TL; DR Neighborhood bar and grill. Clean and cool local spot at Salina 5 miles S of I-70. Good food and low prices. 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 5/30/25 The day crew was just thinning out and shift changing. I sat at the bar. Fair beer selection, and mixed drinks. Average bar seating, plenty of tables with a couple of pool tables, quick and friendly service. Everybody seemed friendly and willing to visit or leave you be. I was treated like a regular pretty quickly; I started a tab and the bartender called me by my name every time she refilled my glass. Wings Buffalo style were good. Hot from the fryer, crispy, sauce was Frank's based. No celery. Burger was served on thick sliced, grilled Italian-style bread and put properly together, not deconstructed. Patty appeared to be 1/4 lb and premade but pretty good; decent pickle, red onion, and hand sliced tomato. Probably nice to regulars but are rude to newcomers. Went one night and the lady seemed annoyed I came in and ordered a beer, next night they wouldn't serve a friend cause there was a tiny chip on his ID, but would still server me. Recommended another bar that was closed so I went back to get a beer. And then they wouldn't even let my coworker sit inside with a water. Always a good atmosphere and cold beer! Bartender Sierra is always great, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You can even just sit and play card games with friends. I think I learned three new games there, ask about the card game "golf"... Patio is nice in the evenings too. The additional room helped the small bar too on busy nights after KWU games! To each their own.If you were one of the twelve regulars who were there all day drinking you properly love the place.Don't get me wrong ,I love a good dive bar with some character but this was not it.We we're on the road and staying at a hotel close.A drunk with an apron followed us to our table.We thought he worked there but he did not.He kept talking to us but we could not understand him or get rid of him.Inside was dark loud and worn out,not welcoming.Service slow to none.We finished our first beer and left.We travel around a lot and know that you win some and lose some...put this place in the latter. read more

Great little local place for a drink. Stopped in for a night cap while driving home on a vacation and had a great time chatting with locals both working there and stopped in for drinks. Very affordable drinks and the staff was amazing. Eric behind the bar, and another lady with some amazing tattoo work, were very sociable and made the evening even more fun. read more

This is one of the best bars in town good atmosphere great staff friendly people. Has a great outside deck in winter they put up tints with gas heaters in them and very comfortable chairs and couches to sit in recommend to everybody. read more
