Came here to this store to look for gift for my girlfriend. I was trying to take photo to show my GF and this Chinese sales associate said you can't take photo and give me attitudes! This Chinese associate is Very unprofessional! I was like #%{*+} When my GF asked me to look their keychain , I went to front counter to look for keychain and the American Sales Associate was friendly and helpful, he was ok to allow me to take pic for my GF to see! People if you shop here, if you see Chinese Sales Associate in the store , stay away from them, they look down on you! read more

Yesterday was the worst experience I've ever encountered coming to this store. The way I was treated was unacceptable, nobody but I mean NOBODY was able to help me just because I was speaking Spanish. I come to this store 2 to 3 times a month and I ALREADY KNOW who speaks Spanish and who doesn't, so for everyone to sit there and act like they don't understand me really frustrated me! And to top it of , a tall gentlemen that was In charge told a girl that helped us REMEMBER THE RULES! NO SPEAKING SPANISH. I was in complete shock!! Wow. Hands down awesome service. Meet and greet with an individual names Lily. Wow. We had walked into the store and greeted. There was an individual we asked for help with an item but was quick to nod us off because she was concerned more about looking at the mirror and fixing her long black hair then helping us out. Lily took the extra mile to cater to our needs and went the to grab a new wallet in the back rather than selling us the display wallet. On top of that she mentioned how if you spent $600 you got 20% off so we decided to send our sister back because she ended up purchasing a bag and a jacket later on. It only let literally only 2 parties in the store at once for no reason because the store footprint is HUGE! It really doesn't make sense. 3 employees just stood there and did nothing. There are barely any shade to wait in line. Make sure you packed the same stuff as you would go on a hike or go to Disneyland. I was extremely shocked to see the line just to get into Burberry. I think I may have come at a bad time because their purses and wallets looked outdated. There was not a lot to choose from either. There were six areas mainly for purses and wallets but they were all the same style. The store looked like a herd came in, looked through the bags, unorganized everything and left. I did, however, like their clothing selection. The discount prices were not too shabby either. I love their winter clothing. One day, I will buy a trench coat! I should suggest they have a 60% off sale. Then, maybe the splurge on a seasonal item may be worth it. read more

I own one item with the trademark Burberry plaid, which was a gift. I own very little Burberry, in fact, but the pieces I do are from the Prorsum line, so there's no tartan to be seen, and I prefer it that way. If I am to be rad in plaid, it's McQueen and Westwood. Or anything Paul Smith. However, when you are thrown into an unexpected snow/sleet/storm in the desert with no warning and you've packed accordingly, this is not such a bad place to go to avoid a Donner Party kind of situation. Which, if you're based in the Bay Area has a haunting history to it; check your street names, institutions of higher learning and military science. Aside: When you become a parent, or if you are one, answer all the questions your progeny pose to you, even if it makes you crazy. If you don't, it will make them certifiable - I Yelp before you as living proof. I digress. Though that is a Truthful Tangent - file it away if you like. Okay - Donner Party, inclement weather, oh, yeah: I imagined the staff running through the store just as the weather turned, frantically removing Additional 25% and 50% discounts from the rain gear, wells, umbrellas, coats and all manner of warm layers before opening for business. It did feel like a crummy rummage sale, (less two deeply discounted items I did purchase: one a gift; the other a Kermit the Frog Green wallet, as I tend to brutalize mine all to quickly.) Raised in a family of 7, and raising a Cadet of my own, I've am familiar with infant, toddler and the behavior of children in general. On this visit, however the floors were slick with rain, the roof was leaking and a bunch of unattended kiddies (those of the Asian Persuasion in particular) ran shrieking through the store while both parents were deeply engrossed in pawing through merchandise. Now: I'm not the kind of cranky, sleep-deprived, freezing kind of gal who would actually... coincidentally need to stretch my leg at the same moment a child of three or four let a spine-shattering scream upon running (again, coincidentally) behind me and hitting the floor. That would be wrong. But I thought about it. A lot. A lot. A lot. Accidents like that happen all the time when negligent parents abandon their children to obsess over scarves, bags and trench coats. Statistically speaking, how could it not? This time around, there were very large coats, tons of umbrellas and the Look At Me! Look at Me! I'm wearing Burberry coats, though I did spot some very nice deep berry hued jackets, that still have the unfortunate labeled lining but aren't so... obvious. The other thing that I don't love is how crowded and jumbly lookie-loos leave things. The seasons are intermingled; the tie section may say "25% off select items - discount taken at the register" and I don't like vagueness in a retail setting. I know - I'm neurotically picky and totally aware that it's an outlet situation... But I still wonder why they can't implement a "You Must Be THIS Tall to Enter" sign and have a stroller valet. Tiger Mothers, this is not a good place to bring your toddlers who could *legitimately* slip, trip or fall - especially when it's raining. If your dude got rained out of his golf game or if the weather is perfect, work in shifts, please. Thanks ever so much! read more

