Every time I have ordered (either using the mobile app or drive-thru), my order has been correct and everyone at the window has been SO kind and polite. It's quite unfortunate how inconsistent, slow, and unprofessional this McDonald's location is. It's sad to say, "why am I surprised?" Right off the top, why is this the only McDonald's that charges a dollar for one dipping sauce? When has that been done before? Why are they doing this? Not to mention, they get quite rude whenever you interact with this location. This location usually has a long line at its drive thru. I have sat in it a few times and it's not that bad, it's the inside and the pick up orders that take a millennium. I placed my order 20 minutes prior to showing up at their location, and still waited about 10 minutes before getting it. This was also at 11:30pm. I noticed 5 employees inside. This isn't okay. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, but it's the only one nearby in the area, and it's right off of the freeway. Truckers, and travelers, don't get your hopes up with this one. Stopped here for breakfast today. What a mistake! They shouldn't be surprised that fewer people are coming in the morning when they can't get a simple coffee order correct. They don't even follow company practices. Every other McDonalds I go to puts a paper tag on the side of the cup with what should go in it, e.g. how many sugars and creams. No tag, she tried to wing it from memory, and failed. Of course this was only discovered when I was several miles down I-57! Are there still area managers in this company? Why do these people still operate at such a poor level? If this is a company store (not a franchise) mistakes like this shouldn't be happening. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Yuck! There really is no other way to describe this. Got off the plane at O'Hare and needed to get on the road right away. I was hungry and with limited food options stopped here. Got the quarter pounder with extra pickles and small coke. The Coke seemed like it was sweeter than normal. The quarter pounder cheese was not melted and the burger as a whole was barely warm. What did I learn today? If it wasn't illegal, I would have thrown this food out the window after the first bite. read more

I went there yesterday morning, ordered a #9( steak bagel,hash br & drink). It took 25 minutes, for the order, cause the young lady working the drive thru was busy doing nothing, but patting her maroon dreads, the other young lady working the register, needed help. The guy in the back making sandwiches was just lost. I don't know if it's the weekend crew,or just a bad day, cause I usually get my order & be gone. Could I give a zero star! Late night says 24 hour drive thru...a car in front of us, as well as us was told she is not taking drive through orders and you need to come inside. I am so sick of this McDonalds. I usually stop here on a Saturday. The only drive thru that takes forever. I have pulled out and walked in thinking it may be faster, not the case. I was there yesterday hoping it would be better. Nope! 25 minutes between drive thru and going inside. To make things worse, they left the bacon off of my Big Mac, and the bun didn't taste fresh. I was down the road by the time I noticed my food wasn't right. That's the last time I will go there. This McDonald's is a joke.. the workers are very rude and ignorant. Cellphones and headphones are out and on all the time and they act like it's asking for a miracle to order. I ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich. It was burnt and dry and they didn't want to give me my receipt we asked for it twice and the worker just shook her head. The only pro about this place is it's convenient location to potentially swing through on your way to work, except going through the drive thru never takes less than 10 minutes, they'll almost certainly mess up your order, and it always seems like the shit just hit the fan right before you got there. And don't even think of trying to multitask and get a coffee while your car fills up, the wait in the dining room is worse and you have a front row view of the circus. Does McDonald's corporate do audits of their restaurants? Because there's no way this one passes. read more

Reading all these reviews had me in doubt until I lived it. Took a long time for me to order, and when I received my order, I was asking the employee for extra sugar and ignored me. The only problem is that you always wait forever no matter what time it is or night and sometimes you even get your food cold even when there's nobody there and you know that it was just made fresh but don't understand why people feel the need to take forever it's fast food. Nothing "fast" about this food... Went twice, two different occasions and timed my wait in the drive thru... 10 minutes before I was even able to place my order. Another 10 minutes to get to the window, just to be told to pull up and they will bring my food out to me...they didn't even remember to take my money... Unfortunate that everyone from the shift lead/manager to the cashier display a lack of concern for customers. Was there last night and witnessed/experienced a cashier who rolled her eyes and spoke to customers as if they were inconveniencing her, was inattentive, and cared more about talking about what she could eat than to listen to the customer who was mid-order. Another customer's order was made wrong, and rather than apologize and correct it, rolled her eyes in disdain. Cashier was obviously unconcerned with professional or any minimal level of appropriate behavior, playing and conversing with other employees, ignoring waiting customers who were ordering and yelling across the restaurant to other customers about what condiments they wanted. When I attempted to explain a small issue of being overcharged, I was met with insincere and an uncaring manager, who ultimately just walked off on me mid-sentence. As I attempted to explain my issue further to the cashier, she just rolled her eyes and walked off - I doubt she heard a word. All I could do is shake my head at the incompetence. I ended up just accepting the overcharge as the price for the lesson learned that I never go back to that McDonalds again. From the ratings, I'm clearly not the first person to recognize the subpar staff and service. read more

Terrible place. Stopped for a quick bite on our way home from a concert. Waited over 30 minutes to get our order and then it was incomplete and incorrect. My boyfriend went to get the missing items and that took an additional 10 minutes to get as the workers ignored their customers waiting in line. This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Don't go there on your way to work in the morning unless you want to be ignored and then when/if you finally do get their workers attention are treated rudely. The guy that's there in the morning with the braids should be fired for being so rude. I couldn't even get a straw after seeing that there wasn't one in the bag, and l nobody else was in the drive thru. After I had gotten my food I still had to go inside because he walked away from the window and wouldn't come back after knocking on the window honking my horn. Be careful if using your credit card at this location. There have been many instances where the drive-thru person has taken the credit card information from the customer, next thing you know the customer has become a victim of identity theft. If you don't believe me, please check with the police department at this location. I would just stay away from this McDonald's. Sauk Trail, or Frankfort locations are better! read more
