I am a repeat customer. Whenever I am in the area and it is lunchtime, I always remember that this restaurant is close by. The ambience is casual. My usual order is a #1 meal, 4 sliders with everything and an order of fries with a drink. However, this time I added a couple single jalapeno cheeseburgers. I opted to order inside and the food was ready in a fair amount of time. The inside of the restaurant was clean, and everything was in order. I found it to be a good value for my money. Employees need to be updated on policies. I went inside and ordered. I specifically asked if they have a senior discount and the girl said no. Well, they do...either the girl didn't know or she didn't feel like giving it to me. White Castle has a 10% senior discount. Next time I go in, I will make sure I get the discount!! Ya just annoyed. I understand you want to close at the time you are suppose to but for someone who use to work in the food industry you should close your business and take the last orders 10 minutes before you close. Yes I understand you want to close on time but you use to be 24 hour drive thru. So why not just leave the drive thru open till 3am. And on top of that you are gonna call us on a online order and tell us you closed at 3am and the last order you take is at 2:50am. When we did the online order at at like 2:40 and our order said to be picked up at 2:51am. For this you get the one star....you are glad I cannot give a zero. Never tried White Castle in my life, but pulled in for their classic cheeseburger sliders and onion chips. The sweet tea was perfect, but I wasn't a huge fan of the onion chips or the cheeseburgers. ‍ If you are hungry and like fast food, this spot is good for that. read more

I have to say, usually when I place an order over $20 at White Castle there is almost always an error. But not this time! My friend ordered 2 fish with cheese, 2 cheeseburgers, medium fry, and I ordered 2 veggie burgers, 3 imposible burgers, medium fry no salt, and a medium onion chip. The ordered was made to perfection (although they gave me 2 additional veggie burgers, which I didn't eat because I was full). The only reason why I took away one star is because the wait was for 20 minutes and some customers were standing to close with their masks half way on. BUT other than that, the wait was worth it because my food was fresh, hot, and had no errors. I forgot to mention, they were really busy at the time, but obviously was on their top game. read more

Messed up my order twice four sliders scraped off onions no ketchup no mustard or pickle got my money back

Lived down the road from here for 20 years. Service speed and quality has steadily gone down hill the last 5 years. Today was my last visit there ever. I ordered a number 2 combo, and a 5 piece mozz stick. Mind you there was 7 employees that I could see and I was the -only- customer there. Ten minutes of waiting and still no food, yet car after car after car go by. Another man comes in and is not acknlowedged. At 18 minutes of waiting i am given my bag of food, only for there to be no fries. I said, I waited 18 minutes for two burgers where are my fries? the manager said that the kid at the register didnt ring me up for fries just a combo. I said the sign says all combos come with a drink and fries. she said well he didnt ring it up like that. No apology, no apology for waiting 20 minutes. I raised my voice and said well why should I have to specify I want fries if the sign says they come with fries. Mind you I had repeated my order 3 times initially, as "A number 2 combo' was too confusing for the kid. Now another manager comes out, puts her hand in my face, and says 'byeee, byeee, have a nice day, byeeee' This is beyond unacceptable. read more

What's the best part of eating a WC? It's fluffing the sheets on your significant other...... This is THE first place and location my family ate a carry out hamburger. I remember sitting in the back seat of our 1958 Chevy wagon, my older brother and sister sitting to either side of me...Mom up front holding my baby sister, My dad leaning over the front seat and giving me my FIRST slider....the taste and smell that today I still love. I remember looking at the price they advertised on the outside of the building.....get this..$.07...REALLLY... To this day I still love to indulge in one(or 5) of these little pleasures. We stopped here after a very long drive from our house to our friend's house. We had adopted a stray kitten she found in her backyard and we were suddenly hit with food cravings. We ordered the #7 like always plus some cheese sticks and asked for ranch. Food was quick, hot and freakin' delicious. Bonus points to the cashier who saw said kitten and squealed with delight. The Lincoln Park White Castle was THE place for my husband and I to order dinner on pay day when we lived in Michigan. The restaurant was right across the street from our apartment! We loved the Cheeseburgers and Onion Chips. The only thing we did not like was the loud hip hop music blaring through open car windows on Friday and Saturday nights when customers ordered at the drive thru window. There should be a sign stating "Please turn off music before approaching". The management should also turn the volume of its microphone down. We got tired of hearing the cashier ask "May I take your order?" 100 times a night! Great burgers at a great price. read more

While I live closer to another location, my friends live closer to this one, and we go here whenever we have a party. We usually go inside to order late at night, and we've always been met with great service. Even if we order $50 worth of food in multiple orders, everything comes out good (even with requested condiments) and in a timely manner, as per White Castle's usual speed. Last time, the guy taking our order, Gerald, was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic with his work. Of course, there were others making the food, but he was skilled and courteous by any fast food standards at 11:30pm. read more

well i walked in . one customer in building. all ready had ordered. i walked up an lady asked what i wanted. i said sack of 10 sliders.. but i needed 5 sliders with just pickle and onion. the other 5 sliders with everything add extra onions. then i needed another sack of 10 sliders with everything. 1 small fry an 1. 6 piece chicken rings with honey mustard sauce. so i paid . i look at reciept not correct. i asked about the 5 sliders just pickle and onion it not there. so she reviews my order. it was wrong .so a male assistant comes over and she stated more money . ?? he said no she was trying to charge me for a 30 piece instead of two 10 sacks. he corrected it. but now i have no idea of what i have got. they rebagged the whole thing. and refunded me my difference. i get home... it was close...ooh. i got 5 sliders with extra onions 3 had nothing else on them 2 had pickle ketchup and mustard.. ok .. chicken rings ok. fries ok. but no honey mustard sauce..humm. the other 5 sliders had 3 just onion no pickle two had just pickle no onion. ??? and regular sack of 10 was perfect. go figure..i repeatedly went over my oder twice before rung up. still did not come out correct. i give up. check before you leave or your screwed. read more
