On the night of October 1, 2025, I was heading from NC to the Watertown, NY area. I was hoping the Burger King in Hazelton was open--and I was very happy to be ordering at around 10:15pm. I try to stop at this Burger King every time I make the drive--because THIS Burger King is the Best One I have ever been to. The people who work there are always great--friendly, crisp, efficient and every order I have ever placed has been perfect. The lobby is always immacualte--and even the grounds and the parking lot are clean and manicured. Burger King Corporate Should Get a Grip, and Pay Attention to the employees at the Hazelton Burger King at I-81--and use THIS Burger King as a model for every other store they have. read more

Stopped here for a late lunch. Went inside and ordered a spicy chicken sammich and onion rings. Was made to order - was hot and very tasty! Dining area was clean and well maintained. Service was good. #BurgerKing read more

I'm actually sitting in the restaurant right now. I came in and ordered a double whopper with cheese and it came out very quickly but it was a single instead of a double and said double on my receipt. So I walked up and immediately the manager was beyond nice about it and let me keep both sandwiches. THAT is above and beyond customer service. I wish I knew the name of the manager who helped me but to say the least he was very respectful, very kind. This would rival Chick-fil-A customer service lol read more

If I could give a zero I most certainly would. This early morning upon getting off work early I decided to go to Burger King. So I approach drive thru and begin to place my order. I went for the buy one get one for $1. So I asked for two orders of the Big Fish and an order of the Impossible Whopper, large fries and large onion rings. My total was $17.77. Now upon cutting the corner and approaching window to pay I asked did you include the one for $1 He replied yes. I get to the window to pay and I gave a $20 bill and my change was $2.23. Young man hands me my order. It was one bag which I found strange, inside was 2 Big Fish and 1 Impossible Whopper. I informed him that 3 sandwiches were missing, he said I got them all. Now if it buy one get one for $1, I should have been given 6 sandwiches not three. So ok you messed up the order and you get attitude with me by walking away saying where I could hear you " You know what". Wait a minute, I started to get a little upset. So the manager comes and says they didn't hear the order like I know I said... I want 2 orders of Big Fish and 1 order of Impossible Whopper. Now you gave me 2 Big Fish but I was still missing a Impossible Whopper for $1, even though I know what I ordered. Now you ask for the $2.23 back because now I have to pay $6.54 more which absolutely made no sense. Manager could not figure out difference without me having to give change back, I asked if she needed a calculator, she said "no". Then I further said if it's a problem you can have it back and return my money. This whole time I'm getting the attitude of pain from her and her subordinate, meanwhile I can see them talking crap about me behind the closed window and it was your error not mine. Finally I said to myself let me look at my sandwiches because a couple of months ago I went to this same Burger King and bought 3 orders of Big Fish and got the 3 for free or $1, but got home to give to parties I bought for only to find out the buns were burnt. Here we are from this order this morning with a burnt bun. I informed the young man who is snotty and his reply was he can't take it back, I said where is your manager? She comes I inform her and her excuse was sometimes that happens to the buns, I handed it back to her to let her know this was unacceptable, and she replaced with bun that wasn't burnt. Now the moral of this story is Don't give me attitude because you didn't understand the order and how I said the order. If I said 2 orders that means two and I should get 2 for $1 extra each. If I say I want 1 order I should get another sandwich for $1. The concept is buy one get one for $1. You tried to have me walk away with just 3 sandwiches, telling me I am wrong and that's what I ordered. I will not be a patron of this Burger King again. I told the young man who handled my order in the first place that he had a bad attitude and he said he didn't I told him he did and he slams the window. As I said bad attitude for your error. I am not only one who has had bad experiences with this Burger King and not only one who will never purchase there again, I will travel further to get better service. It's sad you get off from a hard days work and want something fast because your tired and in no mood to cook when you finally get home. Something that should've taken a hop skip and a jump wound up taking a half an hour at the drive through window with two other cars behind me waiting for their orders because of someone else's mistake. You don't give the customer attitude for your error, you correct error and apologize so maybe that particular customer will comeback. Well you have lost a customer and several others because of your service and attitude. If I wanted 2 sandwiches, I would've plainly said 2 Big Fish, not 2 Orders of Big Fish. read more

