I've been a fan of this chain for sometime now. They are a locally founded and grown restaurant serving up some of the best hamburgers around! They have several locations and continue to grow. Why? Well because the offer a great menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings as well as hot dogs. But I go there for the burgers because they are the best, bar none. The 1/2lb of perfectly grilled tender moist beef patty is place on a fresh soft bun with all sorts of toppings that you can choose from. And what do I have with my burger? Everything except the fries and onion rings were bad. My burger was burned and the pineapple was sour and like the can had been opened for weeks. When I told the staff about it she told me she would tell the cooks, they knew they put out that substandard product. For me to say something takes an act of congress. Third time was the charm. Their portions are huge. Still didn't get my order correct even though we always eat in. However, it's the perfect place for me and my son to talk after his dentist appointments just across the street if we don't choose Culver's. Order at the counter, and the food will be brought out to you. Their menu focuses on burgers, with lots of varieties available to order. Given I had already had a burger the day before, I opted for the Chicken Especial which had a bit of everything. The sandwiches were served upside down. Hmm, that seems to be their thing... The chicken was cooked well, but my Cajun fries were very salty. The complete menu is not listed on their website, which is unfortunate. YUM-One of the best burgers places around. Picked up several to-go orders for an office lunch. The online order was simple and pick up was super easy. Everyone's orders were correct and the burgers didn't disappoint. I had the kids meal with fries because it is the perfect size for lunch. Hamburger was hot and seasoned well. As of 6/14/20, they allow dine in option. Every time I come here, the food gets better. The first time I came, it was just ok. The burgers are huge and totally worth it. Sides needs to be ordered separately. I always order the mushroom burger because I love mushrooms and it doesn't fail me. I also ordered the garlic fries which I could pass on. Seems like it's precut garlic from onion and poured on. Onion rings are good. The environment can be changed though. Once we stepped in the place it smelled like toilet water. We just finished our second visit to hippo burgers. We loved the burgers the first time so decided to do it again. This time I got the chicken sandwich with mushrooms and it was the best chicken sandwich. I think I've ever had. The fries are always crispy and done just right And the sandwiches are huge and juicy with a yummy brioche bun. The only downside is that the bathrooms have a really bad smell to them. If they would scrub the bathrooms down, good and make sure that they were clean and not creating a smell into the hallway this would be the perfect place to eat. read more

Pretty good burger. It's tough to compete when there are so many burger options around. I had the double meat bacon cheeseburger. Like others have said, this burger is super greasy. The potato bun soaks most of it up, but you can tell it's going to sit with you for awhile. Don't plan a meeting after eating this bad boy! I'm sure the single patty burgers are a little more reasonable, but still greasy. I did not have any sides so I can't comment on the fries or tots. I'm a Culver's and Five Guys fan, so this place being right next to Culver's, it's hard to break away from my go to burger. Try it out and see if you like it! read more
