Went through drive up for my free whopper from filing out the review and bought jalapeno bites and a rootbeer. Wanted a strawberry shake but they don't have them. I've never had issues with burger king food before but this time the food was disappointing! The chicken sandwiches and chicken fries were gross and mushy , I broke the chicken down to inspect and that stuff was not even chicken at least from my perspective , it was like it was all mashed together, breaded then frozen and placed in a microwave. The bread was bigger than the burger my son got , the onion rings had no onions just onion flavored (I tore that apart too to inspect ) and all I know is I spent so much money to make me realize I would never ever eat at any Burger King ever again. The food I ordered from this location was actually correct and hot. The staff however, particularly on this day had a chop On their shoulders because they acted as if it was an inconvenience for them to have to serve me. It is very evident that management does not care about how the customers treated or the quality of food that is put out but rather than just how much money can they make. read more

Drive-thru. Lunchtime. At a fast-food restaurant. You expect speed. You expect efficiency. This place had neither. Two cars ahead of me and I'm waiting in the cue for 10 minutes before getting to the order box. Once I'm there it gets worse, as I'm met with dead silence and no response to shouts for three minutes. No "we'll be right with you" to let you know the machine is working, just dead silence and a flashing screen. Frustrated I pulled up and ordered at the window. I got a bonus onion ring in my French fries, but even that wasn't enough to make me want to go back to this establishment. read more

The grilled chicken sandwich was burnt you couldn't even bite into it. We got bacon cheesy bites and they were under the light way to long. They were awful. I've eaten here several times and have to say that although expectations are always low I always seem to find a new way to be disappointed with their food. It would seems that they just could care less about the product they serve. Yo this gotta be the slowest fast food place I've been too, it's three cars and it's not even rush hours, how y'all this slow.

My boyfriend and I split the Impossible Whopper medium meal as a midday snack. The meatless burger tasted like something in between a beef burger and a veggie one, but overall not bad. The burger was big enough for us to split and to hold us over until dinner time. The fry that came with our medium meal, however, definitely looked like a small/kid's size, so that was a little surprising/disappointing. We dined in, and the "cleanest" seats were the chairs by the window. The interior in general wasn't 100% clean, maybe 70% at best. It was, however, hard to tell because all of the furniture was very old and its colors had turned over time to have a sort of worn blackness on the majority of the seats. We only interacted with one staff member but she was very nice, attentive, quick, and overall made a great first impression of the place. I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands after eating and didn't notice anything too obscene or dirty, but my boyfriend also checked out the men's bathroom and said there was pee all over the floor and that it reminded him of a bad gas station bathroom, so that's no good. Overall, the food was as to be expected but the service/polite woman at the register was a pleasant surprise. It was a generally good and quick experience. read more

I ordered here twice and both times I got my food microwaved, the lettuce looked brown on my chicken sandwich.

I always eat here before work, but it's super slow. They get my order right 7/10 times. The only good thing is that I come by so much the employee manning the drive thru is nice to me. All other employees are down right rude and I don't know why they haven't been fired. read more

I waited in line for 25 min, drove home, and my daughter's burger was completely burned, so I drive back, and I explain the situation, no apology or anything, I asked if I could order fries while I was waiting, and she said "no, you have to drive through the drive through again" no way I was going to waste more time there, drove over to Sonic, surprise, they had my order right and food wasn't burned. read more

Recently I was complaining to friends about retailers thinking it's ok to correct my beliefs or general behavior. It's not like I'm sitting around going "Gee, I don't know what to think about social justice issues. I think I'll go to Starbucks; maybe they can tell me?" Actually, I won't spend my hard earned money at a certain coffee shop, or buy certain shoes, or trucks anymore. So, this was my experience this morning at the Burger King on Marine Blvd in Jacksonville. I had left the house without my customary cup of morning Joe. So I pull up to the BK on Freedom Way in Jacksonville, NC. I say to the voice on the speaker "Yeah, do you have coffe and flavored creamer?" To which the drive-through attendant says "No Sir." Disappointed that I wouldn't be getting what I really wanted, I replied "Well, that would be a good thing to sell, don't cha think?" Now, I said this in my nicest southern- ornery accent; no yelling or cussing. Just ornery. She replied "We just have iced coffee." Now, to this point everything was civil. However, without myself or the lady taking orders saying another word, what I assume was a manager got on the mic and said "We don't make the menus Sir. Please don't talk to my employees like that." Now, that was a verbatim account of this interaction. I said nothing else, pulled out of line and waved (not with a solo digit. Just a real wave) and went to Mc Donald's for my coffee. So, I lodged a complaint with Burger King, and I'm not sure why I have to explain to a retailer that I don't go there so they can correct my sense of humor or the way I express my disappointment. I go there to buy stuff, which I can do anywhere. I don't particularly like being corrected by people that have no authority in my life. I don't work for BK. I wasn't yelling, wasn't raising my voice, wasn't using profanity, and not even making personal statements against the young lady on the mic. In fact, I was about to order the stupid Iced coffee since that was all they had, but before I could even respond the manager was telling me what's what. Why do retailers think it's their privilege to tell you how to speak, or what to speak? What ever happened to customer service? What happened to "The customer is always right?" See, i wasn't being disruptive. I've had all kinds of people say odd things to me through the years. You just smile, and be as polite as you can. That's your job in a customer service profession: not telling paying customers who to act and speak. I'm ornery; always have been and always will be. I give smart-Alec answers sometimes. But, that is my business. I don't particularly understand why managers and retailers think they are the humor police? Why do they think their own personal opinion about personal conduct is something they are privileged to push on customers? The people on the complaint hotline offered my coupons for free stuff. I turned them down. She said to me "You mean you don't want coupons for free stuff for your trouble?" "No thankyou. I just want to buy stuff without people trying to correct me." In customer service professions, people need to understand that what is offensive to one person is funny to another. That's why they have to be professional and keep their personal feelings about what is acceptable to themselves. Actually, I hate fast food but I had to go to Sonic for lunch. I made the lady laugh so hard in line that she brought me a free slushy before I even got to the window. Better believe I'll go back there. So, I'll drive the 1/4 mile more to Mc D's from now on. ... Got exactly what I wanted at Mc Donald's, by the way; a medium coffee, 2 creamers, and a shot of vanilla. read more
