This place is right off the highway. We were staying at the grand Mayan. It's only 5 min from there. Excellent burgers and fries and breakfast!

The cashier was really rude and then when I ordered a burger they messed up my order and they put mustard instead of ketchup in the burger like how weird can u be. read more
This is one of the first places we visited in Mexico on our road trip. We started out in Cancun and needed to drive down to Tulum, so we stopped here along the way. This is on the east side of the main highway, so if you are going South, you'll have to pass it and use a Retorno (turn-around). You can see Burger Stop from the road, and there is a parking lot behind it. The lot isn't big, and my guess is that tour buses stop here a lot and park along the road or in front. We had no issues with the car in the lot (even though we were worried because we had everything in there). There is a lot of seating, including outdoors in a nice courtyard. I was surprised at how little English they understood here. We were able to work through our order regardless. My husband had a burger, I had guacamole (wasn't that hungry, and the guac portions are generally pretty big), my daughter had pancakes (because she is picky and has a peanut allergy), and my other child had a quesadilla. The food came out in good time and was good, without any issues despite the language barrier. I enjoyed my fresh guacamole and the kids enjoyed their meals. My husband thought his burger was very good. This was a nice place to stop while traveling, without the hassle of dealing with any parking issues or crowds especially considering we had rented a car. read more
I dined here with my family after a day at Punta Maroma (which the restaurant is very close by to) and we all thought the burgers were great! For your choice of beef, you can select between angus and prime rib. Other meats include pork, chicken, sausage and shrimp. If you'd like to go vegetarian, you can order a burger with mushrooms in place of meat. I ordered the latter, and the mushrooms were of a small variety (maybe button), sliced, and I believe grilled. The burgers come with a side of seasoned fries and several condiments (mayo, mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, salsa) are brought to your table that you may add to your burger. There is also a nice selection of baked goods; we tried the coconut bread and it was very moist and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and we had an opportunity to meet with the owner who was very gracious with us as well. Stop by with a big appetite! read more
Nice place with both burgers and Mexican fare. Good quality food (I had the chicken breast burger which came with steak fries, my partner had the fajitas which came with guacamole, rice and beans). Coffee is strong and good. Highly recommended for a nice quick meal. We walked from our hotel (Kin Sol Soleil), which was a 25 minute walk through a lovely jungle road. read more

Driven past this place at least a 1000 times. Today as I was at a nearby hotel collecting from one of my guests, I asked an emoyee of said hotel what the food was like.. She told me to grab a beer and enjoy an axing burger. She was not kidding. I will be back. read more

Nice little restaurant along 309 on the way to Tulum. Clean and tasty food even local customer comes often. Price is about the same as in LA. But no tax, if you don't know where to eat and feel really hungry around this area, it is the place for u. read more

We stayed at Hotel Amarte the first and last nights of our trip to Mexico. Burger Stop had rave reviews so we had dinner there both nights. They also now have Cafe Amarte, a beautiful outdoor bar and cafe that adjoins Burger Stop (same menu for both places). Amazing. Wife had an incredible margarita on the rocks and I had a sapphire and tonic. Wonderful music. They also have a screening room playing classic movies. There is a really nice vibe here. The staff are very friendly. For dinner I had a prime beef burger with Gorgonzola and sautéed mushrooms. I ate it all despite its decadence. Wife had their ceviche, which was also excellent - sort of a Bloody Mary ceviche, a marriage of two great things. We had the same meal both nights so we'll have to branch out next time we're here. read more

Pleasantly surprised, the name can be misleading. This clean, quaint restaurant serves all sorts of fresh food and a decent breakfast as well. The service is personal and prices are decent. Take a real from the hotel restaurants and have a meal here, you'll be impressed. read more

Went here after a day at Marina Maroma actually had to do a u turn because we past it so fast. They have excellent burgers and they are gigantic so come here with a big appetite because I could not finish my burger and I had the smaller one. Good wedge fries with good seasoning. Left with some dessert that they baked here and it was excellent. read more

Just stopped by after leaving circus sol e . no reccomendation just was hungry. What a surprise. 250g burgers (almost 1/2 lb). Angus beef. Served with seasoned fries. My buddy and I both said it was one of the best burgers we have ever had. So great to stumble onto a find. If you see this place in the middle of nowhere, on the east side of road (northbound) STOP IN. After 4 days of tacos, we wanted some good comfort food. Great surprise. Clean also, diners at next table had the ribs. They looked good too read more

Wanted something simple for dinner and this was closest restaurant to our hotel. Had the 150 gram prime burger with Gorgonzola cheese which comes with wedge fries. My husband had the same but he got regular cheese and bacon. His bacon could have been more crispy but that is the way he likes it. The burgers are not dressed but has lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeño, and grilled onions. They either have a bakery onsite or close by but the bun was so fresh. The burger is pounded out thin but with all of the toppings, they are big. Fries were fresh and crispy with seasoning. Very tasty. Had the banana bread to go - it tasted more like carrot cake because it had raisins in it which I don't prefer but not bad. Very clean restaurant and would go there again. read more

This is a tiny burger joint, but the food was really tasty. My husband and I split a Greek salad. Who would have thought we'd have a fm great Greek salad in Mexico? Certainly not me, but we raved about it. We also each ordered a burger, me a chicken burger, and my husband ordered the angus. We split them to have the best of both worlds. We couldn't finish them because they were pretty big. read more

HunnyBumBums in my BumBum. The best way I could describe this was the fact I had to get my own car and I had a lot more than that in the house to keep me safe from all of this stuff going to the store so that was the best thing to happen for my life I had ever had a car and my life and the car is a car read more
