My husband & I had an absolutely wonderful experience here, and it was largely thanks to our server, Desiree. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. She anticipated every need before we even had to ask--refilling drinks right on time and making sure every part of our meal was perfect.What really stood out was how she went above and beyond by stopping at our table & asking me if I would like to have a drink from the bar because she saw that I had been looking at the drink menu. Service like this is hard to find. The management made an excellent choice bringing her on; she's a huge asset to the team. Came here for a birthday party and had a really good time overall. The outside patio was the perfect setup, warmers over every table kept it comfortable, and there was a nice mix of high-top tables and booths for seating. They had the doors open to the outside which gave it a fun, lively atmosphere. There were games like a basketball hoop, scooters for the kids, Connect Four, and cornhole, which added to the experience. TVs were everywhere, and with the Final Four game on, it made the vibe even better with music playing throughout the patio. Our server, Dajiah, was friendly and gave great recommendations, which we appreciated. For a bigger crowd, she was on it. For drinks, I had the Pineapple Smash (crown whiskey and double shot) and it was very good, definitely one of my favorites. I also tried the Blackberry Smash, which was just as good. My husband ordered a Blue Moon since they didn't have Mango Cart. He later tried to order a whiskey sour but ended up with a whiskey bound, which he didn't care for, though I thought it was decent. We started with the garlic knots appetizer with cheese and marinara, and those were good. For my meal, I had the salmon, which normally comes with rice and another side, but I swapped for a side salad and broccoli. I really enjoyed my salmon and broccoli. I got turned off from my salad because of one small issue. There was a hair in my side salad, but they handled it. They took it back immediately after I informed our server, remade it, and our server also offered to remove it from the bill, which I appreciated. Bubba's is everything you would expect it to be judging from the name. It's a sit down dining circus of noise and wall to wall TV screens. If you're in the mood for that atmosphere and the food to go with it Bubba's is your place. There's no pretense here. Burgers, beer, pizza, and an assortment of equally unhealthy but exquisitely decadent and delicious food are the order of the day. The double cheeseburger appears to be two half pound patties served with all the gooey and dripping trimmings you might imagine. I didn't even notice whether it came with fries because I was too busy trying to figure out how to take bite out of this steaming hot gargantuan sandwich. Service was excellent, with staff checking back a couple of times to see if we needed anything extra. Refills on our drinks magically appeared without us really noticing. First time checking out Bubba's 33, and I have to say it was a great first experience! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt spacious and welcoming, and it wasn't too busy at the time, which made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Our server, Bryce, was absolutely fantastic....attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout our visit. We started with the Shotgun Shrimp appetizer, and wow.. it did not disappoint. The shrimp were perfectly crispy, and the in house sauce that came with it was so flavorful. I would definitely order this again next time. The menu itself is pretty large, so it took a little time to narrow down our options, be prepared to spend a few minutes deciding, LOL! I ultimately went with the Sunshine Burger, loaded with all the fixings, bacon, and a fried egg, served with a side of fries. The burger was juicy and delicious, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and my meal was served hot. For dessert, we tried the Oreo Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. I personally found it a bit lacking in flavor. Overall, the experience was still great! What really stood out, though, was the management. One of the managers stopped by our table to chat since she must have overheard it was our first time visiting, which made us feel really welcomed. As we were leaving, another manager handed us a box with goodies for our next visit, a small touch that really shows their commitment to customer service. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh. The atmosphere is lively and laid-back, with lots of TVs, upbeat music, and a fun, energetic vibe. Service, however, was a bit hit or miss during our visit. We came fairly early on a weekday when it wasn't very busy, and the servers seemed more focused on chatting with each other than checking in consistently. Food and Drink: I had Bubba's this evening for the first time! Since it was my first time, I wanted to try a few things! For an appetizer, I had the Shotgun Shrimp. They were flavorfully sauced and yet still crispy! For dinner, I had the bacon cheeseburger with fire fries. I'm not sure if my pictures do it justice, but it was huge! It was two beef and bacon grind patties smashed equaling a half-pound. The burger was juicy and had a crispy edging, like a smashburger. The fries were hot and crispy and well seasoned. The only thing I needed was a milkshake! Lastly, dessert - the oreo brownie. Honestly, it didn't meet my expectations, I was expecting more fudge, like a molten brownie. It had a great presentation, but I also think I was too full. Overall, I'm a happy first timer, and would be open to coming back! Customer Service: Bryce was our waiter and he was personable, friendly, and willing to share his recommendations with us as we browsed the menu. Would be pleased to have him again next time! My husband and I love stopping in at Bubba's for a late dinner after running errands or after working out at the nearby YMCA. We used to stop in at BJ's Brewhouse down the street, but their service and food quality was getting worse with each visit and we have been going to Bubba's ever since. Each visit has been a great experience. We love getting their wings and a side salad or one of their tasty dinner options. I have also been here for lunch with co-workers on numerous occasions and really enjoy their crispy chicken salad. We have sat in all areas of the restaurant, but prefer the bar side because it is quieter. Sometimes during nicer weather they will also open up the garage doors to let fresh air come through. First, let me say this before I begin my review. If you watch sports, Bubba's is a fabulous spot to visit. TV's surround the bar and dining area showing sports and other channels. The bar area is a comfortable location to watch a sporting event as well with booths, high top tables and of course, bar top seating. They play a nice variety of music videos along with other fun video's. The music is loud and