Order food at 2:39. Have another 5 hour of drive in front of us. Thought we could just stop by for a quick snack. They made the order and didn't pass it out for 20 minutes for a simple order of bacon sandwich and veggie burger. Had to go up to the register and ask for it. This BK actually made me take notice of a few things. They went for an updated retro look, which included a cool retro type looking soda dispenser - I know - I've already said more then a soda dispenser should get, but it was really cool and it allowed them to have more choices then I've ever seen at any fast food place. It was also very clean - everywhere and someone was tending to tables and garbage - I was a bit impressed with that level of concern for fast food! The menu items were the same as any other BK, but the staff seemed a bit friendlier and even more - how do I say this - like they had brains and were not the town idiots! Seeing that the only other place is Sonic where you have to eat in your car - this was convenient, quick service and had indoor eating - what a novel concept! read more

A great pit-stop location very close to I-81, I walked in there yesterday just needing the men's restroom, and that's exactly what I got. I almost headed up to the register to buy a small pack of unsalted fries but chose at the last moment not to, as not to impede my budget for things I didn't need to buy, as I wasn't too hungry at the time. Much like the other reviewers were saying, there was a person cleaning the windows going for the "spotless approach" when I walked past her, who almost wanted to say "the restrooms are only for paying customers" - but she never did but I could feel her anxiety, because I think she felt my inner thoughts. The place looks clean, however, the floors outside the restrooms need a makeover. They are still the brown tiled flooring that most Burger Kings in my locale have in upstate NY - though I know Burger King has been redoing some branches to change this image a bit. Just quickly perusing over most of their tables as I walked in, there didn't seem to be many tables that needed much cleaning though there was one that would've needed a once-over; and coming into this city-location, I would've expected a lot more. I didn't look too far at the other "look" of the establishment, but it looks like it was an interesting place to take a few minutes breather. I'm not into "retro" much, but for my needs in this place, it looked like it was a worthwhile visit for the few minutes I was there. read more

This Burger King knocks it out of the park consistently. I'm amazed that I am saying that about a fast food place. It's clean inside, drive through moves fast and the food is way better than any other BK that I've been at. I would never EVER review a fast food joint but this YELP is about service and cleanliness over any food. I don't typically eat at quick casual dining, but we needed to stop to use a bathroom on the way up through I-81 North. My fiancee and her friends used the women's bathroom and I, of course, used the men's. I was absolutely shocked how clean the men's restroom was when entering. It smelled of fresh lemon and was spotless. However, it's really the women's bathroom that was the story. My fiancee and her friends exited and commented on the woman cleaning the bathroom. There had been an accident (apparently a real mess) and she was cleaning it up. From their report, she was like a chemist cleaning up the mess and putting forth a work ethic they have never witnessed. They did not get her name but we just wanted to say that this woman deserves a MASSIVE raise and/or promotion and a day off at the spa. I have been trying to call this franchise but the number listed keeps giving a busy tone. If the franchisee looks at these yelps please message me I would like to speak with you about your employees and overall management. We were there between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm on Thursday 3/26. Please praise this employee and give her some sort of reward since she and/or the rest of your staff who performs cleaning duties really do a fantastic job. It really shows the work ethic and pride in your work still lives on this day of age. As my old bar manager says, the food of the restaurant is reflective of how the bathroom looks. read more

I want to thank the BK team, especially John and Jenn, for helping me relocate my purse. I forgot it last Sunday afternoon on our drive back to Canada and I didn't realize it was missing until we got to the border. Your amazing staff contacted my son to let him know they had found it and kept it safe. Then to top it off, they had it sent to me by UPS!
