He told me he would give me my money back. He never did. He even lied and said the check was in the mail. Two weeks later, it is clear he has no intention of giving me my money back. When I called, they asked me all the pertinent question to do a preliminary diagnosis. Additionally, provided me with guidance to prevent any additional system damage (saved me a ton of $$$). Upon arrival, the team went right to work, diagnosed the exact problem, replaced the damaged part, and checked for any additional damage. Before I knew it, everything was working perfectly. I was able to settle the bill with my credit card and it was quite reasonable. Prior to leaving, they gave me information which helped shape my expectations for how long it would take for my home to return to it's normal temperature. I regret it now, but I waited to call any other plumbers for a couple days and just kept trying, because I assumed they'd be responsive like they were before and call us back. Based on past experience, I'd have very highly recommended them, but in Fall 2023, if you need to reach a human quickly to answer questions & schedule an appointment quickly, call somewhere else.

He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.
