Inconsistent Service and Poor Handling of Mobile Payment I've been to this Burger King on Main St in Doylestown Pa a few times over the past couple of weeks, and unfortunately, the drive-through service has been really disappointing. The staff doesn't seem to listen carefully -- my drink order has been wrong multiple times in a row, which gets frustrating. Today was the last straw. When I tried to pay with Apple Pay at the window, the employee asked to take my phone inside to complete the payment -- with bare hands that were clearly not clean. That's a hygiene issue and a security concern. There has to be a better system for contactless payments. I get that things get busy, but consistent mistakes and careless handling of customers' belongings make for a really poor experience. Hoping this location can improve its attention to detail and customer care. read more

Burger King used to be my favorite fast food restaurant for many years. Lately when I order a whopper it has very little ketchup or mayo on it. I would say about a teaspoon . I am aware of this cost cutting device, so when I placed my order at the Doylestown Burger King ,I ordered extra of both ,plus my usual extra pickles. My order was ready immediately and they asked me to drive up and pick up my order. I thought, that was very speedy. How did they make up my two Whoppers so fast? When I arrived home, I found out how they did it. They completely ignored my requests for extra toppings. I guess their new slogan is. "Have it our way" I bet the owner of this franchise doesn't even read these reviews. I don't think the owner cares. Maybe the corporation owns this one. Don't go here!!! Not sure what's up but there are two fellas here who look like they camp out in the diningroom: one guy keeps getting up and refilling his metal coffee tumbler from the soda fountain and the other guy goes in and out to smoke and to vape. Neither guy has food. There was a gal at the register with her back to us when we walked in. A worker told her she had a customer and she still didn't turn around so someone else waited on us. Our burgers were good and our onion rings were undercooked. The soda fountain had mostly light-brown soda water. Although the diningroom is spacious, many of the tables are dirty even though there are few customers. read more

Been coming here periodically for at least 3-4 years. These people are miserable, they never get the order right and the old lady at the window is always incredibly rude. Food is barely edible at most, the employees are unbearable. Honestly don't know why i even expect anything different, will not be coming here anymore. read more

Used to hate this location since the food used to be disgusting. Have no idea what changed but it's been actually pretty good. Service can be slow sometimes I recommend walking in to order. Location hasn't been updated but it doesn't feel outdated. read more

Went through the drive through and the woman was very nice and friendly. You don't really get that much anymore with drive thru fast food service and I can understand. But she was great. Food was good. Fresh and hot. Loved the oreo shake and husband and kids loved the blue slush. Quick service. read more

I stopped last night after a long day on the drive home. The heavy-set manager with brown hair was so rude and that spread to his staff member. When I walked in I was the only person in the place. The manager walked by and rudely said "I'll be with you as soon as possible." He then ignored me for the next few minutes. They were working the drive through, but also had a customer who walked in and was standing right there. They were just as rude to a man who walked in after me. When I saw the counter dispenser was out of ketchup, I walked back to the counter where I was actively ignored for a couple of minutes before I finally yelled to the staff in the back: "do you have any ketchup packets?" He yelled back "WHAT!!!?" I repeated myself to the rude young man. He walked over and handed me two packets. I just said thank you and made a mental note that I will never stop in there again. It's sad where we have come as far as customer service. It's dying in this country! I get that working behind the counter at Burger King as a 30 something year old guy wasn't anyone's dream, but it's a job you took and you shouldn't take your frustrations out on customers. read more

Last week I stopped at The Burger King to pick up something to go when on a walk. As I knew there was no inside eating. The door was locked and they would not answer the phone. Finally, when there were no cars in the line I walked up to the window after trying to get their attention at the drive up window. As the very nice young man was taking my order, the man who I assume was the manager came to the window screaming at me in such a way as I could not understand a word he said. I finally figured out that he was trying to tell me that someone was coming around the corner, but to make the turn she had to go slowly and I waved and she nodded. Terrible experience. By the way, on the door they had a sign which gave their hours of being open. read more

