To the point that I missed out As with all Boxpark eateries the venue is predominately takeout, there is very limited seating inside. The menu is a standard affair for a place that sells ribs. There are pork ribs, burgers, wings and several side options. The portion size was ok, I didn't feel the need to eat again afterwards. Service was prompt and they got my order right, I always find that to be a bonus!! It's the only eatery of its type in the venue so if you fancy ribs it's good to go. It operates-in line with all the other eatery's, you get your food and sit out in the main eating area. All in all it does what it says on the tin, ribs and lots of them.

So, we decided to get something for takeaway rather than wait. At the takeaway window the guy was disorganised and took a unnecessarily long time to take our order. Then when placing the order based on what was on the menu he said that changed. In this case a child's menu item that was supposed to come with hash browns. But it turns out it doesn't anymore. Then update your menu! So, he charged us for a side of hash browns. Then after getting the terrible service, from the dismissive guy working, they charged a service fee. Seriously? A 4.40 service fee for being slow and doing a terrible job. So my friend went to talk to the manager about the service charge and not providing items on the menu, the person he spoke to kept trying to dismiss him because they were "busy" and didn't have time to address his issue. Eventually he did get the service charge and hash browns refunded. After all this the breakfast burritos were ok at best. Large does not always equal good. And being busy is not an excuse for bad service.

Unfortunately for Tandoori Corner, they're located very close to Bunga Raya, my favourite Malaysian buffet restaurant. However, last Friday, my sister and I arrived at Bunga Raya to find that they were undergoing renovation, which presented the perfect chance for me to suggest getting a takeaway from Tandoori Corner. They have a wide range of meat and vegetarian curries as well as briyanis. There is also a selection of different rices and breads to accompany the curries. We had a meat bhuna and meat makhani with chicken briyani and some parathas. The taste of the curries lived up to the smells - lots of fresh spices, herbs and proper masalas had obviously gone into the making of these curries. What made it even more amazing was the price. Each meat curry was only £3.50 for a very big box of meat-heavy curry. I love it when a place lives up to all that mental promise that you put onto it!
