This Burger King is centrally located on Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst. This fast food establishment is surrounded by other fast food competitors. So many food options on this road - morning and night! Unfortunately, my review will add to other negative ones. I'll preface this with saying that my expectations for fast food establishments are very low. I arrived to this fast food place on Sunday well before dinner. There were very few guests inside and outside in the drive thru. I decided to order in the drive thru. I arrived at the drive thru and waited for a very long time. I reached out with a greeting a few times. No one ever accepted the order through the drive thru. I think the employees forget they're at work. I've been ignored at the drive thru, saw an employee talking on the phone & cussing while handing me my food, and heard a loud "UGH! The Burger King in Mayfield Hts has to be the worst restaurant on the planet. Service is horrible. Many times you sit at the drive thru order area for up to 10 minutes waiting for your order to be taken. I went there on a Saturday night at around 9:30pm when I pulled up to the speaker to place a drive thru order a voice came on and told me they were not taking any orders. This restaurant is the slowest Burger king on the planet! I've lived near it for 6 years and it hasn't improved at all. If there is more than one car in line at the front of the restaurant I don't even bother attempting it! Very regularly even if I'm the only one in line at the front of the restaurant they will say hold please and then leave me there for 5 minutes. The soft speaker voice was difficult to understand. I think she said the store was out of beef, but fish and chicken sandwiches were available. What?? So I went for the Jr. Chicken sandwich. I hadn't had a BK forever, and I'd never had a chicken sandwich, so I tried something different. The nice employee at the window asked me to pull up and wait. A lot of cars went around me. I walked into an empty restaurant at 6:05. The girl who waited on me barely looked at me and seemed completely uninterested. I get that pushing buttons isn't thrilling, but their demeanor was downright indignant. An amoeba would have been faster than the women working there-- and whatever they were doing, it definitely wasn't making my food. After 13 minutes, I tried to get one of their attention, only to be ignored. At that point I gave up and left, having paid for a meal I never received. Fifteen minutes for a single combo meal. Honestly, it would have been quicker to catch my own food, butcher it, and cook it myself. The women working here were dismissive, inefficient, contemptuous, and unapologetically inattentive. Ok so I go up to the drive through at 8 PM and I order an impossible whopper with specifically NO MAYO. So she takes my order and I drive up to the window and the next girl says, "$15.36" in a super sassy tone. I don't like when people use that tone on me, so I said, "Why are you so mad?" I am very sad to say that the one good service at this location is slipping. On my last several visits something fell short of expectations. I suppose the most glaring of these is speed and or accuracy of service. I would understand these issues if the place was busy. On my last 3 visits it took around 10 minutes to get food and there were no other customers. On one occasion after a wait my order was not right. The lacks of speed also causes me to notice things like the napkin dispenser being empty and the Coke Zero being out. I hope the franchise owner and management will take a hard look at how this location is being run and make some much needed changes. read more

My order was incorrect. I ordered a whopper with cheese, sm fries, 8 piece nugget. On my receipt it says 1 whopper chs. My order was given to someone else, Mr. Hassen gives me my fries, than later says to me you have the rest of your order. I told him I only got the fries. Finally I received my whopper without cheese ( I asked for cheese) and my nuggets. The whopper had no mayo at all on it, the sandwich looks like it was just thrown together. I ask Hassen where is my cheese, he says "I did not charge you for cheese", however it is on my receipt. I waited for my order 45 minutes. I do not recommend going to this place mainly on weekends because when you sit at the drive-through they'll say they'll be right with you in a few minutes well that few minutes will turn into a half an hour or an hour so pack your patience and be prepared especially On weekends when they are short staff & customers are placeing big orders enough to order the entire menu. read more

Well I went down to this burger king last night, ordered a Whopper. It was good! One problem was that the lettuce tasted sus. I think someone put their shoes in the tub of lettuce. Okay so when I went to Burger King today for their new dollar tacos my expectations were very low to begin with, but what they served up was even worse than that. Heinous is the only word to describe these flat, dried out (and I asked for fresh tacos so these weren't even sitting around), deflated garbage I was handed. We all know the pictures are never going to be close to what the actual product looks like (except for Culvers), but look at the pictures I have attached because in this case they truly are just full of crap. I will not go back to Burger King because if they have the nerve to serve up this garbage well they can serve it up to someone