    Onion Rings and BT Burger

Fantastic Fantastic Service 5-9-24! Both Hamburgers were delicious and price point was perfect.. Cold Beverages hit the spot after 550 miles on the road. Give them a try..

Great Burgers. It takes a lot for me to give a high rating to a place that claims a great burger and to even put it in their name. However, this place is up to the scrutiny. I went with a group of 10 people and we all ordered burgers of various kinds. All were done to the correct level (a lot of places mess this up) and the burger was honestly one of the best I have had. The server was attentive but not overbearing. The only downfalls I saw was this is in a hotel (great if you are staying there) and there were a lot of staff for the level of patronage and they were kind of mulling around the bar. Great place for a burger.

    House special burger

Finally decided to try this place out after hearing lots of good things from others, and constant radio ads. As it turns out the house special burger with a side was on special today. Ordered medium well with onion rings. My food was brought to me very quickly, probably less than 8 to 10 minutes. Great presentation, looked so good. Then i started eating and unfortunately i came away unimpressed with it. The meat itself had pretty much no flavor at all. The bun was soggy due to some unidentified sauce they put on it that wasnt good at all. The onion rings werent cooked long enough leaving them thick with undercooked breading. I was also sitting in the booth next to another couple whose order was completely messed up coming out of the kitchen and they werent too happy. Im guessing between my order and theirs that whoever they had working in the kitchen just wasnt up to the job. However the service was great and my waiter came around several times to check on my which was lovely. I think a 3 star is about the best i can do based on the taste and quality of the food. Only the speed and friendliness of the staff got the extra star. I most likely wont ever eat here again as there are places in town that offer much more tasty burgers.

Great tasting burgers. Fries are good too. Little pricey for what they are but still very good. Best to park on the south side.

Well... almost everything. =) This little restaurant was one of the only places we could find open, and by the time we arrived, it was obvious the manager and his small crew were already preparing themselves for the tidal wave of hungry travelers that was about to descend upon them. And honestly, I have to give them tremendous credit. While most people were home gathered around tables with family, turkey, and pumpkin pie, this small group of hardworking people had chosen to spend their Thanksgiving feeding complete strangers passing through town. One of the staff members helping was the manager's daughter, and despite the growing crowd and nonstop activity, everyone maintained such genuinely positive attitudes that the entire place felt unexpectedly uplifting. The manager himself took time to speak with us and shared how grateful he was for the kindness and generosity shown by the owners of the establishment. There was something deeply sincere and humble about the conversation that stayed with me long after we left. It reminded me that there are still genuinely good-hearted people out there quietly doing the right thing without fanfare. As for the food, we kept things simple -- burgers, fries, and onion rings. Nothing particularly fancy, but perfectly passable for a Thanksgiving travel lunch. But honestly, the food was not what made this stop memorable. It was the spirit of the place. Kansas is often considered part of the American heartland, and sitting there on Thanksgiving Day watching exhausted travelers, hardworking employees, and grateful customers all crossing paths together somehow felt like a small glimpse into the kindness and resilience that still exists quietly across the country. By the time we got back on the road, I found myself oddly thankful we had stopped there at all. Sometimes the places you remember most are not the luxurious ones. Sometimes they are simply the places that made you feel welcomed when you needed it most.

Excellent experience and highly recommended.
