Pepperoni/olive pizza cut into ridiculously small pieces.
    Jersey_Mike P.

First time here on 2-21-26. Staff were friendly, interior was loud. We ordered a large pepperoni & olive pizza, two small salads, and fountain drinks. Salad bar was fresh, fountain sodas were watery. Overall, the pizza was OK. Not the best, not the worst. I just don't understand why it's cut into tiny pieces. Because of the grease from the cheese and pepperoni, it was very messy to eat the small pieces since there wasn't a crust to hold a slice from when cut like it should be. I guess they are aspiring to be like Dominoes? Yuck. This would not be a destination but if we were craving pizza, we'd give them a second chance.

Sooooo having been here before we know it gets super busy during the holiday weekend. We ordered ahead online and our order still ended up being late. The tags got all messed up and this trip things appeared very disorganized.... BUT the pizza...oh the pizza...is so very good. I happily come prepared to wait and for it to be loud and busy in the restaurant just to get to enjoy the yummy food. Whenever we are up in Crescent city we happily drive up for some yummy pizza. I hate to say this but after one trip we believe this is the best pizza we have ever eaten. The sink hole with a couple of beers resulted in us having to be rolled out of the place. Also who thought of cutting up pizza into little pieces? Genius!!

Will they cut your pizza traditionally into triangles if asked? Some of my family members don't like the "square cuts.

Super disappointing brunch service this morning. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the…read morewait time was a little ridiculous for simple breakfast food and considering the place was only about half to two thirds full at the time. It was at least 40 minutes from the time we ordered to the time our food started showing up and, for whatever reason, our French toast kabob appetizer didn't come out until the rest of our mains. The bigger problem was the Irish Filler. Of the two strips of bacon it came with, one was overcooked to the point of being brittle and hard to chew, while the other was way undercooked so the fat had just barely started to render and had that sort of gross gelatinous texture. On top of that, I had to send it back twice because it was missing the gravy and the corned beef; both of which are standard ingredients included in the base recipe. Our server was very apologetic and was quick to return to the kitchen for the missing ingredients. Unfortunately, when the dish was complete I dug in only to find the entire thing lukewarm to the point that the cheese hadn't even melted over the potatoes in the bottom of the bowl. By that point I just wanted something in my stomach so I just sort of picked at it until I was no longer starving, but I didn't even bother with a box for the leftovers. To be fair, the Top o' the Mornin' omelette and the breakfast burrito with sausage were really good; generous portions and cooked well. But I feel like when your brunch menu only consists of like ten items to begin with, you should probably excel at all ten of those items. Hopefully this was just a one-off and not indicative of their usual quality but with a variety of other local places to choose from, I can't say for certain that I'll be trying my luck here again.

They make their own vodka and it's quite nice. Do yourself a favor and try any of the Superfly specials with it, they'll surprise you. They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.

Hubby had the lasagna, I had the shrimp fettuccine and for appetizers- hubby ordered the cheese curds. We also had a mascarpone cake , the bread basket and our dinners came with salad. The lasagna was legit. Hubby loves to cook from scratch so he saw that their sauce was made from scratch. My fettuccine looked made from scratch too! The shrimps weee grilled to perfection and the sauce was so delicious! The bread was made to perfection and came with a huge cup of whipped butter. Service wise- we didn't get to eat in. But the way they packed the food was with care. We can't talk about ambiance either since we didn't get to eat in there. But we may have to go in there one more time before we head back to SoCal. The only negative- we didn't get to take pics! Food was massive and delicious. If you're ever in Brookings- pls give them a try. Everything we had was delicious.

It's pretty unassuming from the outside, but once seated, the wait staff took great care of our party of 15. The food was reasonably priced with decent portions and excellently prepared. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and that everything was to our liking. I wish we lived closer so we could frequent more often.
