Bohemia beer in a Chelsea glass which means juts salt and lemon. Delicious

Food is amazing, Today I tried tha Dutch shrimp which I highly recommend: it's shrimp cover with bacon and cheese melted on top, how can you go wrong on that!!!!. Prices are really reasonable and the service incredible. Ambiance was great they play music that from the 80s. But I think it's because we were there. Lol they are very attentive to the customers. I love that the restaurant has sand indoors even though it's not ocean view the sand on the ground made me feel I was just there.

After enjoying one of the best beaches in the Riveria Maya, we set out to find a nice spot for dinner. We found this little spot in Puerto Morelos called La Pepita. When we first walked in there was a swinging bar and the entire floor of the main floor seating area is completely covered in sand. What the restaurant lacked in decor, it made to for in taste. The food was absolutely scrumptious and worth every penny. We had some great ceviche and the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. Their fish was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was Walter, he was very helpful and very friendly with great service. A few extras things to note: 1. There is a Puerto Morales sign in the restaurant so you can take your pictures there while you wait for your food. 2. Puerto Morales seems to be very eco friendly. If you want a straw for your drink they will charge you 2 pesos for a biodegradable straw. So if you plan to drink more than one drink save your straw. 3. The price of your fish will vary by the size/weight you want. So if you plan on ordering the fish, you can either ask them if any other guest have ordered the fish and they will show you a size comparison or you can tell them how much you want to spend and they'll choose the size that way. 4. There are street vendors that will come by while you're eating and ask if you're interested in buying anything. If you say no, they will go away quickly. If you say yes, you can multitask and shop while you eat. 5. They have a live music option. A guitar and/ or harpist will come to your table and play for your if you want a more romantic ambience (for a fee). 6. They have an upstairs deck which is available by reservations for a big party.

Plastic chairs and tables in the sand on the beach, with live music (although unfortunately American classics), delicious food and good vibes. This was our first stop for food after landing in Cancun and heading to Tulum and I highly recommend it. Shrimp Tacos were delicious. While we didn't have the fried whole fish, it looked and smelled delicious every time it passed our table.

This place was great!! The food is delicious and very good prices. Had the shrimp with arrachera. The shrimp were cooked with garlic and the meat was very tender. Both were delicious!! The service is great! It was 4 of us and all of us enjoyed the food and atmosphere!

Oh my gosh! Great seafood. Lobster or fish in garlic sauce was heavenly. The shrimp a la Diablo was just spicy enough but not so hot you can't taste the shrimp. I would recommend it. Rice was so good, I ordered extra. Drink we're kinda bland but the food makes up for it!! Totally recommend is you are in Puerto Morales! Right on the beach!!!

Delicious. Food was so fresh, big dishes of food, and the service was beyond expectations. We got mixed ceviche, garlic shrimp, skirt steak, and fish tacos. Price wasn't high especially for the amount you get. We were served with fresh tortilla chips, beans, fish, and dipping sauce to begin with. Food came with plenty of tortillas. The servers were extremely nice and attentive. Can't recommend La Pepita enough! I will be back!

I totally get why this place earned Michelin recognition in 2025. The softshell crab tacos were…read moreeasily the best I've ever had--perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The salsas were incredible, the homemade bun was next-level, and that smoky cucumber drink was something special. Even the presentation was on point. Service here, and honestly all around this area, has been outstanding. Puerto Morelos is definitely a place I'd come back to.

Hello, We hope you…read morewould consider giving us another opportunity to visit your restaurant and help make this experience right. We dined with you on May 9 under the name Fairchild. There were three of us, and we visited around 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. My seafood risotto appeared spoiled and had a hair in it. My husband's tacos made him feel ill after only one bite, and he had to leave for the restroom immediately. His drink was extremely sweet and seemed to contain little or no alcohol. My drink was incorrect, served only half full, and came without a straw or garnish. Service was also lacking. We had difficulty communicating because no one assisting us spoke English. We poured our own water throughout the meal and were never asked whether we wanted refills or additional drinks. To make matters worse, we were celebrating my daughter's birthday that day, and it was completely overlooked despite our mentioning it. We felt so sick and uncomfortable that we wanted to leave immediately. We attempted to communicate our concerns and explain that we were not feeling well, but we were unable to get assistance due to the language barrier. We will be returning to the area in December and hope you will be willing to make this right. We would appreciate hearing how you can address the issues we experienced and restore our confidence in your restaurant. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

It's easily my favorite seafood restaurant in Puerto Morelos - which is full of seafood restaurants. The bad part is that there is no ocean view and no air conditioning, you need a car or a taxi to get there and the staff speaks little English. The good part is that it is clearly a very popular local place - my party has always been the only obviously non-local group in a usually crowded place- and the seafood is amazingly fresh, perfectly prepared, served fast (considering it is made to order) and delicious. The portions are enormous. The price is reasonable. One can eat like a king for 15 to 25 dollars a person. My favorite is the octopus ceviche. The octopus is soft and fresh and perfectly cooked. Tossed with very fresh finely chopped onions, tomatoes and peppers in a lemon, chili and cilantro sauce that is not too spicy. The best ceviche I have had in Quintana Roo. A medium portion is a very ample appetizer for two people or a satisfying meal for one person. We generally follow up with the whole fried hogfish, around a pound of perfectly fried fish, very fresh, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, nicely salted. Served with a salad, a small portion of yellow rice and a really strong hot sauce on the side. The octopus escabeche and the shrimp with garlic sauce are also excellent choices. A cold Corona beer (or two) completes the meal.
