Very weird because it used to be a happy and unique experience--been there scores of times and bring guests from outside the region. They still have unique items on their menu but they now seem slapped together. Hope the management can recapture the charm it used to have.

Choice of toast, I went with rye, which came out perfectly toasted with plenty of butter on it, and hash browns. Delicious! The "kid" that took my money had an awesome haircut and looked happy to be at work. The woman at the drive through even gave me information on how to apply for a job! A few weeks ago, my mom, son and I had lunch there and it was great. My son and I go in there regularly, and he loves it. It's always the first place he requests, that and Happy Joe's Pizza!! Anyways, I love it too as a mom because it's super safe, he can go to the bathroom by himself and I don't have to worry. The team members at the counter give him their attention and listen while he orders, which he loves to do by himself. It's a great chance for us to have teachable moments. And, he's usually on his best behavior because the place is packed with elders. So -There is a reason that my son always requests McDonald's on our mother/son dates. And I say yes because it's still a classic in my book. PS - thank you for the all day mochas and egg and cheese biscuits. They freaking rock! I need the energy while I'm busy "mommin".
