Let's face it. It's Burger King. You know exactly what you're going to get, though I'll acknowledge there's occasionally a little variation for customer service issues. This Bk is located on U.S. 36 in Avon. I've only been here a couple times on my way to my parents' home in Putnam County. However, I do occasionally stop, especially for breakfast, with basic needs for what I know will be a basic meal. I don't think I've ordered more than a couple items here and so far orders have been accurate. Employees are good enough - not overly friendly, however, also not rude by any means. The food has been consistent with BK's usual quality. I obviously wouldn't ever go out of my way to eat here, however, when I need a quick drink or bite to eat and am not in the mood for donuts (it happens on occasion), I can stop here and I'm usually fine with it. The drive-thru moves at a decent pace (much quicker than the BK by my own home) and the prices are pretty decent. You can easily eat fairly cheaply here, however, you can also go above $10 easily. I'm not sure why I'm even reviewing BK other than the fact that Yelp keeps putting it on my screen for review. It's pretty much your definitive 3-star experience. read more

Service was horrible. We went in during the mid day rush. Nobody was in the restaurant. We waited for someone to acknowledge our presence for 5 minutes. When we asked the person at the counter if we could place an order, we were told we had to wait for the drive thru to get caught up. Absolutely horrible and rude service. read more

Picked up two breakfast sandwiches for my youngest son and myself. The GM engaged in conversation with me at the window and asked if I had a little one in the car as he was making a little kings hat. I said no but he is at home and one of the sandwiches is for him. He proceeded to hand me the hat and told me this was for him and he bet the bacon sandwich was his and and I agreed as it was. He said little ones love the bacon just as he did at that age. The GM went out of his way to give my son a hat and engage in conversation with me. Horrible I paid for a chicken sandwich with JUST CHEESE On it and they put lettuce and mayo on it when I never asked for that

I went to the drive thru yesterday. I was asked by the gentleman taking my order if I wanted to round up for something and I replied, no thanks. When I got home to scan my receipt for my Fetch app, clearly they rounded my purchase anyway. I called the store numerous times before finally reaching a manager who told me I could come in to be refunded. I chose not to because that location is 42 min from my home. It should not have happened in the first place, but yet another reason to check your receipt for accuracy as most likely don't even notice those small amounts being added without authorization. read more

I used to not go near Burger King for a long time because I thought they had bad food but after returning many years later I find that I quite like Burger King. This location was very clean, staff was lovely and patient, and that food seemed like it was cooked to order. I got 2 jr chickens and a jr cheeseburger. On April 6th I went through the drive thru and a ordered meal and a separate drink. As I drove off I took a sip of my drink. It was flat and very sweet. To whom it may concern. On or about November 2nd information on my credit card was stolen upon my visit to Burger King in Avon Indiana. My wife spoke to a GM for Burger King concerning this and she told me that she was treated very rudely. So I called Burger King in Avon and spoke to a Megan who told me that she was the GM of Burger King. "Megan" was very rude and unaccommodating she just dared me to call the police and just write a report. She wasn't going to deal with it. Now what Ms. Megan did not know it that she was speaking to a head Chef! Her actions spoke volumes, I quickly read the reviews on the restaurant I saw that this theft and rude behavior has happened before with no correction. (I blame the burger King corporation for allowing her to work in this capacity.) Working in food service I know that this is highly unacceptable. Having GM that has such a disrespect for her consumer base makes you think how are they going to treat the food that you consume? I'm not saying that they tamper with the food however ask yourself can you trust such a person with maintaining the very high standards like serving you food at the correct temperatures or maintaining correct Sanitation standards which can get you or your family member sick or worse? For me it's a no! As a Chef or food service professional I know how things are supposed to go and this is not it. Matter of fact if this Megan does change her mind on how she treats her consumer base. Racist? It literally only happens with this woman in the morning to me, when there's anyone else, it never happens. I finally get in place to take my order and I'm clearly first, she takes the order of the other row two time in a row before taking mine. She even has had me sit there for like 5 minutes without asking me anything with zero cars in the other lane and magically after me waiting a car pulls up and she has the balls to ask the other lane that just freaking pulled up in the lane what they want and then ask me after when I'm the one that's been waiting. This has now happened 5 times, and just happened again today, I'm not one to usually think racism, but this has happened far to often with only the same exact female at the first window so much, that now it's making me think it's my race since maybe I'm a Hispanic, because it seems like it isn't a coincidence anymore and it's intentional, for what? Not that I'm a fast food connoisseur, nor would I desire to be. However, sometimes... you just NEED a "cheat meal" or something greasy and oh so bad for you! If I could leave less stars, I would. Prior to this evening, this was the only location that had "good" albeit super cheap tacos. Tonight they looked like whatever it is in the attached photos. Chewy, stale and with ZERO cheese. Went to burger king for a late night meal at 1am and they were closed but they promote and say online that they close at 2am. The workers also did not say anything at the speaker for a while and when she did, it was in a really rude tone. You shouldn't state you're open till 2 am unless you are actually open. It was a waste of gas and we've had way too many problems with burger king at this point!!! read more

