The food and service has improved a little in 2023. Maybe they have a new owner. But this place is never open on time. Add at least 30 minutes to the opening time. The employees show up right at the opening time (if not late) and don't respond to the drive thru for a while after they are "open". Just go to McDonald's. read more

Tried eating the fries on the way home, they had so much salt they were inedible. You couldn't put that amount of salt on accident. I've never left a review of a national fast food chain, but I can't hold my tongue any longer. Honestly, I don't know how this place can stay in business and/or keep their franchise rights. To be honest, we really only go through this BK for breakfast because the McDonald's next door is even worse. It is always SOMETHING with this restaurant. I went through the drive up yesterday and ordered a sausage biscuit meal. I was rudely told that they are out of biscuits (this isn't the first time), and only had croissants and muffins. So I say I'll take the croissant meal with a Diet Coke. Then she tells me (like I'm bothering her, and she's had to say these things ALL morning) that they don't have fountain drinks because the machine is down. With as much restraint as possible I said "what is going on in there?? Very poor management, I'll go somewhere else". This is just my experience on this one day. The past visits have not been pleasant either. I wonder how often the owner pops in, or if they wonder why their sales are awful. Guess they just don't care. As many people that are out of work these days, you'd think they could get some decent help, even for fast food work. It's my own fault, because I keep giving them more chances to redeem themselves. The employees are NEVER nice, and make you feel like you're interrupting whatever fun they are having inside. Monee really needs a decent fast food breakfast. We finally got a Taco Bell/KFC which is great for lunch, but this franchise doesn't do the breakfast thing. July 12 2016 update; they seem to do way better at the drive thu. Been there a few times and got decent food and very fast. It seems to depend on the time of day on food quality. Horrible service! Went here with a friend and went inside to have a quick sit down burger and chat. It took 40 minutes for our order to come! I'm NOT exaggerating on the time! 40 minutes! The manager apologized and gave us 1 free desert pie. Why would you just give us 1 free pie, both of us had to wait the 40 minutes! So we flipped a coin and I got the pie. After 30 minutes we asked for our money back, but the manager refused and said she could not do such a thing! The food was warm, but not hot. Food was below average especially waiting 40 minutes. Decided a month later to go through the drive thru, and they messed up my order. I specifically asked for onion rings, but got COLD french fries instead. The burger was dry and bun looked like someone sat on it. Horrible. There is a reason when you drive by this BK during lunch or dinner, it looks abandoned. Very few cars, when other fast food places right next doors are super busy. I guess the locals in town know to stay away from this BK. My recommendation is to stay as far away from this BK as possible. It's just not worth it, especially because there are many other food choices within 1 block that serve decent fast food. Went through drive through and had a bad experience. Not only was the cashier rude, we were asked to park in thr front and our food would be taken out to us. This place is a chronic mess. I work nearby and have stopped trying to have lunch there because of how long it takes. LONG. I went there tonite for the 2-for-1 chicken sandwich deal they had on their giant street sign (and only ONE car in the parking lot--what could go wrong?) I got to the counter and they told me the deal was expired YESTERDAY. I pointed to the 30 foot sign at the curb and they said they haven't had time to take it down yet. This is by far the worst Burger King that I have ever been to! If you are white don't even bother coming, it is the most racist place I've ever encountered! When they see that you are white, they will make up excuses why they can't serve you, "the cash register isn't working, the computers are down, the boss said not to serve burgers before whatever time it is that you are there and on and on!!! It's a typical Burger King but outdated. The interior and pop machines need an upgrade. Also the a/c isn't working too well. The service was quick and the food order was correct so I'm not complaining . There's truck parking in the rear and a play area for the kids inside. read more

The food was consistent with all other Burger King locations for the most part. The fries were too salty, and the put pickles when I specifically asked for no pickles. I waited over 5 min to get my burgers and fries. The place is extremely dated. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I saw the employee wash his hands after using the bathroom. read more

I looked up the hours to this location and it said 6-12. We sat in the drive thru for 10 min then pulled up to the window and the employee was pounding coffee in the coffee maker. We then tried to go inside but the door was locked. The employee seemed oblivious to her surroundings. We tried the drive thru one more time and knocked on the window because she was still there and she looked at us and ignored us and walked away. This is the second time we've been to this location and the second time being dissatisfied with service. If your location opens at a certain time it should open at that said time. I wish that I could zero stars. There is nothing redeeming about this nasty shiathole. The dinning room is littered with empty trays and random bits of trash because all of the garbage cans are full and spilling onto the floor. The floor itself is dirty and sticky. The windows are streaked and filthy. And this is all before you even order. I should have left at that point, but I went ahead and ordered a Whopper(w/t no mayo) and a diet Coke. Not the most complicated order in the world, but somehow this took the turds in the back, 15 minutes to make. 15. Minutes. For a Whopper without mayo and a diet coke. The store was not even that busy. And the real kicker is that this was not a "flame broiled" whopper. The patty was taken out of a steam tray, the burger was assemble, and the entire mess was heated in a microwave(with the veggies on it, making them soggy, lukewarm and gross). Because I was now running behind, I grabbed my burger and left to eat it on the road. As I started to pull out of the parking lot, I took one bite of it and spit it out. Not only was it in-edible, but it was slathered with mayo. Warm mayo which had been in the microwave. Some other things that I saw while I was there were bathrooms that had not been cleaned in some time; a tray of half eaten food next to the register that the clerk made no effort to clean up; one of the morons in back dropped an entire shake on the floor and didn't even try to clean it up; and people in the drive through were practically rioting because the slow services(horn honking, people getting out their cars to yell the staff and each other). They don't have drive up for the IL handicap drivers just lately. I was told to come in the store while dealing with my leg health problems. Here is one for the books of Burger King as much as i love there burgers . The server told me get out your car come in I reply said why when you have a drive up-window. She reply-- We closed it today and this is not the first time in my visit there for this to happen it was 3 to 4 times in 6 months again. So i must ask why do they have a drive thru window for customers in the area near my home in Monee IL. My personal way I see it the manager should be fired & the store owner should be inform of this or staff members replaced that is doing this in Monee IL . This was some of the worse's treatment display by a major American restaurant chain. I filed a major complaint to the headquarters of Burger King as well case # PBX46 I am no joke when I visit any restaurant and paying my money for great service. This is one of the worst Burger Kings I have ever been to. I got two whoppers, a large coke, and chicken nuggets today (9/9/17) and waited at least seven or eight minutes for my food. Now don't get me wrong, I will more than happily wait however long it takes if it means fresh food but in this instance that was not the case. The chicken nuggets were so old and past their serve time that I was able to snap them in half like a potato chip. Both of my whoppers were barely lukewarm with garnishments that looked as if they had been kept in the freezer (clear onions and wilted lettuce/tomatoes. The only thing that was good out of my order was the coke. This is not the first time I've had food like this from there and I honestly should've known better but it is just proven fact that nothing has changed with this particular Burger King. Just did a review on the mcdonalds down the street and here i am at the worst burger king known to man. Service is the worst.. Drive thru they make you pull up even though there is no one behind you and still wait 7 mins (timed) for a simple double cheeseburger and a medium coke. The one credit I will give them is they always have the order right when I get it. Monee is having a tough time with the fast food chains, but soon a new taco bell and Kfc will be opening soon. My favorite thing to do when I come home from work is to see if this burger king shuts all their lights off before 930. Slugs don't even want to work! Good luck if you go there.... read more