The store is huge and quite popular depending on the days you come on. At any popular outlet store, you really have to know what you're looking for or at least an idea. This store has plenty of helpful associates that can help you what you're looking for, so get some help, start shopping, and get out! Tip: Ask what's new? What's on sale? Best deal? Most popular items? You can't control other shoppers, especially when they're foreigners...prepare to be annoyed with rude shoppers with no common courtesy. Luckily, the sales associates are plenty and friendly....happy shopping! read more

Honestly it felt like we were not wanted in the store. Right when we walked in no greeting and it wasn't even that busy. I just see people standing around. I was looking for sunglasses for my mom, and had asked one of the employees. They didn't carry any in this store. The vibe was off in the store, felt like everyone was just miserable. read more

If there is any single devastating agent that could dismantle the Burberry name, that has for decades been carefully marketed as a luxury brand of taste and refinement, this store would be that red button. The ruin of this brand lies in two places. The store and the shoppers who frequent it. I admit, I'm not above a hair pulling sales table at a Barney's warehouse sale, but this store is plain dysfunctional and somehow manages to reduce the quality of merchandise to resembling something you find in Santee Ally when the cops aren't looking. Displays look like off-track tornado did the arranging. Clothes lay in rumpled piles. Dressing rooms are comparable to a roadside fast-food chain on a holiday weekend. What I did manage to find often had ripped seams and a missing parts, from what I imagine were the over zealous and grabby hands of foreign teens binge-shopping... still heady from the exhaust fumes of their respective tour bus that ferried them to this no man's land. Wait for the sales at regular retail stores- there are no bargains here, unless you are from a country that has exorbitant luxury import taxes. read more

I love burberry but this place has really outdated stuff. if they have any left of course. the line is usually out the door, and i dont get what people are even buying half the time. The customers are very pushy almost hostile, i mean cmon people relax. the people who work there are usually really nice and helpful. but they really need to start updating their stuff. read more

I'm sad to skew the data collected from the few Yelpers, but this place is not just messy, it also lacks customer service. I've walked in multiple times and have come to some rationalization that I never expect to be asked for help. I see shoes lying on the floor and "expensive" 200-300$ shirts lying on the floor. Am I really looking for a bargain here? So I might save some money, but maybe I have to deal with the fact that possibly hundreds of people have run their hands over it and the likelihood that particular article of clothing may have been cleaning the floor earlier! I love the idea of a Burberry outlet, but it hasn't really panned out for me. I might have gotten a tie here once, but in general, the bags and coats are from past seasons and not the typical Buberry "classic" that I would want to spend my money on (cuz while the outlet stuff is a tad cheaper, still expensive for lil' ol' me). Each time I go in, I have to try on a trenchy. I know I'm not going to buy and I tell the person helping me I can't get it today, but there's always tomorrow..... You're not going to get a lot of $$ knocked off for men. Sometimes nothing for men is on sale. But they do have great sales for woman. Too good of sales really. First things first, ask for Daniel. He was amazing!!! He was patient with my indecision of purchasing a trench for my mother in law. He was not pushy and very helpful. Going above and beyond for all my Burberry needs! Ended up purchasing two wallets. Discount wasn't that big but much better then retail. I am sure it's a great deal when the store is having additional discounts. This store was definitely not your typical outlet store. They had what seemed like the same amount of merchandise as the normal retail store. With a large amount of classic trench coats. One of my favorite brands and now with one of my favorite sales associates Daniel! Definitely coming back for more. read more