As a standpoint I used to work here and this place is not very great with their management of keeping everything clean while I was working there everyone was sick someone had the flu, heard that someone had Covid and The manager still wanted that person to work there and they still were working and the General Manager didn't care whatsoever. Management and their food service is falling apart. They need a workaround I do feel bad for this place this once was a good restaurant. I myself did get sick but I did not get Covid my mother had COVID-19 and I couldn't see her for two months knowing that I thought I was sick so I took a test and came out negative but I still was sick from some kind of bug that I tracked it from Burger King whoever was sick. But things are well and thank God that I left that place. The big kicker is I got fired for having a broken vehicle even though I let the general manager know ahead of time I had no transportation and I still got fired. Parents if you want your young ones to work here be very aware that the general manager in the management is very anal. They will make you work no matter what if you're sick if there's something going on with the family or if you're having a crisis in your life they don't care they need you to work. Unfortunately since this place is not a franchise and you can't report to a higher boss which is unfortunate. My hands are tied and I can't do nothing about it I got fired for no reason. I'm not sure what's up with this Burger King. While, not a huge purveyor of fine window food, sometimes it's what we have time for or what we NEED. A lover of the chicken sandwich, BK is the only fast food joint that hasn't changed theirs since I was a kid. So, sometimes I have an emotional need for a chicken sandwich from BK. The employees aren't very friendly. The service is FRIGHTENINGLY FAST at times. The few times I've been, my sandwich has been in disarray, which is a bit of an enigma to me. I'm talking top bun half off, lettuce and mayo on the outside of the wrapper. I imagine an official BK sign w/ official Bk stick people and the instructions as: 1. Build sandwich. 2. Wrap sandwich. 3. Punt sandwich into bag. I've never been inside because, it's one of my rules. I do not eat inside of fast food joints. Recently, I noticed on my Kroger receipts that the BK coupons are only good in Brownsburg and Plainfield. I mean, even the Kroger receipts are smart enough to steer clear of the BK in Avon. read more

Well not so much a review of the restaurant per say. More of an item. For months have seen nonstop advertising for the plant based impossible whopper. Waited for them to join the 2 for $6 menu to try. The regular Whopper for long time my fast food guilty pleasure. I was so hoping that this possibly healthier version would taste as good as the regular. Going into it I assumed that the toppings would be a reason to not tell much of a difference. This is the the absolute worst BK on EARTH! I have spent my last dollar there, last meal was tendercrisp chicken sandwich. Reddish brown leaf of lettuce, 1 end slice of tomatoe. Bun had to be left open to air was stale, birdfood basically. Chicken was luke warm, and fries were re- fried fries that were old. $9+ for CRAP! OK, tried this place twice. Both times horrible. Both times on my way out of town or I would have driven right back and gotten my money back. I truly can't figure out how a normally fairly decent fast food place can be so bad at this one location, but it apparently is. 1st visit: Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Not only was this thing grilled beyond all recognition, (I think they grilled it twice to disguise it from being old) it was like chewing a piece of leather. The lettuce looked like it had been sitting in dishwater for 24 hours. And way too much mayo, it was soaked in it. Awful, I tried to eat about half and the rest was thrown away. 2nd visit: Yes, like a fool, today I went back. I figured, try the BK Big Fish. I have had this at other Burger Kings, it wasn't too bad for a fried fish sandwich. Again, I was leaving town so can't drive back and give them a piece of my mind or get my money back. The so-called big fish was about 3.5 inches square, it didn't even reach the edge of the bun. And it was fried to death. Hard as a rock. I took two bites and threw the rest away. And those two bites gave me a terrible stomach ache. Sorry, Avon Burger King... you will never get another dime of my money. I really can't figure out how you can get it SO wrong. Seldomly do we eat fast food but we all wanted burgers. Stopped and ate inside Burger King. I have to say, one of the worst experiences I've had. Service was beyond slow, other than 1 teenager working the front end and drive through at the same time. Fries and chicken nuggets were burnt to krisps. My kids love fries and they wouldn't touch them. My wife ordered the Rib sandwich. For $6.00 for the meal. I thought I bought a slider from White Castle way too small for the price. I ordered a double whopper. Tasted like a whopper without the normal fixins! They were not even busy and still couldn't keep up the pace or do it correctly.
