This is a new small restaurant in town. The burgers are excellent. Flavor is good, they are huge and hand formed. Toppings are fresh and abundant. I had a bacon cheese burger and the bacon was quality stuff you don't typically find on a burger. French fries are hand cut and seasoned, and like everything else come in large quantities. The only down sides are that they are a small restaurant in size, which means that there isn't much for seating, making it hard to get a table if they are busy. That is it. We will be back for certain.. I previously posted in error that they only had American Cheese as an option. I found out that this isn't true and they have other cheeses available. I just want to say that this place was 'alright'. I am giving it 2 stars bc I'm more disappointed in the sides and appetizers than the actual burgers. The burger ( I ordered the Big Pop) was exceptionally delish. It was big and juicy. The only flaw I found w the burger was the lettuce was soggy. I just scraped it off and ate it anyway. No big deal. I actually ordered take out from this place bc I had a hankering for some onion rings. The reviews seemed legit so I gave it a shot! I ordered onion rings and the Texas Toothpicks. Both tasted stale and very chewy. They seemed to be missing some key seasonings. Fail! All in all if you come to this place... Maybe stick w the burgers! I'm not sure about the sandwiches or salads... They could be awesome for all I know. I probably won't be back to this place . I usually eat super clean so when I cheat ... I have high expectations. Even before I got my meal, I will rate this place. I came here because it got great reviews. First of all, the AC is out. It's 95 degrees outside and no AC, no fans, heck not even the door propped open. The table was dirty, we had to jack the paper towels off another table and guess what, no iced tea. The staff all appears to be young kids with no real customer service manners. The burgers are huge and they are really good. Fries and rings are good. The food order was wrong but did not send it back. Too hot to sit here waiting for a new burger. I'd say order the kids meal if you are not terribly hungry. Kids size is 1/4 lb. However, our fries and onion rings must have been fried with the funnel cake fries because they were sweet. If you've ever had Burger Island (and we love BI), it's very similar to that: HUGE burgers, BIG salad, ridiculous amount of fries. Inside was nice and clean. The staff was attentive.
