Burgers are much larger than Cook Out Burgers down the street but also more expensive but fairly priced. Finally a place in NC where I can find a green chile cheeseburger. Now the only issue is they try to make it posh by adding garlic aioli type spread. The problem is this overwhelms the subtle flavors of the green chile. If you are familiar with the pleasures of a good green chile cheeseburger ask for no sauce. This will get you to Colorado quality, but sadly not New Mexico quality. Also don't expect much heat. The chiles seem to be on the mild side so you get just a bit of heat mixed with the wonderful flavor of the chile. If they fire roasted them it would take it up a notch. Their tater tots and shoe string fries are lovely and crisp and not the pale fries you get elsewhere. One thing they could do is back off on the salt on the tots. All in all a surprising find in NC worth another trip. read more

It was pretty thoughtful for the cooks to remove half the ingredients on my california grilled sandwich even though it wasn't what I requested, they probably just care about customer health. The low work ethic server was really nice when I tried to tell her my order was entirely messed up, she even sucked her teeth and walked away before I could finish telling her. Should probably hire people that want to actually work instead of employing someone who believes that things should just be given to them because they believe themselves to be entitled. Ok, so I love trying each new business when it opens. This location has only been open for a few weeks at the most, but you'd never know that by walking in. The dining room is large, and there is plenty of space for lots of tables and walking around. The decor is bright bot not overbearing. The counter ladies were nice and gave us time to look over their menu. By the way, they have the tiny nugget ice for their soda coke machine. I know lots of people enjoy that type of ice. I got the avocado bacon burger. There was plenty of avocado. They do not scrimp on that. It was a large burger. Cost about 13.50 with fries and med drink. They serve the shoestring fries with salt and pepper seasoning. They have a house made fry dip that was amazing to try. Overall was a good amount of food for the price. I went in with the low expectations thinking it would be just another fast food chain. On the contrary, I was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant has its own mini parking lot along with a drive through with employees standing outside to help those that don't want to enter. Walking in, its very busy and there is plenty of seating ranging from high tops, regular tables, and booths. I liked that there was such a large variety of dipping sauces:) My favorite was the cheese sauce(cost a little more but well worth it) The manager on duty went above and beyond to ensure that my family was able to enjoy the Commander vs Eagles game .. it was proving to be more challenging than just turning the channel but she stuck with it and I really appreciated that effort- and we were above to have a really nice family dinner-it really showed that she cared that my family had the best service that she and her team could offer. I ordered from Jaggers today. This is the first time I've eaten here. Ordered a Cobb Salad online, added the shoestring fries and cheese sauce as a side. I got an email stating I should hit the "I'm Here" button on the email when I arrived. I did that just as I was parking. The response says they will get your order ready. When I walked in to the online order desk, they immediately handed me my order. When I got out to the car, I noticed the french fries and the cheese sauce were both very cold. Clearly they had been sitting there 10-15 minutes. I would have assumed the whole reason they ask you to check in when you arrive is because they will THEN get things like hot french fries and hot cheese sauce packed up (so they are fresh AND HOT)! Maybe even fix your drink at that time so you don't have 15 minutes of melted ice in your drink. But I guess that isn't their plan. The salad was good. But I clearly won't order online and pick up food from there again. In fact, not sure I'd go back again anyway. It's kind of a "no-brainer" to serve hot fries and not let ice melt in drinks for waiting online orders. But apparently they don't agree. At least they weren't trained that way. This is fairly new in Jacksonville. I have never heard of it so I decided to try it. I went through the drive up. I didn't plan on lunch and after looking at the prices I ended up trying what I love.... a banana split milk shake. The young order girl was very sweet and helpful and giving me suggestions. I did notice that she had no seat. I guess it is usually busy, but not today. The shake was $5. Got to the pay area and that girl was very polite and friendly. I thought maybe she knew me because she was that sweet. I left and ended up driving back because I swear I was given a chocolate shake. The sweet girl did not make the first one and asked if I would like another. She said there should be chunks of banana in it. I said yes to making a new one because I can't taste any banana, pineapple, strawberry... nothing but chocolate. She made a new one and it tasted the same. I have Banana Split ice cream in my freezer now and I am telling you that shake is not banana split. The girl was very nice and even asked if I wanted a different one or my money back. I said no, and drove off with the one I had thinking maybe as I get down further in the shake I will taste different flavors. NO. So, next time I will try a different flavor. Maybe it is just the ice cream they use, I do not know. I will go in and try a spicy chicken sandwich next time I am near Jaggers. The food isn't the problem, it's the service regarding the restrooms. There wasn't a single paper towel to dry my hands. To say nothing about the three gender neutral restrooms that are available. I don't know what the people in the other two restrooms were doing but they didn't leave the restrooms the entire time I was there eating. Effectively making one restroom for the entire restaurant.
