone call w/ an explanation. I've filed a complaint with my insurance provider and I will also be filing a complaint with the department of managed health care for the state of California. I suggest anyone who's had a negative experience with any medical office to do the same. read more

Very dissapointed in this place. The ladies at the front desk rudely talk to each other ignoring the patient. The ultrasound tech was very rough. They never gave me the results from my mammogram and ultrasound. They were supposed to contact my previous healthcare organization to get results from my mammogram two years prior to make a final report. Two weeks have passed and no word. I had the worst and most painful mammogram appointment so far the other day and wish I'd never booked at this radnet location. The wait was long, the waiting room chair layout makes no sense, my tech was super curt with me and I think forgot to brush her teeth that day. And to top it all off, she accidentally tweaked my super sensitive nipple before clamping those plates down harder on my breast tissue than I've ever experienced before. read more

I was able to make a same-day appointment for a mammogram by calling in the morning on a Friday (I was routed there by Marcia Ray Breast Imaging). I filled out my pre-forms online, which helped to adjust the check-in time (so that I could arrive 10 min later). Upon arriving, the front desk staff Rose Marie was friendly and professional. She checked that my pre-forms were complete and I was called within 5 min of waiting (pleasantly surprised). After changing, I was called within 1 min (again surprised!) The technician Agatha put me at ease and was helpful in guiding me through the process. Few street parking available; parking structure/lot had plenty of parking but it is $2 per 15 min. My appointment was in the morning and went very fast. Everyone here is very kind and helpful. Clean facility. The procedure is painful by itself but technicians are very patient and understanding. I had a great experience. No long wait time on the day of appointment but generally took 3 weeks for making this appointment, but everywhere else was the same even UCLA was giving me appointment for next year which was 8 month wait! I can't complain about the mammogram itself. It hurts no matter what location I choose. It's uncomfortable I have small boobs so I hate it. I went here for a mammogram. I was not looking forward to my appointment at all. However, the staff here are excellent. I walked in the wrong direction when I Walked out of the parking garage and was having trouble finding the building. I called and one of the women at the front desk was so nice that she came outside to meet me and show me where to go. The woman that performed the mammogram was extremely friendly and made an uncomfortable procedure not uncomfortable at all. I Highly Suggest going here for your mammograms. read more

Went to have the girls squished amongst the coronavirus pandemic. Surprisingly I was able to make a same day appointment and get in and out with no problem. The staff was very friendly. The waiting room was empty. Clean. And had signs for physical distancing. The technician was friendly and had the job done, lickety-split! My results were sent to my doctor's office the next day!