else. Clearly Burger King could care less about their customers and they will no longer get my business. There is a McDonald's right next store and as we sat there in the empty dining room I watched a full parking lot at McDonald's and a busy drive-thru. Stopped to get breakfast since McDonalds is closed for renovations. I asked for the sausage egg and cheese combo with a large order of homefries. Instead of charging me the value meal price I was charged as if they were separate orders and was given a small order of potatoes, I paid over $16 and still got the wrong food. I wasn't given a receipt so I didn't realize the double charge until I got home. This isn't the first time this has happened. They routinely get it wrong. I was at the drive-through for the Mayfield Hgts. BK on Wednesday night, 4/14/21, and purchased a Whopper with bacon and no cheese or onions. After paying and pulling up to the pickup window, the 2 girls at the window booth had their masks down under their chins. I asked that they please pull their masks up, as they handed me my bag. I looked in the bag and saw there was no napkin or receipt and asked for both. Aparently, asking that they pull their masks up upset them. One of the girls said, "you ain't getting no receipt. Our printer is broke", in a very rude tone. I asked for some napkins again and the other girl walked away from the window for a second and come back, shoving a wad of like 15 napkins through the window for me. I took the napkins and drove away from the window. While still in the parking lot I checked the burger and saw it had cheese and onion on it. I pulled bag into the drive-through line and waited the 10 minutes it took to get to the speaker. The girl manning the speaker said she can't serve me because the system was down. I explained what was the issue and she said to pull up. She was very nice. I got around to the window and the two girls had their masks down again. The girl with the plain mask asked what the problem was in a rude tone, and I relayed the issue and she took the bag. I again asked if they could pull their masks up when the girl with the tye dye mask said to me, "you don't have your mask up", I said that I'm in my car and I'm not preparing someone else's food. She just stated at me without putting her mask up. After I got my burger I opened the bag to sees if it was correct. It didn't have any bacon on it but at that point i didn't care. I asked again for the receipt, hoping the printer was back up. The girl with the tye-dye mask said, "I told you bitch, you ain't getting no receipt, now what part don't you understand?", at which point I asked for the manager. The girl in the plain mask said he's busy and isn't coming to the window and told me to move along. I repeated, I want the manager, and I'm not leaving until he comes to the window. There was a large black male who moves in veiw, watching what was going on and I asked if he was the manager. I was told by the girl with the pain mask in an escalated voice, that no, he wasn't. Then was told, he's busy, and if my order's good, I need to leave. I repeated I wasn't leaving without speaking to the manager. A heavy set white guy named Richard came to the window and identified himself as the manager. I began to explain my complaint, like he didn't know already, and he rudely asked what did I want him to do about it? I asked if it isn't a problem when some little snot is downright rude to a customer to which the girl with the tye-dye mask lept toward the window yelling, "bitch, I'll beat yo' ass", as the other girl attempts to hold her back with her hand over the other girls mouth. Richard didn't even flinch. I asked him for the district manager's name and he said he's not allowed to give that information out, so I might as well leave. I went to mc donald's today at 2PM but saw that the line of cars went into the street so I went to burger king which is right next to mc donald's. There were two cars in front of me. I got to the speaker and I was asked to wait. I waited for a few minutes and the girl or woman never got back to ask what I wanted to order. I said hello and she finally took my order. After a few hours shopping at the plazas in the area, I was excited at the chance to use the coupons I just received in the mail for burger king. The front of the store faces the side street while the main entrance for the parking lot and drive thru are facing Mayfield. I pulled in and looked for close parking to easily get my toddler and infant out with me for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, there are only 5 spaces in the front of the building for general parking (there is handicapped parking as well) and they were all occupied. I drove around again to see if maybe I missed some parking or an entrance on the back side of the building. There were no cars parked in the back of the building. As I pulled around again, I could see there were no other customers dining in. So that meant, the parking lot that was closest and most accessible to the entrance was taken up by the employees! I decided against parking in back and went to another restaurant instead. On my way back home, I passed this burger king again and saw the same cars parked up front, an hour later. That seemed to prove my theory. Unfortunately, the parking wasn't accessible for me to dine in and enjoy a nice lunch with my family. If the employees begin parking on the other side, perhaps more people could try to dine in during the day. read more
