The staff do everything they can to please their customers, the food is always fresh and delivered hot, and virtually every cook they have listens when a customer requests "no black pepper, please". That is rare in any other diner anywhere!(some of us are allergic to it). I'm going to sound snarky and mean with my next comment, but this needs to be said. The diner has always had a Giving Tree where customers could donate a meal to people who need help. I regularly gave every time I visited the diner. None of the homeless or destitute people were ever a problem, until this year. One homeless woman has literally moved into the first booth in the diner. I made the mistake of speaking to her once when I went into the restroom while she was in there. It's a multi-stalled room. I wasn't aware she was in there. She let me know I was rude and unwelcome! Lets just leave it at the woman is physically aggressive, verbally abusive and stays there the entire time the diner is open. Her belongings are outside on the sidewalk in her line of sight and are growing in size. As I don't want to be attacked again, I will not go back. So, BE AWARE OF THE AGGRESSIVE HOMELESS WOMAN if you choose to go there.
