If you visit late at night, conventional wisdom says that you'll fall victim to a "Mugger King." Maybe it's true. You'll never know unless you try. Personally I think it's pretty safe. I do like Whoppers but this location rubs me wrong sometimes, and there's also a lot of passive aggressive signs, both on the inside and outside which is quite unusual for a burger king. Makes it seem a little less welcoming. Still, I do love the Whopper. I just don't think it's as big or fresh or smoky tasting as it used to be. On 07/19 at 10:41pm I went with my family after a evening out at the park and wanted to try the ice cream. I went thru drive-thru they told me machine wasn't working I said thank you and left. I then called and asked if their ice cream machine was working the person said they shut it down at 7pm. I asked can i speak to the manager he said I'm the manager and i asked for the name he said Carlos. I told him I know you not the manager but i have a question is it working or not because I got told it wasn't not that it was shut off at 7pm. He was talking to somebody else and i hung up the call. Today 07/20 I called the number that comes out for that location spoke told a young lady she told me their manager is not Carlos but she would refer the message. I stopped by here this passed week, in the midst of traveling to another destination, so when my destination was interrupted, I decided to stop by this Burger King for a ground beef burger and onion rings before the turkey and stuffing day happened. The burger was fine. The onion rings were fine, although it seemed they were somewhat different from the usual signature tasting onion rings over years, past. Mine onion rings seemed less crispy and lighter, but was sufficient. In noticing the menu, I just had to have a cola and cherry ICEE. This little meal worked well and was on time for pre-thanksgiving turkey. I chose Burger King knowing I had not eaten here in awhile, having to watch budgeting with other things occurring in the US, today. I must say too, my order was ready fast. I went to the location on 2411 Wayside to pick up a rideshare order. Today it it 101 degrees. I needed water to take medication and only ordered a burger to eat. I asked for a small cup of water and ice. The cashier told me that he had no more cups so I'd have to purchase a bottled water. I then asked for only a cup of ice and he told me I'd have to pay for ice. I told him to disregard my order as I only waited for my order and knew that Chick-fil-A in the vicinity would give me a complimentary order. I also explained that I wouldn't want him to get in trouble for giving me water, ice or a cup. My issue was as I waited for the order the cashier brought another young man who asked what was the issue. I explained but told him I'm only waiting for my order. A third person who appeared to be the manager asked me again about my conversation with the two gentlemen. I explained there was no issue, as I am waiting on my order. She again explained if water, ice or cup is needed I'd have to pay. I again said I understand. However in Español, she began ridiculing me with her staff. When I said excuse and interrupted she realized I understood Spanish, the laughter ceased as she immediately gave me my order. Lesson learned: Some African Americans not only speak Spanish but some are actually Hispanic. They need to stop the foolery and be professional. read more

Could do with some work here. Great that they have a mobile ordering option now, but it is still just a burger king. I placed a pretty simple order and it sat for a while before calling out my number. I think my sandwich had been sitting there for a few minutes before I finally got it. My order was wrong. The wall was striped next to my table, that was not cleanliness. My Whopper was tasty. I went to the restroom and a man did not lock the restroom. I even ran because the man was getting something off the floor near the toilet. When I got home I noticed my order was placed wrong on the ticket. It's Burger King. Nothing special but it was subpar for a Burger King. Hadn't been to a BK sober, in the daytime in about two years. I felt I needed a Texas double whopper to balance out the oatmeal I had for breakfast. Service was fast and on point. Burger and fries were as expected. I rarely drink soda and when I do it's diet, but I'll have a real coke fountain drink about once or twice a year. I decided today was a good day since I had already thrown caution to the wind when I ordered that Texas double whopper. To my dismay the coke machine began to sputter like a bad case of the Hershey squirts about half way up on my small coke. Not a big deal, I'll go back to diet. Most of the open tables had not been wiped down or cleaned, not a big deal I found the clean one. So I'm sitting here eating my whopper and regretting my decision to visit BK while sober and I noticed the spider webs on the light fixture. I realize that it's fake webbing left over from Halloween, normally this wouldn't be a big deal but it's December 22. If I actually start nitpicking this place I would be here for another hour. The first time I ordered the #1 whopper, cheese, no onions, and a water. Soda would add a lot more taste, but I don't drink soda. Anyways, the second time I ordered the same thing, but my high ass forgot to take off the onions. Beside the point, I started with the fries, and yes, I'm one of those guys. A quick grab before heading back to work was my motivation to stop here. The second motivation was to get a cheap meal--around $3 bucks. I figured I'd get the 10 for $1.49 nuggets and onions rings--enough to make it through the work day. I was surprised that my order was over $4. I inquired the crew member about the price which she informed was the regular price and the nuggets were no longee on sale. I could have easily left and went to Chick-fil-A around round the corner, but the place wasn't too busy and clean, I was waited on immediately and the crew member was friendly, so I decided to keep my order. However, they were a little stingy on the sauce. When I asked for one, the container had some substance hanging off of it. I refused to take it and was given another one. Additiobally, I asked for sauce for my nuggets which they clearly note by the register that you get two. The crew member seemed agitated about my request, but no matter - just give me what I'm suppose to get, which she did eventually. Food stayed warm until I drove to work and tasted like fast food, so low expectations of course, but it was decent. And I'll stop my review with that same sentiment-decent. read more

Terrible! I am fuming! My boyfriend and I who have lived in this neighborhood all of our lives went this evening to go inside and order some food. ALL OF THE DOORS WERE LOCKED, and we didn't know why since it clearly states that the dining room is open until 10pm. We went thru the drive thru and asked why they were locked and this little girl argued with us saying they weren't locked. We pulled up to the front and and she opened the door from the inside. We walked in and my BF was going to go to the bathroom before we ordered and she stated that it was out of order BC there was water everywhere. My boyfriend looked inside and it was dry as a bone-it had just been cleaned. It was obvious that they didn't want anyone in the dining area or in the bathrooms at 8pm BC they had already cleaned up for the night. The dining area doesn't close until TEN!! Then when I asked for her franchise owner's name, she said she didn't know and that I had to call back tomorrow and get it. I asked for her name and she would not tell me. She stated, "I don't have to tell you!"...with a smirk on her face! The audacity! I informed her that I would be contacting the manager and owner tomorrow and she said, "go ahead, I won't get fired anyway" !! I am appalled!
