We've stopped here several times on the way to St Louis for a quick bite. This place is anything but quick. Drive through or inside is slow. Saturday we went inside, ordered and 15 minutes later we got our food. Another gentleman wondered if they'd lost his order. Another that came on after me finally left because no one waited on him. I went through the drive thru this evening around 5. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. Since I had a mobile order, I asked the girl for my receipt. She looks at me and says "I don't know how to do that...sorry", and turns around, I just drove off. About an hour later, I was very sick. Food poisoning. I called and asked if they had received any complaints. The manager responds with "no, we cleaned everything today...even the fryers!" That was enough for me to hear! read more

I remember being excited to eat here in the 90's... now I dread it. I only eat here because my kids like it, but I usually get them what they want and I eat somewhere else instead. Attached is an image of my whopper with cheese with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard. The fries were cold. The burger had some crummy looking lettuce pieces and one tiny tomato. I waited in the drive through line for almost 40 minutes for this. BKs slogan is "have it your way" but 90% of the time they screw up the order. Items will be missing, burgers aren't prepared the requested way. If I say I want a whopper with cheese & ketchup only I get a whopper with everything on it. My kids not going to eat that so time to try and get a refund. When you place a mobile order you can't get a refund at the window you have to request one on the app. Every time they screw up I go on the app and go through the process of getting a refund, i've had to do this so many times that BK is no longer willing to refund me. They say i've requested too many refunds this year. How is that my fault? Why should I have to pay for something i'm not getting? You can escalate your complaint to their team and they just ignore you. The sign outside is an embarrassment too, it has a huge chunk missing out of it like someone threw a bowling ball at it. Tried to eat here tonight, the lady taking the orders was outside smoking and asked us how many we had bc we had 2 cars with 10 people 5 per car and the lady taking orders had a meltdown screaming in the kitchen to all the cooks we had to leave bc we felt uncomfortable and were scared to eat the food before we even got served. This lady needs fired for negatively representing this company. This wad at 10:00 pm with 2 hours still left of them being open. Will never eat at this location again. No matter what you order they will pull you forward and take 10+ minutes getting you your food! The staff and employees are lazy and quite rude. I ordered a Double Whopper that was prepared incorrectly. The Manager was extremely rude to me ! He was an older man this order was made by him after he was shown the wrong burger. It took 15 to 20 minutes for him to get it right and didn't even offer a decent apology or concern to make this right. It seems the customer service experience has gone away at this location and it almost feels like you owe them to eat there!! This used to be a good BK but my experience today was horrid . So not to long ago I would have given this BK 4-5 stars because I did enjoy the burgers and fries. But as it is now I'd I could give negative stars I would. I posted some pictures now keep in mind I know what is on the menu as far as pictures go your burger will not look like it but this was a sad pathetic excuse of a burger I received. The service have have been getting at this location as of the past few months has been atrocious. The food is absolute terrible now. BK used to have burgers that where juicy and delicious. If it come down to it I prefer Mc Donald's in Waterloo over this place now. Just wish some of these fast food places would put a minute (small) amount of effort into there food some of it would be half way decent. I'm not sure what any Burger King could do to earn five stars, as previous Yelpers have given. So I came and ... it's just a run of the mill BK. Got a whopper meal and it was made to order (no onions or tomatoes). And it was fine. The fries were hot and salted well, but still tasted like BK fries -- not nearly as good as McDonald's or even Wendy's. So, if you're craving BK, then this is the place for you. But it's still held back by what it is, so three stars sounds about right. read more

I was craving from French Toast sticks and Burger King has THE best ones. You can order 3 sticks or 5 sticks. I opted for the 3 sticks, which surprisingly we only a dollar, what...... I also love Burger Kings Iced Coffee, it is wonderful when you want coffee but it is too hot outside to drink it. When the server told me my total was $2.86 I could not believe my ears. I also asked for a glass of water, which I was told was no problem. The guy at the window was friendly and helpful. He warned me that my sticks were just out of the fryer and that they would be extremely hot, so proceed with caution. What a great way to start my day. read more

This is the BEST Burger King in our area. I know people who pass many more conveniently located Burger Kings to come to Waterloo's Burger King. The staff is friendly, the food is consistently good. The facility is clean. Even the drive thru is accurate and friendly. read more
