When I moved here I heard terrible things about the Burger King and did not go for a long time. Fine decided to go and have been back several times since. The stars are in relation to other Burger Kings and on the scale of rating fast food. The customer service is always great, the food is always fresh and I have not had one messed up order. The dining area is always incredible clean. It's a lot calmer in BK then the fast food spots next door. I have had many problems with mcdonalds, taco bell/kfc. So Maybe the BK was not great a while back but I've been going for 4 months or so with no issues, other than sometimes they are out of a drink or something like chicken fries but that's pretty standard for any place in Brookings read more

The service had to be the worst thing of this whole place the manager was terrible he was awful he did not even give us his name wouldn't give us a receipt. The food was completely inedible and we threw it all away. The bathrooms were gross the floors were sticky it was a terrible place to be I would never go there. read more

Every so often I come across a place I wish Yelp would let me give 0 stars to. This Burger King is one of those. Stopped her over the summer for lunch on a road trip with my family(July 20th). We ordered lunch for 4 people. Not a huge order and a couple of customizations, but not a lot(things like a plain whopper). The order took almost an hour to get us the food. In that time I saw them take the order for and serve about a dozen people. Once they got us the food they had messed up my daughters sandwich. Obviously by now I was a little upset. I came back in and mentioned they got it wrong. I didn't yell or raise my voice. The lady behind the counter got extremely defensive and rude. She was near hostile with me. I have never had staff in any restaurant be so hostile. Once they fixed the sandwich she practically threw it at me and asked if that was all and told me to leave. In a town full of fast food places I can honestly say if I ever pass through here again I will stay Far Far away from this Burger King and I hope that those reading this will save there family some grief and do the same. read more

Three workers standing around. One was working on a piece of equipment. We waited 5 min. No one acknowledged us or said "we will be with you really quickly" or even a hand signal?!? They were standing 2 feet from us. Don't waste your time!! The help is not helpful. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the by far worst BK I have ever eaten at. I got the original chicken sandwich and the meat was frozen and watery. The fries was greasy and none salted. I know this is fast food. But for brookings and fast food its been decent. Whoppers are hot. Cooked. Fresh. The onion rings were a little stale could have been improved but again decent food and value for a cheap lunch. 2 for $10 comes in handy. Horrible had to wait like 20 minutes to order and then like another 15 minutes to get our food and when they didn't give us our drinks, we asked them for our drinks and then they look at you like you're annoying them, and then have an asked for straws after that put the icing on the cake lol . pretty rude customer service, and very slow for fast food. Then they finally get to you in the order they say sorry for the wait you'll have a discount for the inconvenience and you get your bill and there's no discount. It's pretty hilarious would not recommend this place probably the worst Burger King I've ever been to. read more

If I could give 0 I would. I waited in drive through for 12 minutes and was only behind two cars. Ok no big deal, I get my western cheeseburger and onion rings. Yeah huge order I know, I immediately opened up the burger and low and behold a nice hard stale bun and luke warm hockey puck pattie. Needless to say I went in and asked for my money back. Hours posted say 6a, drive thru completely turned off. We park and go inside, doors are unlocked & we stand in the lobby for a good 2 minutes with workings not saying anything to us. Do not go here unless you have too much time on your hands!!! I spent over 30 minutes in line, only to finally get to the window to be told that they had just started cooking the chicken for my sandwich!!! The drive thru person was courteous and pleasant. The (alleged) manager that brought me my order to my car, after a total wait of 45 minutes, mumbled what I think was an apology, with no eye contact. In 45 minutes, any restaurant could have served a pan fried chicken dinner, with all the trimmings! This was after they had been open over a month, the bugs should have been worked out!! This has the worst customer service of any BK I have ever been to. They open in the morning when ever or if ever they feel like. Often past 8 am although the sign says 6. The afternoon take out window is often serviced by a young fellow who does not say a single word to you. He has often given me the wrong order and says nothing when you tell him, just finally gives you what you originally ordered. I do not think there is ever a manager present or how else can this continue as it has for more than a year now. read more

Swear to god I'm writing this review while still in the drive thru. There was 7 cars ahead of me and the window and now 30 min later there are still 5 cars ahead of me. This is the first time I've had a problem here but I ordered dinner here and asked for the bacon king no sauces and they still put ketchup and mayo on my burger everything else was fine but I'm just upset because it absolutely ruined the bacon no matter how much I wiped it would not come off the bacon so I had to throw it away. read more