The words F**k You written on that receipt with a smiley face next to it. Clearly that place lacks management supervision and training if they have staff like that working for them. Listen, I love the new general manager and all. But it just doesn't feel the same since the old one was gone. I took what I had at this Burger King for granted and it just does not feel the same anymore. The employees just seem they do not have the same amount of heart that the old ones had. I don't know if I have had particularly bad luck or what, but the last two times I have been in this location, I've been subject to loud, racist conversation by customers in the dining area. The first time, I chalked it up to just some old guys BSing with one another but then, months later, I stopped in again and there's a LOUD conversation at a next table where a man and a women referred to people of color as "one step above gorillas" and Jews are blamed for the Holocaust because they were in charge of everything in Germany and treated the Germans badly (put them in jail, etc.) prior to the Nazi rise. It seems so incredibly unbelievable that I would hear these kinds of crazy conversations on two separate occasions in the same location months apart. I have to wonder if this location is not a meeting place for these sorts of people. read more

The King of Burgers. I meet up with a friend and mentor once a month at Burger King. It is a nice relaxed atmosphere with a full selection of burgers including the Jr., Whopper, and Double Whopper. The burger is served on a sesame roll with pickles, romaine, catchup, and mayo. Sides include salads, fries, and chicken fingers. I personally got a Whopper Jr. and a small coffee. The coffee is quite good. The regulars tend to be older men and a few teenagers. It is just a nice quiet place to sit, chat, and grab a quick bite. They are supposed to have WIFI, but every time I ask they tell me go to another location that actually has it. It would be a nice addition to be able catch up on emails and write yelp reviews while eating a burger. read more

"Delicious! Just kidding." It was the eve of a long, hot summer's day, I had just taken the wife and my three children, Julie, Steven, and Kyäanskørn to Doylestown for a day of fun in the sun (it was Summer). Anyway, for breakfast we went to the Begal Barrel - it was very tasty, the bagels were fresh and the creamcheese perfectly luscious. Our server was a fun local with a kind smile, he happily greeted us as we walked into the establishment, ready to take our order. He also recommended us some fresh-squeezed orange juice, and boy was I glad I took him up on that offer. Very tasty. Then we went to lunch at CVS; my wife bought some crackers and water, my sons bought some chips and an Arizona, and my daughter and I shared a party-sized bag of M&Ms (hey, you only live once!) We sat on the sidewalk and it was very hot. For dinner, we almost went to burger king, but we weren't hungry yet. So,we went home to our villa in Newhope, only to be stung with the imperious sting of regret of not going to Buger king. Now, by this time, we had already eaten (some Digorno's Pizza), but we were very thirsty. So, we drove back to B.K. feat Doylestown to get some water and the water was too cold. read more

Wow today I had the best apple pie ever! My taste buds exploded it was an experience and to be honest was better than my Grandmas which is the most American thing i've ever had. This Burger King has stuck out among the fast food places in Doylestown for many years. They have consistently been fast, efficient, clean and friendly; admittedly mundane standards but none of the others in town have been able to achieve them. read more

I like Burger King, but this one in particular has a habit of upselling me (add cheese, bacon, etc.) and then not adding the extra toppings. It's not the $.50 I waste every time I try to add cheese to a chicken sandwich that annoys me, it's the principle. So much for having it my way. read more

For the second and LAST time, we have ordered and PAID for a large takeout order for kids waiting back at home. Any idea how one is made to feel when some of the kids are missing their meal upon delivery. If this is the type of embarrassment and guilt that you would like to avoid, please pass by this particular establishment. A call to speak to management just rings with no answer, the employee's dress and professionalism lacks and their seems to be a lack of managerial supervision on site. I know this is fast food and one should not expect a great deal, but the bare minimum is giving the customer what they paid for. read more
