Just swung in on our way home from an Ohio State game and our stop couldn't have been nicer! The restaurant and restroom were immaculately clean. Our food was hot and ready rather quickly. But the service was what really stood out. The woman working the register was extremely kind and helpful. My brother tried to order the ghost pepper chicken fries. She said they were unfortunately out of them but asked whoever was working in the kitchen what they could do. He said he could mix together a spicy sauce and cover regular chicken fries, which my brother happily agreed to. It is rare to receive that kind of service with fast food! Terribly slow at 3pm on a Monday! Sat behind 1 car and after 11 minutes I could tell they hadn't been helped yet. So I left. No other cars in the lot to suggest they were busy. Where to begin...... I'll start off with yuck. This past Saturday 1/24/2026 I went during breakfast. I stood in there for 15 minutes, no one was around. I even said "Hello" nothing. I see cars at the drive thru leave. I know my mind wasn't playing tricks on me because a lady had just walked out with food as I was walking in. I recently visited the Burger King in New Albany, OH and was surprised at the level of service provided by the staff. I walked into the restaurant around 1:00 pm and approached the cash register. There were no other customers in the restaurant and the man working behind the counter was on his mobile phone. He reluctantly walked over toward the cash register and said "here or to go", which I responded to go. He then just stood there without making any other comments. I asked him if he was ready and he shook his head. I told him that he should've said 'May I take your order' or something so I knew he was ready for my order. No response. I said forget it, and started walking toward the exit. I told him he needed more training and I asked for a manager, which he responded there wasn't one there. I've ordered ciniminis via DoorDash while I was working 3x in a row and each time I have NOT received the icing cup!! Updated review for my last: yesterday my husband had a pretty bad experience and I reached out to corporate to let them know and also bring up the fact that reviews have been consistently poor for a while. This is the only Burger King for quite a distance and I do enjoy the food and impossible whoppers a lot more than other places. Their new District Manager called to make things right. She was very pleasant and let me know she started less than a month ago and is vigilant in turning this location around. New Albany is know for being a pleasant place, so the standards should be high. I'm excited to hear that she is committed and hopeful based on her demeanor that she'll be successful. We'll try again in a few weeks when the itch to not cook dinner kicks in! read more

Dropped by this BK location to try the 'Impossible Whopper' for lunch and after finding a spot to park in the their well worn parking lot I went inside to dine. Placed my order and scored a drink from the self serve area that had trash overflowing, wasn't being maintained and only had a single multi-flavour dispenser. Found a booth in the dingy dining area and returned to wait among others waiting for their orders. Instead of having an area to pick-up orders we're forced to jockey our way back to the cashier corral since most of the counter-space has been converted into work-space and empty unused displays. After a lengthy wait for a fast food joint I made my way back to the booth to try this plant based burger. Thankfully everything was hot and fresh, the 'Impossible Burger' lived up to it's hype and pretty much the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. Sitting in the dining area with two silent flat-screens playing 'BK-Vision' it gave me time to notice the worn seating, peeling wallpaper and overall malaise. The french fries were old and beyond stale. The chicken sandwich had the thinnest piece of fried chicken I've seen in my life. I ended up feeding the chicken to my dog. As a rule, I don't rate fast food restaurants. I'm making this exception because of the extremely poor experience I had this evening. Through the drive thru, I ordered two combos, an order of nuggets, and drinks. The order on the screen was clearly wrong once I finished ordering. I tried to correct the order, only to be told to move ahead to the 2nd window. I moved around, expecting to be able to correct the order. Much to my surprise, two bags of food were shoved at me, and a total was given. I tried to clarify what I ordered, only to be told: " Yeah, its there'" I tried again to clarify what I ordered, only to be cut off and given the total again. Knowing that I had a family at home, I took the bags, and started to examine them... payment was demanded, so I looked into the bag and saw the right number of sandwiches and fries. At this point, I acquiesced because I remembered that the Wendy's across the street was wrapped around the building. When I got home, the order amazingly was right. But, the food was HORRIBLE, I repeat HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! The fries were so old that they had started to shrivel, the kids chicken was the same way... in fact one nugget was so old that it was hard through and through. The burger patties were all cold, the bun was stale, the lettuce on my Whopper, what there was of it, was browning, and there was a sliver each of a tried up tomato, and one onion string.... but hey, the pickles were okay. This has to be a corporate store, there is no way a franchise could continue to operate this way. I understand food costs are high, but hold till sold is ridiculous! If your business is slow, cook food to order, yeah your service times are bad... but people will wait for fresh food and not complain. I'd complain to the offices; but of course I didn't get a receipt. It's just as well because they way undercharged me for the food I received. $7.63 for two large combos, nuggets, and drinks. Burger King, I'm not sure what is going on at this location; but, something needs done. This is a prime location, in an area surrounded by Businesses and housing. I went here this morning to get breakfast. I decided to order off the dollar menu and ordered a sausage biscuit, home fries and a small drink. I also asked to get cheese on the biscuit.
