Waited in line for 10 minutes to just give my order in the drive-thru, there was one car in the parking lot, it was 4:30. Ticket said order place at 4:50pm, (waited at the speaker for 10 minutes). Upon arrival at window ( no line of cars, except behind me, was given my change, receipt and ice cream sundae). Waited at the window until 5:03 to finally get my order, no special order just a How to train you dragon meal with extra pickles, there was no box, no Viking topping but they did Oreo crumbs. By then the sundae was melted to barely 1/2 cup, asked for new one, took another 6 minutes to get that. This is totally unacceptable. Food was cold. This is not the only time this Burger King in Southgate has screwed up. But it will be the last time for us. We have been going there since opening. We will not be returning. Reading some of reviews, frankly very surprised its still open. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but if I don't I can't imagine how many people would have food poisoning!!! This is The most disgusting Burger King in the world that I have ever went to! First off they are using expired beef, I could smell the decay of the beef as I opened my burger. The beef patty was an extremely pale brown& had weird brown circles on it all over. My moms burger was the same way. My sons spicy nuggets were disgusting as well. Then it dawned on me, they had a power outage last week, THEY ARE STILL USING THE SPOILED FOOD! So thankful I could smell the decay before BK ruined our entire day. Oh and also the person taking our order stopped in the middle and said brb and never came back, 5 mins. later someone started our order again. I placed a mobile order and went to pick it up about 4:30 p.m. on a weekday. I was the only car in the Drive-Thru. I had two items on my order and they forgot to give me one of the two. And I got home and opened the other item, the Whopper, it was extremely overcooked on the bun. It looked like they had a kitchen fire and used my bun to surpress the flames. I'd say being as slow as it was this should not happen. I don't think I will be back to this specific location until quality improves. read more

By fat the worst experience I have ever had at burger king ever, I placed an order on the app , went to the drive through , waited 15 minutes for one person in front of me to get served , and then when we get to the order box and the person yells at my wife One moment! Very aggressively, we wait another 5 minutes just to tell them we have a mobile order , to go to the window only to be told we had to pull ahead and wait , we literally wait 30 minutes to get our entire order wrong , when I mean entire order wrong I mean the drinks were wrong , the burgers were both wrong and one missing , the kids chicken nugget kids meals were not chicken nuggets they were firey chicken fries , they kids meals weren't kids meals , the rodeo burgers didn't even have onion rings on them , it was the worst bk ever , 0/10 I would recommend licking a rock over going here to eat read more

we where at southgate burger king and the lady was so rude. We asked for a slushy she gave us an orange drink when we told her that was wrong. She was so mad because she had to give us the right drink then she gave me a Coke instead of a lemonade she was even more mad when she had to exchange that and said I don't want that pop back the kicker my husband ordered jalapeño cheesy poppers nope he got just the cheese ones. DO NOT GO HERE... Iv give this place so many chance more then 2 . But today was the last time I can't do it anymore my first order was wrong . So I go back to the place to change it out . They mixed sprite and coke together without request, didn't give us straws, no salt on fries, no onions on whopper and I swear to god, put a entire jar of pickles on my sandwich at no request. The worst restaurant I have ever been to. This is my 3rd time trying this restaurant in a year and my 3rd time being 100% pissed with my food. Each time I waist my money (3 meals) on food that is horrible. The fries taste really strange as they always have. I left a reveiw the last time I purchased food which was about 3 months ago, stating the fries rasted weird, possibly because the grease isn't being changed like it should. For the 3rd time, the fries taste exactly the same, like there is some metal or chemical in them. This time, my lemonade taste like water as well. My burger taste like it wasn't seasoned even with all the condiments on it. This place is horrible and OSHA needs to come in and investigate like TOMMOROW. I love BK. It's my favorite fast food restaurant. This restaurant is 5 minutes away from me but I had been driving 15-20 minutes away from me to go to the one on Telegraph Rd. and Vanborn. I figured I would try this one again in the hopes that my last review would have created a change. But it didn't and that is terrible. Someone is gonna get sick. How is this place still open. CORPORATE, YOU REALLY SHOULD CHECK IN ON THIS RESTAURANT. SOMETHING IS WRONG. Everytime I ride pass the place it deserted. And this happens 6 days a week, twice a day. Over 20 minutes in drive thru, get to window and wait as the window guy handles food without gloves, constantly tugging his shirt and pants, putting together I assume delivery orders. After he finally gets to me he makes a joke about my order costing 100 times what it is then is surprised when I ask for my receipt which is supposed to be given to me anyways. Oh and I ended up with the wrong food so I went back and spent another 20 minutes or more in line just to return it and get a refund. Please whoever manages this place tell you window people -not- to crack jokes at the customers and double check their orders on top of always giving them their receipts. I understand they are currently understaffed but they either skipped some training or need to desperately hire someone so they can move that one off the window. read more

Went in for an interview and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned since I worked there last in 2018. Didn't see anyone wash their hands the entire 45 minutes I was there. There's gotta be COVID seeping from the walls. It was disgusting. They should be embarrassed. I was offered 13.50 in my interview then called to confirm with the hiring manager and she said I started you out at 12 after lying in the interview telling me I'd be making 13.50. Do not apply here. Went today 4/03/22, around 5pm. Ordered 2 burgers, onion rings and fries. The burgers were okay but the onion rings and fries must have been made yesterday! We couldn't even chew them they were so hard. The onion rings were overdone batter only, no onion inside (think they disintegrated). Absolutely disgusting! I made an order for 2 orders of the 2 for $6 mix and match, 2 small fries and 2 shakes. While waiting for my order they had no gloves and repetitively scratched and touched themselves and the one person who did have gloves picked up trash off the floor and then proceeded to handle food. They only gave me 2 burgers that were really cold instead of the 4, one appeared as if it was stepped on because the patty was extremely bent and the bun in the shape of a printed shoe, the fries tasted weird like soap or some type of chemical I really don't even know wtf that taste was that's not even what a fry should taste like, and the shakes were not even half way filled and almost like it wasn't a shake at all but ice or something. My total was ridiculous and they didn't give a receipt. This is a terrible place I feel absolutely sick to my stomach that I just bit into God knows what of a fry to check my entire order. This entire place is DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! I wouldn't be surprised if they have rats in this place! I threw everything away & I nearly threw up biting into that fry. This has got to be hands Down one of the worst to Burger King in Michigan I just sat in the drive-through for 25 minutes seen 4 Cars Dr. off that we're waiting behind me for a simple chicken sandwich combo. This place is always been run Horribly. Slowest service ever-cars just leave the drive-thru. They are rarely sufficiently staffed, and when they are they are still slow.

The burgers are decent and you can do a build your own option as well. The french fries are fresh made with just the right texture. The order of fries that come with the meal option was more than enough for two people to share. The mushroom swiss burger has gravy on it which makes it a bit messy but it gives good flavor. The buns are the best makes the hamburger. read more

I went through the drive thru for an A1 Burger and chicken fries, I didn't expect to receive a wadded up ball of grease on an undersized bun and burned to a crisp chicken that has been sitting out for 25 minutes along with majorly over salted fries.
