We visited around 4:30 pm on Friday evening and were seated promptly. My brother ordered the ribs, and my sister had the fried chicken. I opted to play it safe and only ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. My brother enjoyed the ribs, but my sister said the chicken had no flavor whatsoever. I had a bite, and I completely agree. It was as if someone just fried the chicken without seasoning it. My sandwich was fine, just as I expected. The fries, however, were nothing special. I assume that they came from a bag in the freezer. We all ordered the cream of chicken rice soup, which was delicious. My sister and I enjoyed it so much that we ordered some to-go. The vibe was relaxed and comfortable. I liked the old Western feel. Our waitress was attentive and friendly too, which was awesome. I'd probably stop in again for another sandwich or burger.

I placed my order 20 minutes prior to showing up at their location, and still waited about 10 minutes before getting it. This was also at 11:30pm. I noticed 5 employees inside. This isn't okay. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, but it's the only one nearby in the area, and it's right off of the freeway. Truckers, and travelers, don't get your hopes up with this one. Oh and she told me there were no free refills so my two Cokes were $8 total. However, I wouldn't have ordered two had I known the second wasn't a free refill. The chicken and rings were fried well and fresh but it just felt very pricey for such an outdated experience and small portions. They did give all moms a rose though :/

I worked here as a waitress for less the three months. The owner's are drunks and would steal tips. We got paid 4.25 an hour and had to stay late doing random duties that were not in our job description. If a mistake was made she would scream infront of the few customers we had and make the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. I would come home from a five our shift making only 15$. Every night the owner Patty would count the silverware and if one was missing we had to dig through all the garbage cans from that day until it was found. We were not aloud to leave until it was washed and rolled back in a napkin. She was rude and I would go home crying some nights from her screaming at me for something someone else did. While working there I was stressed out, my grades dropped and I couldn't take it. read more
