I found this place on social media. Ordering was easy, I ordered online in advance. My food was ready when I got there. Plenty of seating and their menu is huge. There was a leaky ceiling due to rains but they still kept the orders going. I got my food to go and was very happy with what I ordered. I ordered the Texas monthly burger, without the guacamole and bell peppers. The burger was huge, juicy and flavorful. I cut it in half and it was just as good later. Also ordered onion rings. They were good also but I wanted a sauce or something with them. I got ketchup. I will go back and try other things on their menu. read more

I visited this burger spot after seeing them open a Humble location. I remember visiting the old Conroe location many years ago. From the parking lot, I could smell the grease from them cooking the burgers which was a very good sign. I looked over the menu and was overwhelmed by the wide variety of sides which you can choose when ordering the combo. I just stuck to the French fries since most everything would have been an upcharge and others are also fried and are probably previously frozen anyway. I chose the philly with the shaved ribeye. When it comes out 5 mins later, the presentation is very good. The breaded, seasoned fries are served hot, very hot. The Philly is a small submarine roll that is light and packed with meat which also happened to be very hot. The menu says the cheese is Swiss, but it is obviously not 100% natural Swiss and there are no holes. It also leaves a stickiness in your mouth like other American cheeses. It's likely a Swiss- American blend. Service is excellent here and the cashier is a true character and reminded me a little of Damon Wayans. Considering the cheese they use, I personally prefer the philly over at Lenny's on the west side of Humble. If they had provolone as an option then I would certainly bump it up because their bread here is pretty good and light. On future visits, I will definitely have to try their burgers, especially the 1lb burger and the Texas Monthly burger, as well as the steak fingers and chicken fried steak. read more

First time visiting Burger Fresh and overall it was a great experience! The burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly. I tried the sourdough jalapeño bun--it is tasty, but personally I'd stick with the original bun for burgers. I think that jalapeño bun would shine even more with a chicken sandwich instead. One standout for me was the fried okra--so good and perfectly crispy. I also loved that you get to choose your side instead of being locked into fries. The options included fried okra, regular fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and tater tots, which is a huge plus in my book. The ambiance was very classic diner-style, which I absolutely loved--comfortable, casual, and fun. Customer service was top-notch too. Overall: Great local-owned spot that has a lot of character. Staff: From the moment I walked in James, who was at the counter, was engaging, funny and kind. He waited patiently as we looked over the menu, had to take an unexpected call which delayed our order, and then meticulously took our order. I'm happy to say they fixed it exactly as we ordered it. Service: Food was made in 10 minutes - maybe less. They have a sign that asks for patience because things are made to order. Food: GREAT! Let me tell you if you've been missing the steak finger basket at that mass fast-food chain, this is the place to go! They had a generous portion of steak fingers and fries with country gravy. It was enough for two meals. The steak fingers were large and they tasted great. I appreciated there wasn't too much seasoning on the food which was helpful for my sodium restrictions. My companion had a chicken fried steak sandwich that was perfectly portioned and fresher than what you can get at chains. There is a LOT on the menu for you to choose from - including milkshakes. I didn't get one on today's order but I've had one from here in the past and it was good. My Dr Pepper from the fountain was great. Ambience: The restaurant has a retro diner decor with records, red seats and booths and turquoise accents. And pleasant music. Lots of seating - there were several diners there when we visited - although we took our food to go. I like this place and will return when I'm in the neighborhood and try something new! This place is a hidden gem, I've had them on my list to try for a while. I'm so glad I went today, although it was raining the food made up for it. I ordered the fried cheddar burger and the Philly cheesesteak fries. Pure flavor from both and so much food I couldn't finish it all. Wow, a really good hamburger place and so close to my home, I could go every day I think! My first visit was on a rainy Saturday and they were not too busy. The staff greeted me when I entered, it took me a while to read the big menu board and decide what to get. I ended up getting the California Burger and it was so good. I needed extra napkins as it was the juiciest burger you could imagine. The onion rings were also excellent, piping hot and not greasy. The crisp batter coating was perfect. The decor is 50's diner style, lots of vintage and antique signs and posters, really quite cute and they obviously went to a lot of expense. The staff is super friendly, the cashier helped me by answering questions and a nice kitchen worker brought out my meal as soon as it was done. They have a cow bell by the door and if you liked your meal they encourage you to ring it to let the kitchen staff know that you enjoyed your food. read more

Craving a burger, so our family decided to order from Burger Fresh. We went to the restaurant to place our order and they had many great choices. I decided on a regular burger and onion rings. The buns they use are so tasty. The burger was cooked perfectly and the toppings were all fresh. My only complaint was the service. The young last working the counter wasn't friendly at all and looked at us crazy when we asked if we could order a Dr Pepper float instead of a Root Beer float. She said we could only order Root Beer. So, we had to pass on the float. The worker that brought out our food to us was much more friendly. They just opened in Humble. Their Conroe location was featured in Texas Monthly and we know why. This restaurant is pretty big, and the employees make you feel happy to be there. We ordered the American Classic Burger and a Philly Cheese-steak. The food was unbelievably good, and was so hot we could hardly pick it up. The flavor was excellent. Walk in, order at the counter and sit down. They call your number and bring your order to the table. They also have ice cream. When I opened the take out containers, everything looked amazing! The cheese was melty and the fries looked crispy. Everything was hot. Let's start with the burger. There is room to make this 4-5 stars. There was way too much mustard. I took over the taste of everything. I also paid for the upgraded jal sourdough bun that I didn't receive. I opted out of most of the veggies because take out. I should have skipped on the lettuce. The outside of the bun was almost too crisp and the inside was soggy. It was disintegrating as I took bites and all I tasted was mustard. I suggest allowing extra cheese because it seemed to have leaked out and I couldn't taste it due to sogginess and mustard. So, I think this was a construction error by whatever worker made my food. Kind wanted to try that bun I paid for too. The fries are blah. Zero taste IMO. Freezer section has many better choices. I think I should have gone with onion rings by the looks of the review. I added my own seasoning at home (Cajun) but it didn't stick because it was too late. This place could be great. I think going and eating there would be best as you can explain your liking. I will give it another chance. But, I wanted to give some tips to ordering it for take out or delivery. They also have one in Conroe.. both locations everything is fresh and delicious... but I sure wish they would change bun vendorsThe basic bun falls apart in your hand before you can finish the burger..
