This place is terrible. I went in around 2pm and the lady at the register was having so much trouble. She charged someone too much or something of the sort, took her 45 minutes to figure out and she stood there cussing and fighting her coworkers. The owner called and they had a cussing battle over the phone. I waited an hour to order my food. Then 30 minutes to even receive it. There was no one else in the store. Food was cold and bland. We stopped by this small diner on the way back to St. Louis. This place reminds me of a old school diner. The burgers were great. They also carry Blue bell ice cream which we saw a few children enjoy. Staff was friendly, food was great. Highly recommend!. read more

I think the older reviews on here may be a bit generous. There's nothing wrong at all but it just isn't a 4.5 kinda place. We've tried it twice while staying overnight in Winfield, mostly because if you don't get off the highway before 7:00pm there isn't much else to choose from. They have decent burgers, fish, and fries. I've had the fish fingers and hubby has gotten burgers both times. I'd say its just a decent local place to grab some grub before crashing for the night. Great little place, fresh food, huge chicken tenders in a light batter. Burger was flavorful and great fries.

The costumer service was great, they loved our central Virginia accents. It took our 6 meals about 5 to 10 minuets to come out. It was very tasty and the portions were great. Next time we are in Winfield we will most definitely be back! read more

I stop by here regularly to get a order of smoked wings. I love this little place. My wife normally gets the steak sandwich and she has never had any complaints. The service is always good and the food is too. Recommend that you try them out one time. It has been a while since I have eaten here and I am overdue to go back. First of all, it did take a short time for our food to be served but that's okay as it was cooked fresh on order. I had rather wait a little while and have fresh hot food than to get it right away and it be cold. Second, the portion was more than plenty. You wont leave hungry, that is for sure.
