Meh says it all. It's a Burger King, in Newark, and I could just stop right there. Burger King is never my favorite fast food place- always seems dirty, slow, and just doesn't have much I want to eat. This time, they were out of the one thing I kinda wanted- a frozen Coke. Seems to be common; none of the locations seem able to consistently serve frozen drinks or ice cream. So, I got a Coke. Seemed pretty expensive, at $2.25 for a medium, but maybe I am spoiled by super cheap super huge pops. The front door was propped open. Classy. The inside was dirty and noisy. Semi-controlled kids running around (not BK's fault, but gives you an idea of the atmosphere.) Very friendly and fast service- well, fast for me, just wanting a cup, basically, but others were waiting awhile. It was handy. It was okay. I won't be back. read more

went through the drive thru and sat in the first drive thru lane after seeing the car in front of me get their order taken, we sat while 5 other cars orders were taken in lane 2. backed up and went inside to order. they had a new employee with special needs taking orders with NO assistance from the manager. waited another 10 minutes for my order and the cashier was RUDE when I asked that my chicken sandwiches be cut in half (like they used to do) manager didn't offer to make it right by any means. My first experience was a 12 minute wait for 1 sandwich inside with no one else in line. They felt so bad they gave me a free desert. 2nd issue, ordered 2 sausage egg cheese croissants through Drive through, got two bacon Croissants, didn't want to turn around and go back. Third issue waited 2 minutes to order in drive thru., another 4 minutes to finally get to window. 6 min in I ask the manager (Jon) why they don't have me pull up and bring out the one sandwich I ordered so the very long line behind me could pick up and not have to wait. He told me I shouldn't complain that I have only been at the window 7 minutes (meaning if each car is at window for 7 min. they serve 4 cars in a half hr.) I wasn't even complaining, just suggesting logical ways of expediting orders. About 30 seconds later I drive away with no food. I did touch base with Burger King (Miami Home Base)and find out that this is a Franchise store (not corporate) which explains a lot. read more

So I understand they have one star, and I definitely experienced the terrible service,but I think the health department should investigate this place. I ordered a Whopper junior. I have gotten excellent, fresh ones before from this location. When I bit into this one, it was apparent that part of the topping was cabbage instead of lettuce. Had to throw this away when I got home. I called the next day and was rudely informed by the manager that they don't use cabbage. I know the difference between cabbage and lettuce. I suspect that they were running low on lettuce and sent someone to Giant Eagle across the street. Something that looked like lettuce was purchased. But it was cabbage. read more

Went back another time and it was about a 20 min wait just to order our food (Note* we were sitting at the spot to order) then after waiting that long we were told to go to the 1st window to order , then waited 15-20 mins even after that to get our food and our food was COLD when we got it. So I've been going to this burger king for years now and have loved their service. The first shift staff is great. I recently however, have switched shifts at work and now work third shift. Over the past 2 months, the thrid shift staff at this burger king have been awful. Everytime I try to order somthing after midnight, they are either short staffed or somthing is always broken down. I recently spoke with an employee that works thrid shift there and asked "why do you keep your 24 hour open sign on, if you're never fully staffed or somthing is always broken?". She then replies "I dont know how to turn off the sign and we are always short staffed at night". She then proceeds to tell me that she is filing a lawsuit with the company and will be quitting soon. So if you're looking for a quick bite to eat after midnight, I'd recommend not going to this location. They either will tell you that they are closed or somthing is broken down. read more

They have a double drive-thru but refuse to open both of them. You have to sit in line for literally 30 minutes to even get spoken too. They are supposed to have the lobby unlocked for delivery orders, of course they do not. when trying to get help from an employee you're literally just told "sorry I can't help you". Terrible service on 11/23/17! Employee in drive thru just kept saying "is that it!" after everything I ordered. Then said "they were out of fries"! I finally got to the window, paid, was handed my card back with receipt with no words at all from her. When I was handed my bag of food, she just walked away saying nothing! Can't believe how poor her service was! Tried this Heath location again on 8/17/18. The Drive Thru line was wrapped around the building, 6 people waiting for food inside, untrained and inexperienced employees, an employee saying she's "ready to walk", no one was given a receipt, and there was no ice or Coke in the freestyle machine. The Burger King's in Newark and Heath need some serious management changes! I've never come to either of these once where they weren't out of something! Service inside was good today 4/2/19. I've had bad service here in the past, so mangers must have changed. Ordered the new Stacker Double sandwich with fries and drink. Fries were good, hot, and fresh (just out of the fryer). Had to wait on the Stacker sandwich to be made and it was still served barely warm. Did not like the sauce on the Stacker (not as good as Mc sauce). Meal here in Heath's BK was just OK, but still much better than BK on 21st street in Newark. read more

This is the only place I have ever been to that won't let you place 2 separate orders thru the drive thru!! And when you have already waited 20 minuets for the first order driving around a second time is not even worth the Consumure having a meltdown!! And not to mention the Heath Burger King has not had receipt paper for over a month!! This is such a hassle with my job where every penny must be accounted for AND if your gonna badmouth a customer you might wanna close the drive thru window before you start spouting off to the manager on how I was pissed off that he wouldn't take a second order and that was the only reason I was asking for a receipt!!! Im only giving one star because I have to. Ive had 2 bad experiences with this place. Both are with the 1st shift employees. The 2nd time I went, I decided to give it another try. I ordered my food, and before I was able to tell her what my next item was she told me my total. When I told her that I still had more on my order, she told me "Order then", like I was wasting her time. I very quickly told her that I would go somewhere else, and that I didn't need her attitude. NOW I'm done with this place... Today was the icing on the cake! Again, the woman at the drive-thru acted like I was wasting her time when I was looking for the exact change. My last visit was with my daughter, and she acted the same way - always in a hurry, not concerned with the customer's time or possible reaction. The time before, there was plastic in my croissanwich, and I reviewed them then. I think I'm the most patient person on the planet (OR I love ham, egg & cheese croissanwiches too much) to give this place so many chances. Never again - I'll go out of my way and try 21st Street in Newark. Hope they aren't the same owners!