several of our friends and family have difficulties with the volume. Remember, it is a sports bar. We've been to Bubba's many times now with minimal issues with all resolved quickly. Today, we had a service issue where our appetizers were severed at the same time as our entrees. Our server apologized several times, unfortunately there really much anyone could do other than send the entrees back. Of course, our entrees were lukewarm by the time we finished the appetizers which was to be expected. We've rarely had more than a 4-5 minute wait for a requested booth in the bar area. Our server, Macy, arrived quickly with drinks, and our lunch orders were taken within minutes. The food arrived quickly and hot. Macy was amazing and stayed on top of everything. She truly helped make our first visit pleasurable. My second trip was for a quick appetizer after shopping. The Poblano Spinach Dip is so cheesy and made with roasted poblablos, topped with parmesan jack cheese, but a bit much sour cream. It's still delicious, but the amount overpowers the flavors. The spinach dip is served with a basket of chips, salsa, and excellent garlic focaccia bread. I will request extra focaccia bread next time. The menu options cover appetizers, salads, entrees, sandwiches and pizzas. The chicken avocado bacon sandwich served on focaccia bread served with fire fries is one of my personal favorites. My husband often orders the pork chop along with the burger. Everyone we've dined with has enjoyed their meals. I'm a return customer who is happy Bubba's 33 is now in Avon. read more

Horrible. Philly sandwich very dry, had to wait 15 mins to get server to ask for au jus (which I had to leave my seat and go get her attention). Then hassled me about "what kind of au jus....Wth? Took another 15 mins for the MANAGER to bring some but by that time was no longer hungry and sent sandwich back. Got the check and they tried to charge me for the send back sandwich. On top of this my daughter asked for her side that wasn't delivered with her food. Asked for that when we asked for the au jus and still by end of meal never got the side. On top of all this crap, the server NOR the MANAGER ever once apologized for this crap service!!! Was kind of surprised by Bubba's really went in not expecting much more than mediocre like Applebees or Fridays. We were immediately sat. Our server was pretty prompt at introducing himself. We ordered the combo appetizer platter and onion rings to start. Wished the combo had about a quarter of the pickles and more chicken and cheese sticks. Chicken was very good as was the cheese. The fried pickles I could eat if I had too. The Salmon was very good. And a nice size piece. Next time I'd get rid of the rice. Broccoli had I think garlic in it which as good. Husband has no complaints about the burger or tots. Friend said the chicken tenders were great. I did try her fries and loved the crispy coating. Other friend got pork loin sandwich and took half home. Onion ring batter was good. Not too thick and not greasy. I think we'd all return and try different things. It wasn't too loud inside. This place was pretty good. It gives sports bar vibes with good eats. I had a burger that was well done with fries. My fries were a little soggy. They were not crispy as I expected but had a good flavor to them. My guest had fish and chips, which was enjoyed and ate until the plate was empty. Either it was good or they were hungry, but the verdict was "its delicious." We did have some really good strawberry lemonade that our server continued to be attentive and refilled us multiple times. She provided great service to us. Their menu is filled with options from tacos to burgers, to fish to pasta. I'll have to come back and try a couple other dishes I saw on the menu. It was a Thursday just after 12 noon and the parking lots were crowded at several eateries I checked out in Avon. Bubba's parking lot was only about half full but inside they seemed packed. No host/hostess was stationed at the desk upon walking through the door and servers were busy buzzing about. Finally someone came but did not ask me "how many," I had to ask to be seated. Once seated, service was fast. My drink and then food came out immediately. I found ordering a bit of a challenge since everything on the menu was well over a thousand calories except their wings but all their sauces had a kick per my server so that was out. I settled for the first sandwich on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich but held the garlic mayo and ordered Tater Tots to go with them. The sandwich was okay. The "spicy" is just a tad too much for my likes on the fries, but overall the food and service was above average. The environment is nice if you like to watch big screen TV's with some random shows. It was a good layout. The evening was done at Bubba's to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. Although she was now of legal age, none of us partake in alcohol. I did get a picture with all of our water glasses shoved up beside her to suggest she was a heavy drinker with our 6 water glasses. We have been here two weeks in a row and have enjoyed it both times!! We had never been here before and happened to be in the area and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The restaurant is a family friendly sports bar style restaurant with lots of TVs and booths and tables. They have a nice menu with lots of choices and a good amount of eclectic choices that you don't normally see on a menu at your typical restaurant. Our waitresses both times were very sweet and checked on us often. I had the Monte Cristo and our daughter had the fried shrimp. My husband had the fish and chips. The Monte Cristo was delicious and it was deep fried and came with a raspberry sauce for dipping. It was so good! I had never had one before and am so glad I decided to try it. My daughter was really pleased with her shrimp and my husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. They have daily $4 margaritas!! They're good too! We were afraid it would be a long wait as the parking lot was packed. We were seated without a wait. It's huge inside. For our appetizer we got the fried pickles. They were really good and had a small amount of heat to them which I liked. Will definitely get them again. For my entree, I got the appetizer Shotgun Shrimp! This was absolutely delicious! The service is quick without rushing, and efficient and friendly. Beer is cold and plentiful but you are going to find many local selections here. It is Avon. Good place and reasonably priced! Me and my family moved to the area from South Carolina in October and we do not have Bubbas down there. I took my wife and daughter to Bubba's for dinner and we all enjoyed it. The menu has so much variety, from pasta, pizza, burgers, wings, fish, steak, etc. My wife got a pizza and she said it was amazing. So good that she wanted to go back the following week to get it again. I got hot wings and they were good. Bubba's a great spot.