Hire security if you are afraid of theft! It's the poorest customer service when your store Has absolutely know one in it and your just standing in line for hours. It's ridiculous and awful to come on a weekday and be subjected to standing in the sun for hours! Corporate Burberry needs to step up and make this a better experience. Drove to stand!!! This is a large location compared to some of the other outlet Burberry locations. Despite the size of the store, I was disappointed in the selection. The store was a mess, which was strange since it was not too crowded. I was looking for a purse, but they hardly had any. I walked around looking for other things, but really couldn't find any "deals." We ended up leaving with no purchases. Next time we want a Burberry deal, we will go to a different outlet. read more

The store is quite nice, has a classy feel to it not like usual outlet store. Yhe store does not have enough registers open for the amount of traffic that it gets. You can absolutely get some very nice merchandise for a great deal as long as you're willing to wait in a long but fairly quickly moving line. The sales associates are attentive and plentiful, you won't look around for too long before someone approaches you asking if they can help you find what you need. read more

For starters, I'm just here because the wifey is looking for a "clutch", I actually learned something new! They have a huge selection of purse at this location, but it was just overwhelming with all the tourist inside the shop and everyone is grabbing purse everywhere! I don't know how the ladies can deal with all this commotion! This place is such a disappointment!!! Right when you walk in someone will greet you, ask you too many questions, then follow you where ever you go. Everyone working in the store stares at you the whole time you're in the store, checks you out multiple times, and judges you. They will pressure you into buying a bag and they will try to rush you. The quality and prints are quite nice and I have always loved burberry, but the feeling of being smothered and stalked made me feel really uncomfortable. They acted like we were going to steal something. Well I ended up buying a bag and wallet anyways because that's what I came here for. But a huge disappointment in customer service. My favorite store at Desert Hills! They have a ton of women's clothing, especially coats. I picked up a beautiful trench there today that was originally $800. I got it for more than half off! Although it's still expensive, it's a steal because Burberry knows their trenches and it's a classic, lifetime piece. read more

The burberry store is big and tons of selections. They have mother's day sale and extra 25% off from outlet price. The sales were helpful, especially Andy. He was really nice and patient. He did not push me to buy anything, but being really helpful. They also have sales speak Chinese and help the Chinese tourists. The Trench was 500 after sale and original price was around 1000, which is almost 50% off. I will definitely recommended people to come if you are a fan of Burberry. Come earlier or it will be packed inside the store, and less selection. read more

I bought 3 polo shirts in 3 sizes, after I paid for them, I asked the cashier to put them in separate bag because they are gift for different person. But she told me she can't do that, I asked why? She said if everyone asked for " hundreds of bags" they will run out of bags! R u kidding me? I bought 3 shirts and only asked for 3 bags because they are gifts! To be honest, if I'm buying them for myself, I don't want extra bags because I don't need them! I'm getting a little bit pissed, I asked her if I pay for them separately, what would u do? You have to give me 3 bags right? Then she gets up patient and ask the other lady by the side to explain why they can't give me 3 bags! Bought a $99 novacheck scarf here a couple of years ago during the holidays. These days that same scarf is almost how much they sell it for at the malls like the Burberry store in costa Mesa. The employees are douchers who think they're the shit coz they work at Burberry, someone needs to remind them that they're in an outlet mall in the middle of fkn nowhere. As soon as you walk in don't expect to be greeted or asked if you need help. I had to literally beg an employee to help me. Also, if you come in later on in the day like after lunch expect to have items on the floor. I guess the store is only clean when they open and close, I don't know about other people but I don't feel like putting something on me especially a scarf if someone stepped on it earlier with their nasty ass shoes. On a brighter note if you dig through the pile of clearance clothes you just might find a good bargain, I said good not great. read more
